I'm
struggling
to
understand
why
this
establishment
has
acquired
so
many
5
star
reviews,
unless
paid
for
via
fiverr
etc.
These
people
are
seriously
committed
to
relieving
you
from
your
cash
and
it
would
seem
to
be
their
No
1
priority.
When
I
arrived
there,
I
was
ill
and
could
hardly
walk.
My
other
half
checked
me
in
and
paid
their
registration
fee.
I
was
put
in
a
wheelchair
and
trundled
to
the
lift
to
go
to
intensive
care.
When
the
lift
doors
opened,
I
expected
to
see
a
doctor
waiting,
but
no.
Instead,
there
was
a
lady
with
a
portable
visa
💳
terminal,
who
asked
me
for
5
million
Pesos,
deposito.
I
paid
this
of
course
and
was
admitted.
On
arrival
I
explained
that
I
was
diabetic
but
they
didn't
seem
to
take
note.
They
performed
all
manner
of
tests
and
injected
me
with
many
drugs
and
potions.
When
my
condition
did
not
improve
that
much.
More
tests
were
performed.
My
other
half's
eldest
is
a
head
nurse
at
a
flying
doctors
unit
in
Africa.
They
suggested
that
I
might
have
ketoacidosis,
the
Hospital
said
that
they
were
not
investigating
for
that.
1
hour
later
they
confirmed
that
indeed,
I
did
have
ketoacidosis.
This
was
treated
and
I
recovered.
The
nurses
were
fine,
except
when
they
used
a
catheter
on
me
to
obtain
a
urine
sample.
Even
after
I
refused
consent.
The
food
in
Perfect
Body
was
disgusting
and
Not
suitable
for
a
diabetic.
Sugary
stuff,
mashed
potatoes
and
vile
soups.
My
bill
came
to
1200
USD
a
day.
75
%
of
the
cost
was
drugs
and
tests.
Most
of
which
were
probably
unnecessary.
Edit.
I
originally
thought
that
describing
this
part
of
my
experience
was
too
embarrassing
to
mention,
but
now
think
I
have
a
duty
to
warn
people
of
it.
Whilst
in
this
place,
they
wanted
to
take
urine
samples
as
would
be
expected.
However,
the
second
time
they
came
to
do
it,
they
forced
a
catheter
tube
into
me
against
my
will.
Despite
demanding
to
speak
to
Dr
'Black'
(The
head
doctor
wears
black
medical
attire)
They
held
me
down
and
continued
with
the
procedure
against
my
will.
End
of
edit..
Other
people
in
Santa
Marta
explained
that
the
cost
was
outrageous
by
Colombian
standards.
I
felt
that
I
had
been
fleeced
and
the
fact
that
they
ignored
my
diabetes,
even
after
moving
out
from
the
icu.
This
place
sucks
and
I
would
advise
giving
it
a
wide
berth.
Other
residents
in
Santa
Marta
have
told
me
of
similar
horror
stories
as
well.
You
have
been
warned.
