I came to Caribbean Pro Dive Centre after extensive researching online for my Open Water certification course (there’s not that many 5-star PADI centres around that provides good English guide and very good price for the course). On my first day I was blown away by the great organization, amazingly thorough instructor (thanks Juan!) and immediately signed up to the Advanced Open Water course! The more advanced you are as a diver the more likely you’ll enjoy the dive sites, as there’s not much at beginner level. But I got to see amazing sea life over 3 days, including ship wrecks, octopus, eels, plenty of fishes and corals. Plus the staffs are extremely fun and helpful, and free photos! Thank you Caribbean Pro Dive for the amazing experience, I’ll highly recommend if you have some time in Santa Marta.

I did a PADI Open Water with Caribbean Pro and it was a good experience overall. I did 3x dives on the first day but unfortunately I felt really cold after the first dive which made it difficult to focus for learning the new skills and it was also less enjoyable. Many people were freezing so they should maybe advise for tighter/thicker wetsuits. Instructions on the first day were too briefly during the bumpy ride to the spot. For people doing their first scuba dive ever this might be a bit scary. It's would be better to receive the instructions when the boat is anchored. Second day was much better with a thicker wetsuit and very good instructions from Tomas when the boat was anchored. If you feel uncertain just don't go ahead in the water but actively demand for instructions again in the boat.

Our family had a fantastic experience with Caribbean Pro! While in Colombia, we made a specific point of going to Santa Marta so my 16 year old daughter could get certified for her birthday and it ended up being an absolute highlight of our trip. Both my husband and daughter got certified. We were a little bit concerned about language and safety, but we had absolutely no reason to be. The guides at Caribbean Pro were extremely professional with good English. My daughter loved it! My other three kids snorkeled and I did a try dive. I loved it so much I planned to get certified in the future. Thank you Caribbean Pro!

My first dive! It was worth it and from my perspective it was cheaper than other centers. I felt safe all the time but we only had one guide for 5 new persons so I don’t think is enough tho. But all of us were responsible adults and we had a great time. I would totally recommend this center!

They helped me push past my fear so I could have an amazing experience diving. Highly recommend Caribbean Pro! The fun dive is also very worth it once you’re certified. Also, Caro is the best :)

Just finished my Open Water PADI course here and it was amazing!! Staff is very professional, but that did not come at the cost of it being fun. The course can be done in three days, but if you reserve in advance, you receive the theory of the course earlier such that you won't have to cram all the theory in 1 day. On the two dive days you do 5 dives in total in a small group (we were with 3) and we had 1 instructor. Our instructor Jaime was really fun and relaxed, but safety was clearly the number one priority of all instructors. His English was also good and easy to understand. Definitely recommend!!

I think i actually had more fun here than Galapagos, because of the excellent atmosphere. If your in the Caribbean come to Santa Marta and see the national park above and below the water. 😀

Had such a fantastic time doing my Open Water with CP that I came back to do my Advanced. Couldn’t recommend enough: best value dive school in Santa Marta. The instructors are all fluent in English and really friendly. For the Advanced I received 1to1 tuition, and for the OW there was one other student.
