One of the most important places and tourist attractions in the city, because that was where the liberator SimĂłn BolĂvar was in his last days before dying. A place that has a lot of history because it was previously a farm where they dedicated themselves to panela, the tour guides are well prepared to tell you everything about this emblematic site where it has been the epicenter of meetings and great events with prominent people.

We should all go to this place if we pass through Santa Marta. It is more than a museum, the last proclamation of the liberator is... it leaves you speechless. It has beautiful gardens, a giant oak tree, colonial architecture, an atmosphere consistent with the historical period of the liberator. In general the house is in good condition, the main sculpture requires better maintenance. The guides contradict each other in the information although there are children who are very good at the job.

It is a historic place that is quite abandoned, especially the sugar cane utilization area. It would be interesting if they resumed the process, based on a video representation or with elaborate objects to make tourists aware of what the entire process of distilling and so on was and how it worked. Because they are large buildings, which are maintained but empty, almost abandoned, coming to life solely and exclusively from the guide. It is necessary to recover the heritage, to allow young people to recognize the work that their ancestors did. Make public policies, binding with universities.

Historical place, with guide. Your route also leads through large green areas, where you will see trees in the region and bird watching.

Visiting this historical museum is to live a moment of peace and serenity due to its ancient facilities, its gardens that provide a beautiful natural setting of singular beauty, it is to give yourself the opportunity to stroll peacefully through its corridors and feel the hubbub of the guests of the host couple. , the liberator Simón Bolívar and his companion Manuelita Sáenz, it is a delight to walk through its patios, along its cobblestone paths surrounded by trees and bushes that undoubtedly transport the visitor to a pleasant little earthly paradise. Photo on one of its cobbled paths under its green and beautiful bushes.

A place with a lot of history, the employees and the tour guides are very friendly although you can do the tour without them, in addition to the well-kept green areas.

It was terrible, we traveled from Bogota to visit the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. And what a disappointment. An Abandonment of this emblematic site of the Country.
