Beautiful clean beach. Road is a bit bumpy to get there. from parking lot to beach only 20 min walk. Bring own drinks, no beer tho.

Well....had high expectations and my suggestions are related to my today's experiences: go very early (opens 8 am only fr/sa/sun), don't take moto taxi, walk distance 15', front line 'box' overprized (40000 cop), take higher leveled (20000 cop), food and drinks (except beer) totally overprized. Service was very kind. I guess for snorkeling this could be one spot by taking a boat and going a bit outside...very nice place !!!

Access to the site entrance 30000/40000 pesos by taxi from the center of Santa Marta. On site only compulsory insurance at 6000 pesos/person to pay. Access 20 minutes walk on shaded and flat path. Clean and large beach, favor the quieter center than the ends. This beach is part of Tayrona Park but you don't have to pay the park's exorbitant entrance fee (80,000 pesos). Closing at 4 p.m. No network to order a taxi on the way back but collective shuttles possible 😔

Well, the water is clear and at the end of the beach you’ll find a nice more quiet place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view! But: the Organisation of the nature reserve is really disappointing. They let people walk half an hour or pay for the motorbikes to get you to the beach - cars weren’t allowed when we entered. They tell you not to leave your trash in the area and although they have people who collect trash, they let everything at the entrance fall on the floor. It’s sad to see what happens to such nice places as soon as people take over...

Beautiful beach. Clear, clean water. Shade to get out of the sun. Tiny little gold flecks in the sand. The sand is a little courser than what we are accustomed to, but still comfortable to walk on. The sand does get hot. Feels like a tropical paradise.

The beach is nice, but the route there is not recommended. A long walk on a bumpy road, then another 6000 pesos per person and a 20 minute walk.

Moderate traffic of people. Beach itself is just okay. Vendors everywhere selling overpriced stuff. 25 mil pesos for a shaded tent spot with plastic chairs. Rip off. The snorkeling spot 5 minutes away by boat (thru tours) is pretty cool, which is why this isn’t 2 or 1 stars, but if you don’t bring your own, there’s no mouthpiece with the ones they give out. Overall, I peg it as an expensive (esp if you book a ‘tour’) beach day.

Beautiful beach, possibility to go and do snorkeling for an extra fee (i would recommend snorkeling - amazing experience)

It takes a while to get there on a rocky road. Then you have to walk 20 minutes through sand and dust just to arrive at a crowded dirty beach full a people who want to sell you overpriced stuff. If you value your time avoid it at all cost.

😐 The beach is in a peaceful part of the sea that has very less waves compared to the other beaches. As much as the water is peaceful, the shore is not. There is hardly a moment of quiet when you are at the beach. There are people selling different types of things from cocktails to massages. The beach...

😐 The beach is very beautiful, you can spend a pleasant day. The bad thing is the way the sellers want to mess you up with the prices. Specifically, the awnings with chairs, it is better to ask beforehand and ask the person because a man gave me a price and then the person in charge of the awnings arr...

👍👍 The best beach to visit by walking in Tayrona Park. It's just a 15-minute walk from Cabo San Juan and it's infinitely better. The beach has fewer waves and the water is prettier, there are much fewer people and the food offering is much better (although a little more expensive).
