Bad experience, they were not clear about which beds to give us, they changed our accommodation several times, they gave us a price to store our suitcases and then charged another. Terrible service

Very bad hostel. When we arrived We told the receptionnist we were very tired and she gave us a room on the top floor very close to a rooftop bar who played music very loud until Late. The staff never mentioned that detail when we payed of course. The room was pretty expensive by the way. Global hygiene and infrastructure are average. The biggest problem is that you just cannot sleep in this hostel. Pretty bad for a hotel...

Very bad, the day we arrived they had no idea about the prices, they rotated us through several rooms, they were not clear which beds were available, it took too long to check in, we left a suitcase to store and they told us that after 2 days of the Check-out cost $5,000 per day and per suitcase, when picking it up it turned out that the price was $10,000 per day and per suitcase, and everything was very clear there, prices, locations and so on. On the other hand, the communal kitchen is super dirty and neglected, I do not recommend it.

The best Hostel in the historic center of Santa Marta. Rooms for all tastes, from single and double private to shared. Bar, billiards, internet, WiFi, Television, live music. Spaces to relax.

Nice facilities but very few people there to stay. Sheets were of poor quality, really trapped the heat. Fans were good. Breakfast was very good, would recommend adding eggs to your continental for 20 peso. Front desk staff were great.

If you want a central location this is the place to go. For me that would be also the only reason to go there. Staff was not so helpful. On the website they say they provide Tours but actually I was just sent to the first Office down the street. I had booked a private room which for me didn't look like the photos on the Booking site. The most awful thing was actually the noise at night. It was as if I was sleeping in 3 night clubs. I decided not to stay the 2nd night I booked. Luckily the manager was fair enough to give back my money for the second night. The hostel might be to the liking of some but not mine.

Please do not stay there! I got absolutely no sleep due to very loud music being played every night from multiple bars surrounding the property. The room was disgusting, but I wouldn't care if I could only sleep there to have the energy to explore the area during the day. The reception staff was the most rude I've met during my travels, ended up locking the gate and refusing to let me out under the pretext of 'checking the room during check out', refused to call the police. I'm easy going and have been travelling for many years and this has been by far the worst experience ever. No sleep, very rude staff, no information about the city (no maps, the staff was not knowledgable at all), disgusting rooms with ants all over and most of all I DIDN"T FEEL SAFE. There are so many other options in Santa Marta - don't be swayed by their promise of a cheap private room, I'd gotten much much better nights of sleep in 20-bed dorms, met cool people and didn't feel like I needed to call the police to have my human rights respected because of the reception staff locking me in.

This place was ok. We had a private AC room. The pros : Very close to the historical centre Cheap free breakfast Cute kittens to play with friendly older staff Free towels and soap and toilet paper The cons: A swimming "pool" - looks dusty Confused younger staff (we didn't speak very good Spanish) So close to the central - loud music on weekends. (were heavy sleepers though) Unreliable wifi Not lucious common areas (now im being picky)

Very poorly organized, they changed our room twice, the kitchen was very messy and with very few things, and in the end they gave us a price to store a suitcase and when we claimed it they charged us double.

Really cool, artsy place. Love all the art they have, has a nice relaxing vibe yet it's in the middle of the heart of the party apparently, you just go outside during the weekend and you'll find a multitude of things to do! The club right next door is actually quite good, and you can get in without a cover to many of the clubs nearby. Good options for restaurants nearby too. They also have a pool table, which is nice, and a big open area to hang out in with a comfortable set-up. The only downfall is we git the dorm with the a/c option, which they said would work from 9pm to 9am, yet we woke up around 7 from the heat, the a/c turned off sometime in the night. Otherwise great stay and will definitely be staying there again!

It's a good place, but it totally depends on what you're trying to do... If you want to hang out, eat a variety of good things, enjoy the nightlife, drink, dance and fool around it is an awesome place, but if you want to sleep it is an awful place. All of it it's because it's located right next to "el parque de los novios" and that makes it have bars, restaurants and a lot of places for you to hang out.

The people are very nice and relaxt. But the hostel is not that clean especially the kitchen. Some showers Don't work and when they are working the water is very weak.

👍 Still a lot to do but it seems they improve everything step by step. @staff, don’t waste time on painting the men’s showers. Makes totally no sense at all. Use tiles 🙄! Finish the houses and it will be a very nice place to stay and relax.
