Wow, what an experience! We hiked all the way from Minca up to Finca Victoria (careful, it's a lonnnnng uphill hike) and I was totally pleasantly surprised with this coffee farm. The people are super nice, the place is mega sustainable (everything is run off one generator that's powered by a stream), and the coffee is truly perfect. I'm not a fan of drip coffee, I like espresso, but this was hand's down some of the best coffee I've ever had (which makes sense, they sell the unroasted beans for an egregious amount). Did the tour and it was highly informative, learned a lot, got to see the different qualities of beans, how they gravity separate, etc etc. At the end you get a cup of coffee. There's also a small restaurant with beer and snacks, and the area is stunningly beautiful, and we even managed to see some monkeys in the distance. Much of the walk up to the farm is through coffee trees. Just keep in mind if you walk that there are dirt bikes and trucks sometimes, and it can be quite dusty if it hasn't rained. If I were to do it again, I would rent a mountain bike.

It's a magical place, very peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature and fresh air. The people there are very friendly and kind. It was a wonderful visit.

Everyone said it was a must do when visiting Minca, but it was kind of underwhelming. For 25000/person plus 15000 motor taxi each way I wouldn't say it's a must do at all. The tour was meh.. included two small cups of coffee, which was good, but wouldn't have it on my list of recommendations for someone visiting the area.

We arrived with high expectations after reading the reviews. Upon arrival a lady asked in what language we would like to do the tour and told us where to go. There was a group that had already started the tour and so we missed its beginning. That was a bit irritating for us. It wouldnt have been a problem for us to wait a bit for a new group to gather. During our tour we saw 2 further groups start the tour…. We felt disappointed for being told to join the group that had already started and not getting the whole tour experience. Idk, if they have changed something, but we only recieved one cup of coffee.

Wonderful visit of the coffee farm that dates back to the 1890's. After a first cup of coffee we got to go outside and see the various coffee trees and get explanations on the beans pickup work. Then we visited the sophisticated machinery to sort, peal, ferment, wash and dry the beans. A very instructive experience.

The tour they gave us was 20 minutes tops. We did not get to see coffee plants, just the machinery. There was a big group afterwards, so my guess is they did not have much time for us since there is only one guide. One pays 20,000 COP, plus 30,000 COP to get there from Minca and go back by motorbike, so 50,000 COP for 20 minutes really. When at the end we wanted to buy coffee, they said the next group had decided to purchase all the coffee they had. If i do a coffee tour, I expect to be able to buy coffee. Do yourself a favor and go to La Candelaria coffee farm.

A wonderful place to visit! Genuinely interesting to view the whole production process of coffee, using machines unchanged since the 1890s. Very friendly staff and an absolutely beautiful location. Given that it’s about 7km up a steep road, it’s a good idea to take a moto taxi, and then walk back down through the forest. Strongly recommended!

Nice coffee plantation using antique equipment and methodologies to harvest and process coffee in a traditional “old school” manner. The tour was mainly focused on the production facility which was basically custom constructed three generations ago by the current owners grandfather (Opa, they’re German). We actually had a guided tour with the current owner, which she provided in English and in German. We really enjoyed hearing the stories about the property and land, and the ins and outs of maintaining the company. There is a cafe that serves coffee, snacks and microbrews which are also produced on the property, but by a different company. I was able to purchase some raw coffee beans to give away as gifts which I am very grateful for.

I really enjoyed checking this place out! They're still producing coffee using machines that were built over a hundred years ago. Just goes to show what a little upkeep can achieve! Definitely worth checking out.

Great coffee tour! I tried two coffees. One before the tour and one after. And the one after was way better!

Very good visit. This place is an authentic living museum with everything dating from 130 years ago! I recomend it to everyone, coffe lovers or not (like me).

Very nice coffee factory with machines still in use which are over a 100 years old. We took an (English) tour and learned the coffee bean process from a to z. And we even got to taste the coffee which was included in the tour. All in all a great experience! Ps. The road from the main road to the factory is a dirt road with lots of boog holes and trenches. Definitely recommend to either walk, take a motor (taxi) or some kind of 4*4. Not a normal car.

👍 Ordered cheeseburger + fries (16k on happy hour) and Margarita - this was communicated as a 2 for 1 when infact it was a buy 1 get 1 half price (which was slightly annoying as i'd not budgeted for that and would have stuck to the mojitos which were COP10 on happy hour). The fries were awesome. The...
