Tasty breakfast - probably the best option in n the old town.

We both had an avocado toast and it was quite good. The prices though are too high.

Amazing restaurant! Food was really tasty, price reasonable and staff very friendly. Besides that, it’s a cool place, really nice interior.

Another good place for breakfast... Cayeye with chicharron was delicious as well as Auyama pancakes. Great service, great food and a nice vibe all around the place. Will return for sure!! Update, we had teh egg sandwich, avocado toast, and the waffles. Great choices, specially for me the egg sadwich. Definitely a great option for breakfast. Must return and try lunch/dinner.

Came here for dinner and absolutely loved it! Ambience was perfect. Great, shareable Spotify playlists and beautifully designed space. Servers were very nice and spoke English when needed. Food was very flavourful. Enjoyed every bite. Will be back! Update: Ate here four times during our vacay. That’s how much we loved it.

This became my favorite restaurant during my six weeks in Santa Marta. Every dish I tried was really well made. And while the dishes look pleasant, they are not unnecessarily fancy - the kitchen focuses on the taste instead.

Poor service ! But really great food ! You will have to wait an hour for the food and maybe 30 minutes for every time that the server decides to stop by but the quality and taste of the food is great, just be ready to wait. The servers at this establishment need some basic training, we would have to wait for our waters and drinks to be refilled while they would joke around in the middle of the restaurant, very unacceptable.

A hidden gem. Came here for the barista coffee, returned for the chill vibes. Tried several of th vegetarian breakfast and lunch options - all were super tasty. Good spot to hang out away from the sun for a while. One of the best restaurants / cafes in Santa Marta IMO.

Superb service and food. They had also just changed the menu and had a promotion with a hired DJ and six excellent sample drinks (variations of rum, tequila, mezcal, and gin) included. The pasta that was served was such a high quality I thought an Italian worked here. Apparently the noodles were hand-made. Cooked to perfection too. I had the fish- a generous portion grilled and seasoned minimally but also excellent atop a bed of basil and cheese orzo. We were too curious so we also sampled desserts. Probably the best flan I've ever had. I hear the chef (Jose) is only 27- I would not be surprised if he found fame soon. Very talented and creative. Impressed and highly recommend 👍

Delicious, beautiful and veggie friendly. Service is a little slow but worthwhile. There is falafel sandwich for veggie plant based. Salads are delicious. Make sure you reserve if you go in a busy time

Wow! Highly recommend. Highly!! I took the croquetas which were absolutely delicious. I followed with the pasta which was freaking awesome. The bread that comes with the pasta is absolutely out of this world. I have never tasted bread that good in my life! I ended up buying more of the bread after so I could share it with my friends at dinner. Service was fast too. Highly recommend this place.

The best place to eat and drink in Santa Marta. I try to go here every time I go to the city as the quality is simply unmatched and unbeatable. The food, music and atmosphere is all perfect. Service is always with a smile, but could do with a little bit more finesse through speed and efficiency to reach perfection. The chef is incredibly talented and I'm looking forward to the negroni being back on the menu soon (fingers crossed!).

Cool, small hip upscale cafe with a great menu selection. Nice mixture of casual and contemporary service was extra good and staff delightful. You can tell the owner treats everyone well. The food... Yum! I can't wait to come back and try many more items.

The outside of the building is very deceiving. You will be pleasantly surprised once you pop in because Agua de Rio is a hidden gem! I ordered the chicken pesto panini and the fish entree. The fish entree had Asian flavors but with lots of limes. It was delish! The chicken sandwhich was super oily so I removed one of the breads that was soaked. It came with potatoes that were to die for. All my friends really enjoyed their food too! We all agreed that it was the best thing we had during our 3 days in Santa Marta. This looks like a beautiful place to study and get work done. It's quaint for sure and the prices are great. Definitely want to come back some day to try their coffee!

This is one of the best restaurants in Santa Marta we’ve found so far. And one of VERY few having AC. Often hard to get into so make a reservation. UPDATE: only 3 main dishes. After second time we feel like it’s not that interesting to come back. The dishes are delicious though! And the coffee is amazing!

Creative, delicious and modern bistro food - of the quality that I would expect to find in major cities in the US - and at reasonable prices. I had breakfast and lunch here, and everything was excellent. I love veggies but it’s so hard to find a good filling and delicious salad in Colombia, but Agua de Rio delivered. The AC works too, and the decor is contemporary with a retro vibe. Super comfortable and inviting. I’m finding it hard not to have all my meals here now while I’m still in Santa Marta!

Fantastic. We had the seafood pasta and eggplant sandwich with salad. It’s a beautiful Bistro Quiet-off the crazy busy restaurant row but very central. Charming. Wait staff super friendly. We will go back time and time again while here in Santa Marta
