Great hike. Their is parking for $12 however there is plenty of free street parking. There is a bathroom before you start your hike. There is a history board to tell you a little about the canyon. Amazing views. On a clear day you can see downtown Los Angeles Catalina island Malibu all from the top peak. You also see amazing mansion homes that make you ponder on how you can create wealth. There is always plenty of people so therefore it seems extremely safe. From start to finish if you're in decent shape it shouldn't take you more than 2 hours. I Tried It!!

Moderate hike, pretty much steep hike. Picturesque view from top. Great workout if you haven't gotten a chance to go to gym.

This is one of the BEST places I've hiked so far. Definitely challenging. I went up on the steep side and it really gets the wind out of you. Doing the loop and also going up to Skull rock was about 5 and half miles. The view at the top made it all worth it. Still more to explore so definitely will come back!! Feb 21, 2023 it was beautiful to finally see a little waterfall here.

This is a wonderful place to hike. One of my favorite hiking experiences! We like taking a more challenging incline on the way up and having a more gentle descent as it's easier on the joints. Went up the stairs and a right to Temescal Ridge Trail, took the connection to the waterfall and came down Temescal Canyon Trail, which was gentler inclines that were more shaded. This was a perfect two hour experience. Not too much brush when we went. Gorgeous waterfall. Highly recommend.

Very nice park with a lot of hiking trails nearby. All of the trees are so interesting to look at.

Nice trails. Two main attractions, Skull Rock and the Waterfall with bridge. Multiple trails lead you there. Mostly shaded so good for even the mid day hike. Waterfall during this time of the year is dried up but can see the trace of it. Overall a pretty good hike!

Pretty nice hike with great views, lots of butterflies at the top. Depending on the time of day, you get a good amount of shade on the way. For a Sunday, not too busy - parking lot ($12 parking) was pretty full but the hike itself was not crowded.

Love it up here on a clear day. Today was November 11, 2023, temperature at 80 and little wind. One benefit of this park on a hot day is there is shade if you stay on the south trail head. Plenty of shade through much of the ascent to one of the most spectacular full view of the Santa Monica Bay, bonus Catalina 🏝️.

Hike was intense going up but great coming down. About 4 miles round-trip. Very intuitive to follow. Great views and very green right now. There was even a little water in the waterfall!

Love hiking here. Great for everyone. If you're a beginner, don't worry, you will be good. The views are so worth it!

Best views ever! Not at all a crowded and a pretty easy hike. Totally worth it when you get to the top. There is a little waterfall you pass before the uphill climb, though it's not much of a waterfall coz it hasn't rained in a while.
