I waited patiently for them to open this location and finally went. I love Dave's, I'm excited to have one so close. Their chicken so so good; thick juicy pieces. I got combo 3 Slider & a tender Extra Hot. It definitely isn't "extra hot" for me but has such good flavor, heavily seasoned, crispy outside and juicy inside. Even their fries are seasoned nicely, and the pickles are tasty too. I smother their tangy/savory sauce on every bite and wash it down with a Dr pepper. This location is busy, staff is friendly, there's parking in their lot or on the street and seating inside and outside.

Nothing glamorous about this spot. It looks like the typical fast food restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. The food was pretty good. The flavor on their spicy chicken wasn't the best. Main Chick has slightly better fries and slightly better chicken seasonings at the spicy level. I never tried non-spicy, so I can't comment as to those.

An awesome new hot chicken place in the Northridge area now that they are open. I been waiting for Dave Hot Chicken to open here ever since I saw there sign that said Coming Soon! I never tried Dave Hot Chicken so I was interested in trying it. The first thing that will stand out at this place compared to other hot chicken place is the parking. Just know most spots are compact parking but you have more spots across the street. This place also have a separate window for pickup or deliver so that will help with the line. The interior looks very nice and I like their theme. I got the sliders and tenders meal since I got it for my family as well. To play it safe, the highest level I got was hot. The medium is not spicy at all but the hot has a little kick to it. They give a decent amount of sauce on the side. The only thing I hope they will do in the future is make some holes in the container so it help release some steam because if you have a long drive home the food will get soggy. The food is great and the portion they get is good enough for me.

Worst service ever. I usually love Dave’s hot chicken but today my experience was awful. I placed the order online and estimated wait time was 10 mins. I put in order ahead of time and still I had to wait 25 mins for my order. On top of that when I finally received my order and checked the bag it was missing fries. The staff were nice enough to apologize and give me fries. I went home and took a bite out of my slider (I had ordered hot spice level) and I realized they gave me little spice level instead. This wasn’t even medium level. Fries were thankfully decent. I finally got to the Mac n cheese and was shocked by the bad quality. It looked so dried out and old. Mac n cheese feels like you’re eating dry glue. Would not recommend!

Shouts out to Dave's! For real this is the coolest chicken spot in LA! The staff is always courteous and gives food to the HOMELESS! Unlike other chicken restaurants! Of course we always get the chicken tenders meal MILD STYLE BABY! The Northridge location is bigger and warmer than the N.. Hollywood location but both are great to eat at!

I got the Chicken slider(medium) by itself, the 2 piece tenders(mild) with fries and a strawberry milkshake. Excellent quality chicken, very tender and juicy with the fries cooked to perfection. Their special sauce was really good and matched well for dipping the tenders in. The milkshake was really good, as good as In N Out’s shakes. The workers were awesome too, very upbeat, polite notably Sonia, Joseph and Ashley! Great job and making my lunch trip the best. I can honestly say the chicken is at the same level of flavor/greatness as Howlin’ Ray’s for me without the extensive wait times and limited hours.

I live behind this restaurant, I don’t eat fast food period, my 3 boys love this restaurant, when ever they came to visit, I would take them there, the restaurant is very clean, the bathroom is very clean, really nice environment friendly people, sometimes the long line,my kids love the food

Was delicious , and the sliders are alot bigger than normal sliders. I got the hot as I like some heat but it was not unbearably hot like some other places. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for tasty spicy chicken. Also ... Those cheese fries were the bomb !!

Really been into hot chicken lately it so good and tender... Like that u can get different spice levels... I always go with some spice.. came into Dave's hot chicken for the first time... Went with #3 you get 1tender on white bread and 1 slider with some fries... I give it a thumbs up....

I've been here a few times and this time my rating will be a lot lower than the first few times that I've been here due to the fact that effective listening hasn't been applied when ordering. There is no hiring signs anywhere yet they are very short staffed and you will have to wait longer than normal expected time. I asked for extra hot and got mild chicken, I'm expressing my frustration here since I don't think it's fair nor I'm that customer to say something as they are slammed and only 2 people working smh! HIRE MORE PEOPLE!! the Texas locations are on it 1000% and this is California originated from.

I've driven past this place so many times but never went here. There is always a line. I decided to stop by for the first time the other day. There is street parking on Reseda, on a side street, and in a small lot in the back. The place was clean inside and out. I ordered meals for 2 and it came up to over $30. I was shocked and a bit irritated. That was until we got home and ate. The food was very good...even the crinkle fries that I don't normally care for. The serving size was plentiful too. It actually lasted for 2 meals for both of us. Between how good it is and how big the portion size is, I no longer feel that it is too expensive. I will be back!

Me and my husband are legit daves fans and we travel 18 miles just to have it. But someone in the staff totally ruined our experience today by packing us old n stale and full of oil old tenders at northridge location.

First time here today, we where recommended combo #3 which has a slider and a large chicken strip and fries. No drinks with the combos, have to order separately. The slider was delicious! Will order it again! The chicken strip on its own was good but I wouldn’t order it again since the slider is so much better. The only thing I didn’t care much for was the fries, good but nothing extraordinary about them. JoJo was awesome!

This was my first time eating here and I will definitely be back. I wouldn’t say the actual seasoning of the chicken itself is the best of anywhere I’ve been, but everything surrounding and accompanying it is. The fries and pickles are great and paired with their sauce, the flavours go really well together (and I’m not a pickle person either). The slider is definitely more of a sandwich than a slider which I like, and partnered with the coleslaw, cheese, and a bit of honey it’s sooo good. The spice that they use is nice too because it actually adds flavour instead of just heat. This meal will actually fill you up too, like I wasn’t even able to get a refill of my drink. Also something else interesting is that they offer you a free small drink or shake if you check in on yelp.

Any and Every time that I go here the food is always on point. It's always choice. the staff is always cool and it always appears to be clean. sometimes the machine in the front for auto ordering doesn't work, but anytime you get a staff member it works and through any app it works. I love this place good spot for the community

So with all the hype of this new chicken restaurant I wanted to experience it 1st hand today. The place itself was pretty stereotypical Fast food place. It was pretty much a Chick-fil-A Vibe going on. Red accented chairs and and wood tables. I ordered the 2 slider combo and the reason being is because I was going to go share one of the sliders with with my daughter. I don't think it's accurate to call them sliders because because these sandwiches would be considered full size full size at another restaurant. The one slider was plenty enough for each myself and daughter. You can order it from medium all the way up to insanely spicy. So to test the waters I went with medium and with medium and I was happy to report that it had a nice heat to it but nothing overwhelming at this point. I also dug the crinkle fries which had some kind of spice on it. Nice flavors. The sliders had a creamy slaw and Dave's sauce. It worked all well with each other. I want to come back and try something something with a little more heat and and hopefully it won't be too painful.

First time trying this place and I was very pleased with my order. I got Combo #3 with the medium spiciness. It was delicious and very filling. Could only eat the sandwich and some fries. Needed to save the rest for later.

While the spices and chicken were good, there was a lot of real estate left over on the bun that seemed like a waste and was neither flavourful or pleasant. There are definitely better options for a top notch hot chicken sandwich close by.

Nice large and clean restaurant. It was busy on a Friday night when we were there. A line to order our food at 8:30pm and a bit of a wait for our to go order. We like their chicken sandwiches. I ordered a Hot level and it was not as hot as other Dave's places. Fries were nice and crunchy.

Its really good and crispy and the slice if bread was good also! Its just a white bread slice but hey it was tasty! I got a mild single tender. Comes with slice of white bread pickles and a small cup of sauce. I didnt like that I had to pay for a pouch of daves sauce. 0.39 cents is still 39 cents! Lol at least one free one per item purchased. Also I got no ketchup or honey even though I ordered it and put in the notes. I ordered through a 3rd party delivery and did have to wait after a couple of other orders were dropped off also and the food was still good!

As soon as I walked in, Brianna gave me a nice smile. She gave me a warm welcome and asked me for my order. I was new to Dave’s but she gave me a rundown and I ordered. Her service was impeccable and outstanding. Very communicative with the wait time. Will definitely go back.

Once again, jacob and stephanie were amazing. They welcomed us in and made sure our order was how we wanted it to be. They made our experience amazing yet again. I love coming to this Dave’s hot chicken!!!

I went there and the cashier named was Jasmin she got me 10/10 service. She was so sweet took my order very fast. She is probably the best cashier there. I will be going there again. She was so pretty too might ask for her number next time.

I’m impressed. This is like the In n Out version of a fried chicken place. Very fresh and tasty. And staff is super nice.

This place is fire. Tried the extra hot. For myself it was perfect but my wife said it was too hot I would highly suggest only get the extra hot if you can handle it. Great tasting chicken and fries are really bomb crispy and perfectly seasoned. Would highly recommend return back to this Dave's hot Chicken location.

My experience at Dave's Hot Chicken today was very gratifying. I was warmly greeted by a guy with a great personality and even infectious smile. I believe his name was David. He immediately made me feel welcomed. The food was great. The people were attentive, I had a first rate experience. Kudos Dave's Hot Chicken. Daves at this location is great. My husband and I come here after we go to Six Flags. We order the Reaper spice level. Great hot chicken place for spicy lovers.

Food is decent. The chicken sandwich is good, not as spicy as other locations. The fries, not the best. The flavor they have isn't as good as I thought, aside from that they provide a small portion for the 2 sliders. I'd figure it'd be a bit more due to the prices. Other than that it was not bad. I did end up getting one sandwich double fried, not sure if refried, or just left for to long. I wouldn't mind eating here again, but there are other, better locations. Their Mac n' cheese is alright. As you can see for $5 they could've atkeast filled the cup. Taste just like the blue box, no different in the taste to solely say it's from Dave's .

Family, girlfriend, and I went on a Sunday night at 11:30 pm after the airport. There was no line and the people at the counter were nice And made sure to get our order correctly. The person giving out the food was kind and also gave us extra sauce, honey, and ketchup and told us where the napkins were. The food was delicious!
