Alessandro was AMAZING!! The entire tour from start to finish was exactly what we were looking for and then some. He spent time beforehand getting to know us, sharing some history about the area, and getting us excited for the day. We had an awesome day with BrightSideTours! Went to Wineyard for a special two people tour and it was great! Our guide explained a lot during the bike tour and on the winyard we had one guide just for us! The wines were amazing and sowas the view! It is a little bit more expensive but totally worth it! A little different experience from normal tours around Barcelona! Just to be complete: we felt very safe on the bike - no troubles at all!

I highly recommend adding this trip to your itinerary! We had a great afternoon seeing Barcelona from vintage motorcycles. My husband and I visited Barcelona this December and absolutely LOVED Brightside's Sidecar Tour. Barcelona's tour in sidecar is something incredible and unforgettable; the view you get of Barcelona while you're in the sidecar is incomparable. The tour organization and the attention you get from Brightside tours are excellent. Our tour guide, Alessandro, was interacting with us the whole time and made special each part of Barcelona. He showed his great knowledge about the city so the 3h of tour seemed very short. So the tour and Brightside tours are highly recommended, it worth the money.

My wife and two faughters (aged 14 and 11) took the motorcycle and side car tour around the major sights of Barcelona. What a great way to see the city! Lots of fresh air and easy access to all those difficult to get to spots. Our tour guides were both very knowledgeable and courteous and also sensible drivers. They have a clever intercom system where the three of us on the bike could communicate. A lot of fun and a great way to see the city。

Our guide, Quim, made this our favorite tour we took in our 10 days in Spain! The sidecar motorcycle tour is unique, and Quim immediately made me feel safe on the bike. We learned so much about the local culture, and can’t recommend this experience enough!

I visited Barcelona last weekend and since I got back everyone is asking me “how was it?”. I simply say I LOVED IT. Why??? Because we had this great tour with TAREK. We had limited time in Barcelona and had a great time in this tour. Our guide was Joppe and he was very friendly and knowledgeable of the place (and also gave us some tips for where to eat and what to see). We have been on a lot of tours but this one stood out because we got to experience the city in a completely different way. We also got some cool photos along the way. Great tour, fantastic guide.

We went on the Half Day Winery Tour. Joe was our sidecar driver. He was punctual, knowledgeable and happy to answer any of our questions. He told us a bit about the history of the Port of Barcelona. As we were riding out of the city, he told us about the towns we were driving through. The winery itself where the tour is held is called Alta Alella. They specialize in Cava, but also made other red and white wines. The wine was earthy and filled with minerality. The views from the winery were gorgeous; we could even see the Barcelona skyline in the distance. Thank you to Joe and the teams at BrightSide and Alta Alella!

I have traveled extensively. This is one of the best tours I have ever done. Just a complete blast and great way to see Barcelona, especially if you are short on time. My guide Guiu made the tour fun and extremely informative. So many highlights including Montjuïc Cemetery. When I return to Barcelona, I will take one of the other motorcycle tours.

Wow! What an incredibly fun tour. This came highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. We only had two days to spend in Barcelona and this side car motorcycle tour helped us see the highlights and get a feel for the local culture. Johannes was our tour guide and he was awesome! We rented two motorbikes for two couples. Guides Joao and Lesandro were terrific, no better way to see Barcelona in a relatively short period of time. Very informative and fun. It even rained a bit but who cares, we had a blast. Highlight of the trip.

We had an amazing experience with BrightSide tours. Me and my sister had the best possible tour showing us beautiful places of Barcelona that we would have not been able to see by walking around the city because of the long distances and the large height differences. During the tour we were told all nice stories about the city, all this while driving since there are microphones and speakers on and in the helmets. Joppe is a great driver and story teller, and knows a lot of nice places around the city. Definitely recommend booking a tour, it completely upgraded our citytrip and was so different from everything we have ever done before.

Our sidecar tour of Barcelona was definitely the standout highlight of our trip (June 2022). I genuinely don’t think we could have had a better experience, which was all down to our fantastic guide Alessandro! We saw & learned so much as we zipped around the city with huge smiles on our faces! We’d seen some of the top tourist sights before on previous visits, but this was all self-guided and required a lot of research to find and learn about the architecture and History etc. For this trip I wanted to do something a little different, especially as it was my partners birthday. Alessandro covered so much in 4 hours, from the must sees of the city to the lesser known gems, the things that only a local can tell you. The information was conveyed in an interesting way, not some sort of lecture. We hopped off the bike at one point to explore the narrow streets of the gothic quarter, with a stop off at a fantastic gelato shop - at our request. The best part - just cruising around such a beautiful city on a pretty rare bright red motorbike and sidecar! One thing we did not expect - to have so much positive attention from onlookers. We booked the half-day sidecar tour as it suited our existing itinerary, but we did opt for the extra hour to take in more sights and make the most of our experience. Oh, we also chose to add on a couple glasses of Cava too, which we’d highly recommend. We sipped away at the top of Montjuic Hill and took in the views of the city below. Overall the service was fantastic. I was able to easily amend my booking after realising I had other activities that would clash with the sidecar tour. Emailing the team was straightforward and painless! Responses were also quick and informative. And as I mentioned earlier Alessandro (our guide) was great throughout the tour. He was professional, knowledgeable, funny and most importantly, he made us feel completely safe on the bike. A true 5* experience!

What a treat! We were in Barcelona for only one day and wanted to cover as much ground as possible. We did the sidecar night tour with the cava toast. It exceeded all of our expectations. The tour was deeply historically informed, full of stories, smart, fun, humorous, personal, and educational. The city was gorgeous at night. This tour was incredible for our family of five. My family of four took the Night Rider tour with Tarek and Giorgio and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Both are extremely knowledgeable and share a real passion for the city of Barcelona. They are enthusiastic guides and have a wonderful sense of humour. The tour was tailored to our interests and we covered a lot of ground in two and a half hours. The driving was safe yet still exhilarating enough for our teenagers. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It was a real highlight of our trip to Spain.

I highly recommend the tapas dinner evening tour. This was recommended to me and I booked this as a surprise to my 24 year old son. He was not only surprised by the originality but LOVED the experience - as did I ( mom). Our guide, Joao, was not only humorous, but a riding history lesson of the sites and town of Barcelona. My daughter and I had a great time on our sidecar tour with Pau! We were only in Barcelona for 48 hours so we wanted a good overview of the sights and history and that’s exactly what we got! My family absolutely loved our Evening Sidecar Experience with BrightSide Tours! Me and my family did two tours with these guys, a half day van tour with my parents, and a side car food tour with my sister and her husband. We had Quim for the van tour, and Giorgio and Matias for the food tour. Both tours were amazing, my or parents loved the ease of the van tour, they pick you right up from your hotel or Airbnb. It was awesome, both Incorporated great vistas of the whole city, van tour. The side car tour we had some champagne while we looked at the evening view of the city. They listen to what you like and don't like and tailor the tastings accordingly. They know a bunch of things about the city and can answer all your questions about the city, and if they don't know they will ping all the other guides to find out. Definitely would recommend.

Such an amazing tour! My husband and I took this tour with Tarek and he was fantastic. We saw so many great neighborhoods and places. Great way to get the lay of the land and awesome recommendations. Tarek knew so much and was great giving us the history and local feel of Barcelona! Sidecars was comfortable never felt unsafe once in it and was able to clearly listen and talk through the helmet microphones. Highly recommend!!

Awesome!! Quim, our guide/driver, gave us an excellent Sidecar tour of the areas we wanted to see and even more. He was a good driver as well as very informative. He was extremely friendly as well. We booked last minute and he accommodated us picking us up at our hotel . We felt it was reasonably priced for the 3 hours we wanted. Brightside seems to be a well organized tour company with a cool way to see the sights.

You can admire the most important monuments of Barcelona through this unique point of view:on the top of the side car! Our family (2 adults & 2 11-year old kids) had the best experience with BrightSide Tours to start our first ever European vacation. Our hotel (Fairmount Juan Carlos I) wasn't exactly close to the City Center but Tarek and Giorgio picked us up right on time. They both are extremely knowledgeable about Barcelona and were not rattled the slightest when it started raining on us. They were more than happy to park under a cover for a bit or continue the tour with rain gear that they provided. We opted for the latter and enjoyed touring the wide avenues and small side streets in each of the various districts of Barcelona. I'd highly recommend booking with Tarek and Giorgio as they were highly energetic, witty and informative throughout our tour!

2 seniors with 19 years old granddaughter, we had a fantastic time with our two guides, Matt (Mateo) and Tarek. They took us to see the the sights from their perspective, where very informative, shared their knowledge of this beautiful city - Barcelona. They more than earned their days pay, they made our tour a different enjoyable experience. We were skeptical about riding the bikes, specially after seeing the tremendous number of bikes in town. But soon after the tour started we were very at ease, just enjoying the sights, and their explanations. Their English was very good, and the equipment - helmets with listening devices -worked great. We would recommend this tour to all teen and up. Thank you Tarek and Matt for the good recommendations for lunch, Flamenco show at Palau Dalmases was great, and dinner at tapas modern Llamber was exquisite. Have already passes your names to friends, two which have booked upcoming tours.

My family and I took a 4 hour tour of Barcelona with Tarek and Manu. It was certainly a highlight of our trip to Spain! Both guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We booked our tour for our first full day in Barcelona and it was SO worth it. Giorgio took us through the entire city, showing us sites, neighborhoods and restaurants to visit, and a fabulous view of the city from above. The helmets with built-in sound and microphones were an amazing touch. Giorgio gave us insight into the city and great info as we passed each landmark or area. This was especially good to do early in our trip because we got a real lay of the land and understanding of where else to visit later in our trip. The tour was great and Giorgio was AMAZING. If you get a chance to request a specific tour guide I highly recommend asking for him by name. To top it all off, Giorgio dropped us off near a local restaurant he recommended for lunch after our tour was over, La Puntual. We loved it so much we went back again later in the week. Book this tour, you will not be disappointed!

First, our drivers/tour guides - Joao and Tarek - were fantastic! Our family of four (1 teen/1 college age) were interested in seeing the city in a different way and we were not disappointed. The motorcycles and side cars were very comfortable allowing us to cover a lot of ground while being able to take time at the spots we wanted to explore. The intercom system within the helmets really helped. We felt very safe as we drove throughout Barcelona learning the history of this wonderful city. The tour began with a very informative description of how Barcelona evolved overtime, setting the stage for what we were going to see during our tour. Both guides were very knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and gave us great insight into Catalonian culture. For my birthday I was given a tour of Barcelona in the evening. So far so good 😊 The big surprise, however, was experiencing the tour on a motorcycle with a sidecar 😎 Getting to know this city in this way is more than special. We were also lucky that the founder and boss drove us himself. João is very knowledgeable, humorous and super flexible. We can recommend this tour completely and without reservation.
