Calella has a lot of food places that feel all the same or unclean. This had the best steaks I've eaten, and for 14eruos, you can't go wrong. The service was great and the food was excellent. The only problem is that the menu feels like part of 4 different places.

We ordered pizza in this restaurant, so i can only talk about this experience. I can tell you that this is easily in my top 5 pizza i have ever ate in my life. Pizza proscuitto xxl portion, recommendation.

It's right on the street and surprisingly had a queue all the time so we tried it when the queue was not super long. The pulpo quality was good but the amount was very misleading. The other thing was much better and tasted really good as well. We also had the paella but we have had better paella at other places. Would have rated 3.5. Nevertheless, worth a try.

It is at the end of the main shopping street in Calella, like three streets above the beach. However, it is very crowded and people wait in the line to get the table. I do understand why, because the food is good (got great paella), prices are the same or below other restaurants in the city and stuff is friendly (especially one elder guy who is singing all the time :)). Also you don't have to wait so long as I did in several other restaurants (generally, in Spain, I had to wait for the order for a very long time compared to my country). I need to try other restaurants and bars in here but in case of another stay in Calella, I would definitely visit La Riera again.

We've been here like 4-5 times and every time we had nothing but most delicious food and super efficient service! On number of occasions we had to wait in the queue but we knew it's worth it! All of the food was outstanding (other than the chips which were ok to good) clean plates all round! Well worth the money! If it were closer to home I would definitely be returning.
