Wonderful dinner on the patio at Teddy’s By The Sea in beautiful Carpinteria! This place KNOWS fresh seafood!! I had the special, Puttanesca Sea bass - which was delicious!! My partner had the Dijon Mustard Salmon grilled on top of a maple cedar plank - equally delicious! Not only was the food wonderful, so was the friendly atmosphere and service! Definitely recommend and will be back!

Everything we had was amazing! Shrimp and grits, fish tacos, side salad and homemade chips with caramelized onions and bacon dip and blue cheese dip. Drinks were on point!! Can't wait to go back!

The atmosphere is lovely here. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered their Boston clam chowder, fish tacos and tavern burger. The beer batter fish was a bit on the smaller side, it was very little fish and more batter than I would’ve liked. Overall the other dishes were great. Boston clam chowder was great, we didn’t even get a chance to take a photo.

I enjoyed having dinner at Teddy 's. The food is excellent and made to perfection. I recommend trying their signature seared sesame ahi tuna dish. It was recommended to me by our waitress and I wasn't disappointed. Service was great and we had a great time.

Driving thru the charming downtown of Carpinteria looking for a late lunch we came upon Teddy’s where we were greeted by Andrew. We were seated on the large outside patio with heaters to take off the chill in the air. We started with the Ahi Poke Nachos which which were sweet and tasty. The Diva went with the grass fed beef burger which she said was delicious! I believe her, because usually she gives me half of her burger, but not this time! The sweet potato fries had just the right amount of crispness and salt. I went with the batter dipped, deep fried fish tacos which were scrumptious and rated right up there with my favorite fish tacos that I used to get at Kelly’s French Bakery in Santa Cruz, before they closed the restaurant part of their business. I washed it all down with an ice cold pint of Firestone 805 Blonde Ale on tap. Our waiter, Andrew, was top notch! He not only got a nice tip, but I left him with an ice cold bottle of my favorite beer, Allagash Brewing White Ale.

Was on a Saturday drive with my fiance and stopped here for lunch. What a treat! We shared the ceviche which was very fresh and tasty! I ordered the mai Tai and it lasted me the entire meal. Good drink! I had the cioppino and it was delicious and very generous. Great broth and lots of yummy shrimp! He had the fish and chips and it looked great! Was delicious her said. Glad we stopped here!

The vibes, atmosphere and service are on point. Staff are friendly, fast, and efficient. I was looking forward to the crispy Alaskan fish tacos. They were served with a delicious sauce 🤤 however, that was the saving grace for these tacos. Even with the toppings, they were bland, lacking flavor, and were a pain to eat. The spicy salsa made them possible to eat. The strawberry jalapeno margarita was a freaking icon. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thus, I'd recommend not to order the crispy Alaskan fish tacos. Perhaps the grilled tacos are more flavorful. Oh and the cauliflower wings are ❤️🙏 they were so freaking delicious. Must have if you are stopping by.

Teddy's had plenty of parking. The majority of the seating I saw was outside on the front patio. The place appears neat and well kept. They were busy but still service was great and we did not wait long for our food and drinks. We had the guacamole and chips, which was great. My wife ordered the battered fish tacos and I got the salmon tacos so that we could try one of each. The serving size was just about perfect. For me, I liked the battered fish tacos better, but both were great. They offer chips or fries as a side, I thought the chips were better. For dessert we split a Key Lime pie which was absolutely fantastic. In all we were out the door with appetizer, dinner, and dessert for about $30 per person plus tip. We'll definitely come back again when we're in town.
