We
picked
this
hotel
because
we
had
heard
good
things
about
it
and
it
is
near
the
Polícia
Federal.
The
staff
were
all
very
friendly.
The
soaps
provided
in
the
room
are
locally
made
in
Alter
do
Chão
and
are
biodegradable
and
environmentally
friendly.
They
use
these
soaps
due
to
the
hotels
proximity
to
the
river
and
wanting
to
care
for
it.
This
is
a
nice
hotel.
It
is
older,
but
the
rooms
are
the
largest
rooms
we
have
ever
experienced
in
a
hotel
in
Brazil.
The
pool
is
the
largest
and
nicest
we've
swam
in
in
Brazil.
Some
sheets
and
towels
had
stains
on
them.
If
you
want
a
blanket
for
your
bed
you
will
need
to
pay
extra.
We
kept
asking
for
two
blankets
and
they
kept
telling
us
they'd
send
them
up
shortly.
After
asking
for
the
third
or
fourth
time
they
admitted
they
were
out
of
blankets.
The
finally
found
two,
but
I
shouldn't
have
had
to
ask
multiple
times.
The
pool
is
very
nice
and
they
have
a
small
kids
pool
that
isn't
as
clean
but
our
2
year
old
loved.
We
had
two
rooms
that
were
adjoining
but
the
door
was
locked
and
they
claimed
they
couldn't
find
the
key.
Given
the
whole
blanket
debacle
I'm
not
sure
what
was
going
on
with
the
door.
If
they
could
have
opened
it
we
would
have
stayed
another
night
or
two.
We
have
no
opion
on
breakfast
because
while
there
were
multiple
signs
saying
mask
were
required
to
get
food
from
the
buffet,
no
guests
were
doing
so
and
the
hotel
staff
wouldn't
enforce
it.
Hotel
staff
did
all
wear
masks.
The
restaurant
staff
did
not.
In
fact
I
only
ever
saw
one
restaraunt
employee
in
a
masks
the
whole
time.
Parking
is
pretty
limited.
We
got
there
pretty
early
on
Thursday
and
had
no
problem
finding
parking.
I
doubt
we
would
have
found
any
parking
Friday
night.
The
balconies
of
both
rooms
we
stayed
in
had
hooks
to
hang
a
hammock.
We
had
one
in
the
car
so
I
strung
it
up.
A
downside
to
the
balconies
is
that
we
couldn't
lock
the
sliding
glass
door
leading
to
the
balcony
for
either
room.
I
wasn't
worried
about
theft
since
we
were
on
the
2nd
floor
(what
would
be
the
3rd
floor
in
the
US),
but
when
you
have
a
two-year
old
who
wants
to
climb
on
the
balcony
it
would
be
safer
to
lock.
We
stayed
two
nights
and
never
saw
cleaning
service.
No
idea
why.
That
was
a
disappointment.
The
hotel
is
pet
friendly
and
we
saw
multiple
small
dogs.
Overall
the
hotel
was
nice
and
we
enjoyed
staying
there.
We
will
probably
stay
there
again
the
next
time
we
are
in
Santarem.
We
will
definitely
plan
for
it
to
be
during
the
week
though
as
it
got
pretty
busy
by
Friday
night
and
people
weren't
great
about
wearing
masks
and
giving
space
during
a
pandemic.
