Hospital is very clean, staff are really good very kind nd caring. No need to bother if u hv been for the 1st time. Doctors are very concerned. And have made using sanitizer nd mask compulsory 👏.

If surgery recommended by the doctor, take second opinion. Because this hospital mostly prefer surgery. Surgery should be last resort. So always take a second opinion before opting for surgery. Also ask properly how much vision you will be gaining after surgery I context of catract, always check whether the eye nerve are in good condition. And check whether your eyes are aligned properly. If there is any alignment issue. Only do surgery for the primary eye not the squint eye.

Worst experience in this hospital ., especially this is a commission oriented money making hospital ., they just nicely rob the patient money in the manner of scanning., surgery etc., they just set the PRASAD NETRALAYA as brand and the doctors what they have listed will not be there at any time and now hospital staff , lab technicians are the real doctors now😄 for that they charged 450rs as Dr. Consultation charges and for pentacam scanning they have charged around 2500 rs and after that they were told to wait for 1hrs ( i already taken prior appointment but not use here)., this is too horrible., so my sincere advice is not to prefer this hospital🙏🏽

One of the Best Eye Hospital in South Canara. I had corrected my refractive error in Prasad Netralaya. Staffs are highly cooperative. Suman Ma'am guided throughout the Lasik Process and explained the process in Detail. Dr. Aparna is so kind and took care of whole Lasik surgery. Moreover, they treat every patient same and give the right information.

I did my Smile Relex surgery (Lasik bladeless) here by Dr. aparna... She is experienced and quite a good one, (and bad when you don't co-operate during surgery).. It's been a week, My vision is very clear... I was a bit uncooperative during surgery (not purposely though), But she handled it very well... It was a good experience.. Also the counselor Suman follows up time to time.. 👌🏻

My wife was detected to have swelling and bleeding in retina. The doctor prescribed 3 injuctions costing 54000 to clear a block in the throat supposed to be causing the problem. Cofusing. So l said good bye to prasad netralaya and visited netrajyoti mangalore, the best for eye problems, where my wife could get right treatment and could save her eyes. Bye bye prasad netralaya. To add more 12.11.23 In fact the doctor presumed the blockage in the throat and without confirming prescribed injuctions. We had garotid dopler test at scs hospital mangalore, as suggested by dr shripathi kamsth and foumd every thing normal. At netrajyoti doctor suggested not to go for injuction and he did immediate laser treatment for retina and saved the eyes. Otherwise by now my wife would have lost har one eye. Doctors at prasad put you into panic and give you highly expensive injuctions.

Testing is good, but price you quoted for normal spects is too too high, In that price i purchased crizzol 360 lens with frame. Please don't quote High prices that customer might not come again

A very good experience at this hospital in udupi... My mother got her cataract surgery from here... Dr Paresh was very kind and proffessional.... Not to forget ms swarna also for all the help...What i liked the best in this hospital was the kind behaviour of the staff as compared to other hospitals nearby... in some hospital security and other staff behave as if patients come to hospital for time pass... Overall a good exprnce....

I had undergone SMILE surgery ( advanced Laser vision correction ) for my eyes here. Dr Aparna is very knowledgable and good. Suman helps in consultation and all other steps from start to end. Very good results.

I would not not recommend this prasad netralaya hospital for any major eye treatment such as keratoconus and doing C3R here... I did C3R treatment here.... Before doing the surgery it was told to me that your pentacam scanning is free from now as you have done C3R here.. and now when I went for scanning there to see is everything ok.. They told ne you have to pay Rs. 2500 for scan in pentacam. which in Bangalore cost me just 700.. Big liers as staaf tries to make commissions a time... Staffs main mission is to earn commissions.. Poor Experience..

The entire team at Prasad Netralaya was exceptional in their care and service. My father underwent 2 eye cataract surgeries and is extremely satisfied with the treatment he received. This was a complicated issue that was initially diagnosed by Dr. Sudarshan at the Thirthahalli branch. He identified the problem and suggested that we meet with Dr. Paresh, who proved to be the best doctor to handle this issue. Our experience with the Udupi branch was also wonderful; their charges were very reasonable for the service and care they provided. Just one advice for old age people who is not comfortable in Kannada they should communicate with local language ( tulu , Konkani etc)

The consultation service is faster compared to any other hospitals though there visits lots of patients. But I felt that they can reduce time and make some procedures faster and don't let patients wait for long.

Dr. Paresh Poojary was handling my grandfather's traetment and he was very good in explaining the issue and in his work.
