Decent place with delicious food and nominal prices. The staff were happy to get a custom salad though not on the menu despite the place being busy with long queues to get in. Arriving a little earlier than the dinner time seems to be the trick to avoid a queue. Recommend : show a multilingual menu... It is more like £ rather than ££

Very pleasantly surprised. Looked like a typical mediocre tapas bar, but went on a friend’s recommendation and it was amazing. Quick service and great dishes… exactly the kind of quick lunch break we were looking for. Mussels in “escabeche” were particularly tasty.

Stopped in and staff was very helpful. We were seated promptly at 7ish for a light dinner. Ordered scallops, fried calamari and potatoes . Husband ordered a beer and I had had water. The food was hot, the staff spoke English which was a plus. A good experience.

This tapas restaurant looks quite impressive from out the door, that is why we had to stop here for a quick bite in the famous street Rústico do Franco in the very center of Santiago. The most catching tapas are the scallops (zamburiñas) which come in their shelf, and we absolutely loved!! Very very tasty, and they come five in one order and it costs around 13 euros, so I guess it’s reasonable for a quite expensive dish. If you walk around the area you can find 6euros a piece. Just for this dish I think they deserve a 5 stars!

It was OK. If you don't know how to order Tapas it can be daunting. Staff are helpful as they can, but too rushed and you get your order in dribs and drabs. Quite expensive and a tip is added to the bill for you without asking, so beware leaving a tip at the table, it's automatically included. Glad I tried it, but once was enough.

Mostly excellent food, but the Pan con tomate, was cold, have had better versions in Barcelona at Cal Pep. Mushrooms were good. The scallop w/ prawns was garlicky & delicious w/ their crunchy finishing-salt. Smoked Salmon tapa was also good, as was the house tinto 🍷. The tortilla needed some seasoning.

Very Cheap. You can get a nice amount of regular quality food for a small price.

The restaurant was reccomended by a friend and didn't disappoint. Situated in the "old town" part of Santiago, it's very close to the Cathedral making it the perfect place for lunch. It also opens at 11.30 AM, much earlier than most of the other good places to eat.

Place is nice though their AC was not working and it was super hot inside the restaurant. Had tapas including tortilla de patata, pan fried mushrooms, crocanti de Brie, Pulpo feira, calamares and postre de lo bispo with some wine. Food is pretty good and staff is nice. Worth a try.

We came here twice during our stay and can 100% recommend this place. The food was delicious! Price quality relation is really good. The service is fast and friendly, the ambiente beautiful!! A total gem in the middle of the pedestrian zone.

Ate here 3 times when I was in Santiago De Compostela. The variety is great, seafood is fresh and delicious. Try the grilled scallops and prawns. And there's something quite special, brie cheese coated with nuts and then deep fried, draped in a sweet berry sauce, super delicious 😋.

There was only 4 people, I sat at the table for free, and even the place is big and was empty I was asked to sit somewhere else, which was rude as place was really empty. I had pimientos de padron, which tasted okay, however vino de casa was cheap taste.

Good food and cosy space. Unfortunate doesn't accept reservations, so you either need to come early or wait. And there are a lot of people in the town, especially on the weekend.

An amazing tapas bar with ao many mouth watering options. It had a really great atmosphere with lots of locals, not just tourists. It was a little pricey, but you are paying for good quality food.

Just delicious! Totally recommended! Specially the montadito crocanti

Popped in for a quick beer and tapas, the place is slightly upmarket decorated, staff all wear traditional uniforms and the bar counter is teaming with choices of delicious looking food. We had anchovy pepper stuffed with who knows what, tasted of nothing, a Russian salad - can't go wrong usually but tasted mostly of potato, and a chorizo dish - looked amazing but was again, tasteless and dry as hell. Expected a lot more but the beer was good

Waiters are good, food nothing special. We got tortillas and pulpo a feira. Cons: food portions are RIDICULOUS. We paid 14€ for a portion of octopus, that is a little wooden plate with 4 slides of boiled patatoes and some pieces of octopus. Come on! 14€ !

Was very busy, but quickly got a table. Second time we have been here and the food, wine and service was exceptional., at a good price! Both visits were for lunch so next time we are in Santiago we will defiantly come for a bigger dinner.

Excellent food and varied offer. Great price. Only negative was excessive waiting time for 2 dishes we later added to our order, some 20mins

Amazing food and service. The place aaa packed when we arrived. We were on waitlist for about 10 minutes only. All the dishes we had were great - frito prawns, Pedron peppers, scallops. Anchovies and tomato salad. The local Rioja wine was also excellent. For desert we had the cheesecake with crème brûlée which was off the charts delicious. Highly recommend Ps: our experience was made more memorable as we met a few Aussie travelers at the restaurant

Good place for some tapas. Kind of expensive but not bad portions. IMO

Fabulous spot. We were looked after by a man who was so helpful and explained the different tapas to us. Food was delicious and quite reasonable. Atmosphere great. Would love to go back again.

Best tapas bar in town. Food tastes great. Went early and bar had 2 open seats. The Pulpo (octopus), zamburiñas with shrimp, and Brie with almond and blueberry were divine. Look for Effren, amazing guy and made the best sangria. Highly recommend this place.
