Seems like it was good in the past but has gone downhill. Low quality, trying to feed as many as possible to turn a quick profit. Better value is available elsewhere in the Old City

Stopped in for some Caldo Gallego (galacian soup) and they didn’t disappoint! Generous portion and it filled me up- with bread and water included for the 5 euros. Brimming with pilgrims and a staff who is friendly and works well together to provide good service. Recommended!

Excellent meal of the day at a reasonable price. Good vino de casa too!

The best restaurant for a pilgrim. The food is delicious and served in big portions, the service is fast and the waiters are very nice. The menu (13€) includes 2 dishes, bread, bottled water, desert or coffee, available for both lunch and dinner. We ate there 3 times for the entire day and half we stayed in Santiago de Compostela. If we could, we would have eaten there more times. All the different dishes we tried were amazing. There is a waiting time to enter the cafe, between 20min and 40min but its compensated by the fast service. It's a must go for everyone who visits Santiago de Compostela.

Very famous pilgrims menu in Santiago, wa recommended by a fellow pilgrim to me an it was good. I am vegetarian and the added a new main dish for us tofu burger, which was big an good. Portions are big as well and the service is nice, they just could bring the servings of all together. My parents had already aten their first serving and mine was still not done. And the restaurant was almost empty because of low season. Desserts were good as well.

If you come to Santiago, you must try the food and here is the best place to do so! We went here right after finishing our Camino, and it was very memorable. The food here is very tasty and fulfilling. Both the appetizer and the main dish were great. The environment and the service were also warm and inviting.

A nice food overall, friendly waiters and quick service. Prices reasonable and affordable for pilgrims as well! 8,6/10

Our go to lunch stop in Santiago. Busy, hectic, and not a place to linger, but a large menu, friendly staff, good food and still a great price. 13euro for 3 courses, water and bread.

What a pleasant surprise in Santiago de Compostela. Very good food at very reasonable prices. The wine on offer was to die for too. My friends rocommended it. There was a 15 pax que on arrival which indicates its popularity. And the service was excellent.

This was some of the worst food I've ever had, anywhere! I think they must benefit solely from passing trade, so they probably don't rely on reviews, and definitely not on repeat custom. I can't recommend a single dish from each of our three courses. In addition, the service was terrible, the waiter so rude. To make matters worse, on a windy day the large umbrellas outside were blowing over, close to injuring many of the diners - and this experience was definitely not worth almost ending up in hospital for!

The service was way too fast and kind of rude. We barely finished one plate we were already receiving the next one. Salad had taste of chlorine and the food was nothing exceptional considering the other options on Santiago. The place is very loud and we noticed that the Tarta is kept close to cleaning facilities without any care. Kudos to the receptionist who is very organized and kind.

Best place for pilgrims' reunion! Foods and drinks are nice. But you need to wait for a long time if you visit peak hours such as lunch time.

For €12,5 you get 2 courses, water, bread and dessert. The Russian salad portion is normal size, while Galician broth or pork knuckle are just huge. Good choice for trying Galician food.

Best service in all of Santiago. I ordered the pimientos and salmon. The fish was a little dry but the peppers were great. Lots of fried potatoes per usual camino fare. For the price this is one of the best deals in town. The waitress was helpful and spoke English.

The food is good and the place looks amazing. The only bad thing is that it's too popular, therefore they're always in a rush.

Muy bueno. Super super super good value for the 12 euros incredible, probabaly best value in the city and a good ambience in the restaraunt.

Best piligrim menu, price-quality-quantity and very friendly service. Best part is that they are pet friendly. I recommend it with no doubts.

I suggest you to go to "Casa Manolo". They have a pilgrim's menu for just 12,50€. Quite affordable compared to other pilgrim's menus. Delicious food and professional staff. You have a wide choice of fish and meat. But if you fancy something tasty , you should definitely go there! 😊 I went there twice in a few days.

✔ Fast, great service. ✔ Tasty food, specially the Sopa Gallega! Book in advance and be really punctual or you might lose your spot!

Big portions, very average food! The portions are quite generous and the daily menu costs 10 €. My brother had the sole which was full of water, meaning it must have been frozen and didn't taste good. I had the grilled chicken as second dish which was reasonably ok. As first dish I ate the lentil soup which was quite big but lacked seasoning. In addition, some waiters were a bit moody/unfriendly that day and it took them 20min to bring us the beer we had ordered. Don't really understand why people bother queuing up for this place.

Very expensive. Wine is not included with the menu and they don't make that clear... The food is not good. Dessert was dry and awful

Decent food at a reasonable price. The inside is a bit functional but there is a queue to get in when it opens at 1pm - that's always a good sign. Many pilgrims make there way here for decent, honest food.

Amazing food. Enormous portions. Very reasonable price. Good, prompt service. No wonder there’s a queue to get a table!

Lentil soup was the best for me because they use less sodium. Portions are huge and inexpensive. I have been twice in a 2 days in a row. I think you should try at least once. Good staff!
