Had stayed here multiple times before and was touring. Came to use the bathroom and the manager started screaming at my dad who was waiting outside for me. Said I had no right to use his bathroom. Had given the place a high review on Tripadvisor before but now I highly regret it.

A well sought-after hostel due to it's great location, it's amenities, cleanliness and above-all, the professional, courteous, friendly, helpful and thoughtful staff who are second-to-none. Albergue SQC provides everything you need - breakfast, sheets, blankets, towel, the best hot showers around, hair dryer, full laundry and drying room, full kitchen, dining space and great wifi connections. Don't hesitate to book in advance!

The albergue is modern, clean, and comfortable. The hosts, Miguel and Augusto, are the superstars that make all the difference. They are super welcoming and make you feel at home. They make sure you have everything you need, from clean towels, to recommendations of places to eat. Breakfast and snacks are included in the price. There’s even soy milk for vegans! Location is a bit off the historic center but it’s a quiet neighborhood, which is great for a good night rest. Would definitely stay there again!

My friend and I stayed in this lovely albergue after completing our Camino and it was a great stay; Miguel was a super host, gave us 2 beds in the ladies dormitory since there was enough space; the entire place is super clean, separate bathrooms, generous sitting area with complimentary coffee, tea, fruit and sweets. I also loved the aromatherapy essential oils that were diffused giving a unique touch to this cozy place. Totally recommend it especially that it is located in a quiet area but still a walking distance from the old town and the cathedral.

The best hostel in Santiago! The welcome was great, the hostel itself is new, modern, clean. Bed are very comfortable, toilet and shower are spacious, handy and clean. The kitchen and dining area are big, breakfast has everything you need. Really a great hostel! But I recommend it in particular for the efficiency and the welcoming of the staff. On top of everything, good chatter, the best!

Very nice! The host was very nice! The vice of this place is super. The bus station to the airport is very close. Fully equipped kitchen and breakfast was very nice. The breakfast options are toast, mini croissants, and mini muffins. Orange juices, soy milk, and lactose free milk are always in the refrigerator.

We were very lucky to get the last 3 beds available having not booked in advance and arriving on a Sunday! The manager was great, friendly and welcoming and clearly busy, but went out of his way to arrange our bed spaces. This albergue is clean and bright with comfortable bunks. Each one comes with sheets, pillow and a duvet plus a locker to keep back packs. Slept extremely well here, I recommend this place when finishing the camino, but advise to book first.

Wonderful place to stay. 13€ (03/2020) Breakfast included. The host is a really lovely guy, motivated and welcomed us with a glass of juice. Just a small gesture, but shows you that he cares. 8 double bunks, split by a wall. No entrance or exit limits at night. Cozy place, good mattress, towel, blankets and sheets are offered. Really clean and friendly

👍👍 Definitely worth trying theirs tortilla! They offer it here just as a side dish with every drink you ask, even water. Prices are not low here but also not high, it serves just normal dishes you can find in other places. The interior of the restaurant wasn't cosy as for me, tables and chairs are too...
