La habitación es enorme, casi una casa, pero con cocina, barra americana, dos camas separadas muy grandes, baño... Etc. Esta totalmente nueva. La limpieza y la ubicación fueron perfectas. Además tienen una terraza con unas vistas espectaculares a toda la bahía. Y los anfitriones son super amables y excelentes personas, un 10.gracias.

One of my favorite hostals in all Cuba! I loved staying in Ivan’s beautiful home for two weeks! I had a leg injury and his family took care of me as if I was one of their own! The apartment is BEAUTIFUL, absolutely brand new, with a terrace with a spectacular view over the bay of Santiago. The apartment also had a kitchen, which me and my boyfriend found extremely practical! The apartment is in a great neighborhood, close to everything, in an area of Santiago where you can connect with the santiagueros, where you can live like a cuban! What I mostly enjoyed about the apartment is that at the same time I had both privacy, and the warmth of a family taking care of me. Ivan and his family live downstairs, so you have a total feeling of independency, and at the same time company if needed and wanted! Well..actually, to be honest, what I really enjoyed the most was the cute smile of Ivan’s adorable daughter! She was so so sweet! And I had the honor to be there when his third baby was born, and to share this special moment with him and his lovely wife and family. I will miss them all! I cannot recommend this hostal enough and I hope to be back one day! FIVE STARS!!

La casa está en perfecta posición . Los cuartos están impecables , muy lindos y grandes . El desayuno se disfruta muchísimo pues la vista es preciosa .En su 3er nivel tiene un balcón en el cual se puede observar todo Santiago , es precioso y la atención es maravillosa .

Hostal acogedor altamente renovado. Habitación espaciosa con su baño, frigorífico y cocina incluidos dentro. Los desayunos en su terracita, buenísimos. Repetiremos si volvemos a Cuba.

I have spent 1 week at Hostal Paradiso and it was by far the most modern place I stayed at in Cuba. The room has very comfortable beds, beautiful private balcony and a kitchen. Also the air conditioning worked great and it was very quiet, something still fairly rare in Cuba. The host seems to be reinvesting the money in his property, instead of spending it, which is great, as the house has a very modern feeling. The breakfast served in the morning was absolutely amazing and also a good way to start a day with something healthy :) At last, the location was super convenient, close to Parque Cespedes as well as Malecon. If I ever come back to Cuba, this would be my first choice in Santiago for sure.

To stay at Hostal Paradiso has been a really nice experience. On our arrival Iván (the host) offered to pick us up and that was only the start of how helpful he has been. He suggested different activities which were really interesting to us as well as helping out with smaller issues such as f ex, phone calls. Actually, everyone in his family was really nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean and the view from the small balcony added something extra. To have an excellent breakfast looking over the water was nice. If I’ll return to Santiago again this is where I’ll stay!

Wow! This is my third visit to Santiago de Cuba and I wish I found this place before. These are premium suites, not rooms big enough for one person only. Premium air conditioning that properly controls room temperature without the noise. The view of the harbour is the best, not obstructed. The hosts Ivan and Yuliana are both professionals. Ivan a mechanical engineer and Yulianna a doctor of medicine. Ivan was born and raised in Santiago de Cuba. He knows everyone so anything you are looking he will know the best people. They make you feel like you are part of the family. I asked about laundry, Ivan was proud to show me his new washing machine. The charge for my small load was $5. Nice! I can't say enough, the best place in Cuba I have stayed. I have traveled all over Cuba, La Bajada to Barcelona.
