👍👍 A little treasure we stumbled upon in Santiago de Cuba. After struggling with Cuban's current lack of service culture all the way from west to east, we came to this eastern Cuban little gem where good service and lots of human warmth is guaranteed. The place doesn't hint at all what it conceals be... People often mention Cuban, main, Santiago, Cuba, terrace,

This lovely inn is only 4 min walk from main square Céspedes park in downtown Santiago de Cuba, where peace and quiet is assured and getting everywhere in no time is virtually possible. Close enough to the action: bars, clubs, restaurants, cinemas, shops, banks, ATM's and landmarks, and yet very calm. One asset of this place is obviously the charming, greenery-draped terrace that overlooks the harbour and the mountains, where the food served is traditional, fresh, organic and simply to die for in a city with a gastronomic landscape that's rather close to uninspiring. We enjoyed romantic dinners while watching beautiful sunsets and listening to Cuban music. We were served by the most friendly staff we encountered during our trip around Cuba, real people who make you feel you're the most important person in the world. Highly recommended.

A little treasure we stumbled upon in Santiago de Cuba. After struggling with Cuban's current lack of service culture all the way from west to east, we came to this eastern Cuban little gem where good service and lots of human warmth is guaranteed. The place doesn't hint at all what it conceals behind its façade. As you walk in, the first thing to greet you is either the nicest Cuban mama ever. You are welcome into a lobby, which is elegantly decorated and then guided throughout the house up to the fairy-talesque terrace with open skies views, as well we the bay and the mountains. Then you are guided to your room -nicely decorated and comfortable, where rest is assured and Cuban art plays with your imagination. Food is to die for -very traditional, tasty, rich and cooked from fresh always, but most importantly, home-cooked! Try the pork, the seafood, try the vegan options they have and you will not be disappointed. We tried and loved it all. Dinners are served up on the main terrace, with views and settings worth any Instagram photo, especially a sunset. We'd like to thank everyone t Roy's Terrace Inn for making our stay in Santiago de Cuba a memorable one. All the ladies: Keyla, Miriam, Gladys, Osiris, Yolanda. They have been very kind to us. This is undoubtedly a place we would return to, if only for all the human warmth we got from everyone there!!!

This is the best Casa Particular, not only in Santiago de Cuba, but the best ever...! We stayed here for five nights and everything we have to say about the casa the great hosts and the hyper friedly staff are great things, really positive! The Cuban warmth of Roy, Diego and the Cuban mammas melts icebergs. The terraces are a treat! The food amazing, delicious! Location more than right being located at only 4 min from main square Parque Céspedesm and most city attractions. I will return for sure!

My wife and I booked a room at this lovely and central little Inn, just a short and easy walk from main square Cespeses in Santiago de Cuba''s city centre. Everything about this place is warm and honest, from the nicest welcome with fresh and cool juice to the attentive staff who would do everything in their power to serve and please all guests. Both the rooms and public areas are spotless and beautifully decorated. Special mention deserves the main terrace that overlooks the bay and the mountains, where tasty Cuban home-cooked food and continental breakfast are served. Location wise, it is very convenient, as it is within easy walking distance from. The city's main landmarks and places of touristic interest. We recommend it 100%

Unfortunately they did not have a room available when I arrived, but the owner was very friendly and helped me find a nice casa nearby. I had dinner at the roofgarden and it was really good. The view from up there is a plus.

This little casa particular/inn is indeed something special, very well put together, clean and very centrally located (near to almost everywhere). The service is excellent, provided by the most friendliest and most accommodating staff. Evenings are a special chapter themselves, as the casa puts on different clothes and the relaxing and charming terrace becomes this little restaurant for guests and other diners as well, perfect lighting, Cuban traditional music in the background, super yummy traditional home-cooked food and a cool vibe, as lovely Cuban ladies in their 50's serve the meals while singing, humming, smiling. We adore every single thing about this professional casa particular or warm inn, whatever you decide to call it, it will fit. We highly recommend it if you are planning a stay in Santiago de Cuba.

Delicious 'degustation' meal. There's a vegetarian menu option (though no protein ie, eggs or beans).

I just stayed here and it was such a positive experience! Everyone there was fantastic and wonderful to deal with. They helped with suggestions for sightseeing and also arranged to have a taxi pick me up at the airport. The rooms are spotless and super comfortable...and in a very quiet neighborhood yet only a few minutes from the main square. Breakfast gives you a great start to the day with fruit, toast/bread, eggs, fresh juice, and coffee on the beautiful rooftop terrace...with wonderful views of the sea and mountains! At the moment the restaurant is not open, due to difficulty with the food supply. But they had many great suggestion for places to eat. I can't recommend this Casa Particular enough!
