We've been to several restaurants in Santiago, and Saga has thus far, been our favorite. Our server, Yorky, made excellent recommendations and the female singer with a live band gave a wonderful performance. She could actually sing ! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is there is a dress code that apparently only applies to Dominicans not out-of-towners. So, when we arrived we were not properly dressed, so they allowed us to dine in their interior dinning hall. However, there was live music in the patio and my husband wanted to at least check it out. Out first server was nice enough to talk to the manager and explain we we "extranjeros" so they allowed us in thier patio area. Which I personally think the dress code should apply more to the interior hall which looks much more fancy. The patio is lovely. The smell of cigars lightly sprinkles the air if you go on a Wednesday or Friday they have a live band. We are definitely going back, properly dressed this time and I'm looking forward to it.
