Wonderfully designed garden with pool and Paolo works every day to make it even nicer ;-) Bathroom super clean, nice shower, good wifi.

Natalina & Paulo are amongst the kindest hearted souls on this planet. You absolutely must stay with them and will part as friends for life. They are well travelled and adventurous. Hours spent with them pass by as minutes and you’ll gain more than you give. If you like the outdoors, gardening, good food or overland travel, they’re your kind of people.

Paulo and Natalia are the most hospitable and friendly people you can find in this part of Portugal! They are avid travellers themselves (converted an ambulance!) so they know exactly what a tired traveller needs. Amazing garden (Paulo is a professional gardener), two lovely dogs, plenty of space, dozens of travels stories and millions of tips where to go and what to do around the entire of Portugal. If you’re passing by this part of the country - make a stop at Paulo’s place. You can stay in your van or rent a room, take a hot shower or enjoy a bbq and cool garden shades. This is the place to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries (also literally your van batteries :D), before you continue your travels. Just visit here and thank me later!

A very nice place to spend a few days! Beautiful, calm, with excellent hosts and two adorable dogs!! I highlight the rooms, pool and the lounge area in the garden!! I realy recommend!!!

We did not stay here as we already has accommodation but we were welcomed in to empty the black waste and were shown around. Looks like a lovely place to stay with amazing and friendly hosts! We will stay in touch for sure, thank you and merry Christmas 🎉

From the moment you are welcomed by Paulo and Natalina at "A Casa do lago" you feel immediately at home. We actually only wanted to spend 1 night here, but it ended up being 6 nights and it was the best decision. The place is perfect, you have a beautiful garden including a pool that you can use, really good WiFi, new and clean sanitary facilities, a little Gym, many lovely animals and, above all, the most welcoming, nicest and helpful hosts. Paulo gives great information regarding things to do nearby (or even around the world) and Natalina makes the world's best cake :) This stay has greatly enriched our trip and it's certain that we'll be back as soon as possible :)

We had a lovely stay at the marrakesh apartment. The pool is perfect to chill around all day. Paulo and his wife we're very caring and hospitable. We also chose for the breakfast option where we had a lot of food to choose from

It was a surprise for us. We are not used to such familiar, relaxing places to stay with a caravan. And so good looking. The owners are very friendly, and the accommodations are so good, that we wanted to stay more if we could. Thank you Paulo and Natalina!

Natalina and Paulo have a beautiful place here - it is a wonderful spot and perfect for getting to Lisbon. Everything and more than you need - with the bonus of a beautiful garden and pool! We will be back one day! Thank you!

We stayed here with our camper for 3 nights in a calm and cosy location, we picked this as a location to check out Lisbon. The location itself is worth the full 5 stars, but Lina and Paolo really did make it extra because they are the most friendly, warm, caring and helpful people who share their beautiful garden and pool with their guests. 12-15 euro for a Uber to Lisbon is very affordable but Paolo once took us their because he needed to be close for work. When we left Lina shared fresh vegetables from their own garden. We definitely will be back for another visit and I highly recommend people with a mobilhome to go there. Next to this I must share they also have rooms for guests and rent out a basic campervan for surfers!

Very recomended place to stay , the owner Paolo and Lina is a traveller who run this campsite , they know what traveller need , lina invite me for dinner , and paolo is part mechanic part chef and very very helpfull and handy man , hehave a garage with complete tool to fix and rebuilt almost everything ...the shower is clean and nice ...swiming pool is clean ...

Our stay was one of the highlights of our van trip through Portugal and Spain. Paulo and Natalia were very hospitable and we loved using the pool and exploring the town. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

I found the house very beautiful but more beautiful was the soul of the hosts, both husband and wife, they were exceptional. You barely find such people around. You will be treated as guests and not customers. You could see the old camper culture from the 70s when people loved even strangers and money was not the motivation for everything. We had our RV with ourselves so we didn't stay in the rooms, but every other facility we saw was as clean and neat as 5* hotels. Absolut recommendations.

We really enjoyed the warm hearted special place of Paulo and Lina. It’s really nice to relax at their pool & garden as you directly feel home in their cosy place. We loved the energy of this home.
