What a truly magical experience this was!! Everything from the walk through Tlayacapan, which was taken straight out of a movie set, with the local artisan stalls and vendors, to the epic unveiling as you stepped up onto the rooftop terrace was an adventure that simply took your breath away. The hospitality and food at MOMO was delightful and delicious - even things not technically on the menu where handled in style with a quick ATV trip down to the town and served up just a few minutes later 😅😇😋 I simply cannot recommend a visit to MOMO highly enough!!! Ale and her team have created an oasis in an already magical Mexican village. Everything from your taste to your heart is catered to in this delightfully down to earth "restaurant" - I say restaurant with a pinch of himalayan salt because such a word simply does not do this place justice!! A must visit to any food lover, nature lover, traveller & life lover!! 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗

Special place located at the edge between Tlyacapan and the mountains. Beautiful views and sunset. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere💓 Ale, the owner of the place is very open and she organizes trips around the area and many different events! Reach out to her when visiting the place if you want to explore it more

Let me start by saying, what an amazing story, experience and life Ale shares with all her customers. I wish I could post way more pictures but talk about instagram worthy location, drinks, a great way to connect with yourself and also have a bit of a spiritual experience when going up the #tlatuani a very climbable hill beginning by their cafe/bar. Also, the Cocoa coffee was made from REAL cocoa. I seriously recommend you taste the cocoa, at the very least.

We went on a fantastic hike to the Piramides Tlatoani with Alejandra (owner of Cafe Momo - she offers many hiking tours of the area). She is a fantastic tour guide with a deep knowledge of the area, it’s history and flora and fauna. After the hike we had a wonderful time in Cafe Momo with some great food, beers and conversation! A wonderful way to pass a day in Tlayacapan!

Came for a day-trip/hike. Hosts are friendly, welcoming, professional, and easy to get along with. Well worth the trip! By chance I was the only participant for the day and this allowed some extra exploring that might be harder to do with a group, though the guide was very open to new explorations, so don’t be afraid to ask! Guide also had great information on the native history of the area including stories about the people, places and gods. Saw rock carvings, former offering sites, and great views as well as the fascinating pyramid structure itself. Even found some fragments of obsidian after Ali showed me what I was looking for. You might even find an arrowhead! Did not stay in the airBnB but would certainly be open to staying there in the future - great food, clean and cozy, activities to do on site as well as in the local town and the surrounding natural areas.
