    Buyer beware. This hotel is falling apart. There were many unappealing aspects of the facility. It is quite obvious that this hotel is in bad need of a face lift and hasn't had one in a long time. But past that, everything else was as it should have been. We paid for a room to stay overnight and that is what we got. Showers were fine, beds were great, staff was helpful. If you are affected by asthetics and want everything to look nice, this place is not for you. If you can look beyond those things, as we did, the place is fine.

    There was no hot water we could not have a shower that evening or the next morning and we have been travelling all the way from London. Michael the manager informed the maintenance guy in front of me at the Reception and he refused to have a look. * Air condition control unit was broken and we could not control the AC and room was freezing cold. My kids had to sleep with the hoody on and next day, they woke up with a headache and a sore throat. * Bed base had metal sticking out and dirty mark all over. Room was dirty mark and dust all over the floor. * Bathroom tiles need grouting. The door frame coming out of the wall. Taps and shower very old and hand shower did not work. * Light bulb hanging off the ceiling. * 2nd day we were moved to another room. 306 Room was small, smelly and did not have a fridge. * Breakfast was disaster and very minimal. By 9;30am, there was no fruits. we were waiting for them to replenish the items and when we asked the waiter said all finished! Unbelievable! The safe deposit box did not work the both rooms and I had to carry my passport, cash and valuables. I did not feel safe by doing this. When I asked If they have a safe in the Reception and I could leave with them. It was unsuccessful.

    I went for business trip,the price very good,but the room was freezing, u can't stay there,no hot water,the front door very difficult to open with the card.The food at the Restaurant worse.They have some elevator out of order.The casino was OK. No complain I never went to gambling.The followings day, I ask for another room,was a little better I have hot water and I Can control de AC was a very uncomfortable experience.They should do something about This is a very good company but is a shame.I hope they do something about this.

    We stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Princess Santo Domingo for one night while driving from Punta Cana to Puerto Plata. The hotel outdoor pool area was really nice and our waiter was very accommodating. But those two things were the only things that were above average. The room was horrible. I must start with the smell in the hallway leading to the room. It smelled like vomit, urine, and mildew. That was not a promising start. When we got to the room, although the room was large, I slept with my coat on and laid on top of the covers. Why? Well the comforter was stained and had cigarette burns on it. The ceiling had a lot of black mold (see pictures—if I can figure out how to add them. 😀). The draperies were stained, and the room had a very distinct and appalling odor. Bottom line, it was old, outdated, unhealthy, and smelly. Next, the casino was interesting in that they didn’t make change in US dollars and there were only a very few machines that accepted US dollars. It was a lessons learned. Overall, I guess the old adage, “You get what you pay for,” was definitely true in this case. I’ll never be back.

    Casino and pool area are nice. Bar in the pool area and nice seating. But, no microwaves nor refrigerators in the rooms. And toilets/plumbing make weird noises. I’d stay again because it’s good for the price you pay.

    The hotel and casino are very beautiful I enjoyed everything the food is overpriced at the restaurant but it was delicious it was two thousand five hundred pesos for two hamburgers with fries and 3 alcoholic drinks. I could have probably got the same food across the street at one of the local restaurants for half the price but I'm not complaining because I had a good time just letting anyone know that if you go to eat in the restaurant bring at least 3,000 pesos

    if you wanna freeze to death in a mandatory freezer room pick this hotel.there is no option to turn off the AC. small bed. they charge more than what it says on their website. NO INTERNET SIGNAL IN THE ROOM

    Just do not stay there. I went to pick up a friend that was staying there for a night and it was not inviting at all. It was night time and I could see right away how dirty the front desk was. The people were very off putting and unprofessional. Two security guards and the lady at the front desk were standing there eating. And she started talking to me with her mouth full. I needed wifi and the connection was pretty useless. I don't know about the casino since I did not go there for that so did not partake but my friend told me that his room was not good and everything needed to be renovated.

    Their main focus is the casino following by night entertainment in the pool / lounge area. The rooms (I checked 2, yes plural) furniture is functional but look is time for major TLC!. First room external, back, view to pool area and nicer general view but you will hear some of the longe music. The external view is mostly 27 Febrero Ave. On both rooms, the safety box was not working, practically no hot water for the shower. The WiFi has a strong signal but a noticeable latency issue. It will work for Zoom and WhatsApp but may not work to super time sensitive tasks like MFA. It is close to very large place the is practically like a Wallmart at 5 minutes walk. If they improve the room quality, they can easily become a 4+ start. Sadly, their main focus is the nightlife entertainment. The staff is great, friendly. For now, this is about 3 starts.

    It is right on the strip(Which is both good and bad because the traffic can be HORRIBLE at times) and it has a nice pool area but the Jacuzzi didn't get hot.... Room is spacious and clean. Also had a small, but decent, gym. Breakfast was simple but decent. Now for the bad.... The hot water was sometimey but it would eventually get hot. Not much english spoken by staff. When you ask for something that you need like toilet paper, they tell you that you MUST be in the room to receive it. No problem, but sometimes, they guy never came with the paper and I was in there for over 2 hours. The food is on the bad side.... very simplistic, no real presentation to it to at least make it look good. My toilet kept running and it took me going down to the front desk 3 times to finally get it fixed. Bathroom needs to be updated... tub looked rather old. Like you've seen in other reviews, there is some loud music that can be heard from the club. Didn't bother me too much but I'm a rather hard sleeper. I think they staff could have made up for some of the short cummings but they mostly seem very nonchalant and not really keying in on customer service.

    Hotel was semi okay. Don't go to the club on the roof if your American. They charge you to get in and let locals in for free. Then they force you to buy services that no else in the club does. Basically they scam Americans.

    Went to Gold, they tried to overcharge us, even though the place was completely empty, we went to Miami hot instead. Atmosphere was good though and most of the people, very gentle and smart negotiators, I respect that.

    The location of this hotel is near to perfect, just at the bussiest street of StoDgo the Av. 27 Feb! The way from the airport is directly just for 30 min, beside the rush hours of course. The hotel have huge parking lot, you can get your own parking anytime you want and its seams to be safe. The hotel itself has very bad service for overbooked guest, communication at its worst.

    This is an awful hotel. TV worked on 2 channels then there was no remote. There's no telephone in there rooms, you have to use what's app to call the front desk. Sheets felt and looked old. Thank goodness I only stayed for one night. I will not be staying here ever again. Oh lastly... They accused me of taking something from the mini bar. I went off. I took a water and they added two chocolate bars. Keep in mind I don't even eat chocolate.

    Horrible... mold in the bathroom. Phone didn't work. You are only allowed to use the pool as a quest until 6pm.. and only the the pool.. In order to use the Jacuzzi you have to pay $15,000 peso. Which is around $300 dollars. The pool area is designed for clubbing and after hours drinking and party. Wifi.. couldn't connected..it said hotel is full..

    The room was huge, the a/c was great. But had numerous small things that amounted to an overall bad experience. No strong water pressure. No consistent hot water. Breakfast was very limited and consistent. Loud music in the evening's and early mornings. Infact one night some loud young people were trying to open our door. Ordering room service we were charged two different prices for the same bowls of soup. I hate being so critical of the hotel but they need some serious changes if they want repeat customers and better reviews.

    Overall not so bad... Unfortunately the hotel staff was quite busy and they were having some difficulty with their computer system. After waiting for a while, I was given a room. It was surprising that once I reached "our room" there was clothes and other items that apparently belong to someone else. After another 25 minutes, we finally got to another room; it was clean and it had a nice view. In the morning we went for breakfast; the hot food was hot and the cold was cold, great and fresh! Due to Covid-19 the staff actually serve you whatever you want to eat, good strict protocols. Unfortunately when checking out they wanted to charge me double for my room. I showed them my invoice where I had paid in advance but nevertheless they didn't want to accept that and I wasted another hour trying to prove that I was already charged. Other than that the place was clean and staff tried to do the best they could with the resources that they had available. In the future I would give them another opportunity to do better ☆☆☆-
