😐 I'm not sure how I feel about this place. It has old-world charm... and old world amenities. Not up to date. And their advertised pool does not exist. The major and only good point is that it is literally stumbling distance from the big park with all the pigeons and old church. People often mention hotel, room, rooms, good, clean, location, staff, window, breakfast, price,

Room was clean but disappointing due to lack of natural light. When we checked in, we actually got a room with literally no window... So we went back to ask for an alternative. Staff was kind enough to show us another room --but frankly it was frustrating since we had already asked to have somewhat of a nice room to begin with. We picked the alternative room because it had a small window, but it was so high we couldn't even open it! In any case, the location is great so that really helped enjoying our stay.

It takes forever to check in. Sterile rooms. Yes, they are renovated yet it is still sterile and it looks like you’re in a hospital with no windows. Not even in the bathroom. Cheap plastic plants in the lobby with an awful mint fragrance and emerald green everything splashed randomly. The worst- AC is so complicated to adjust. It took 2 people at front desk to finally program it the right way. Too complicated for a hotel room. Took hours to cool. I was told I was going to pay $83 and change and then they charged $92 and change. I made sure to take pictures of the mini bar before I left and told them to check because I had not taken anything out. I check out and got a receipt for $83. 5 days later I see a charge of $92. Unacceptable, did an employee take anything from minibar and then charge me because I wouldn’t notice? Breakfast was also included in the $83. It was less than mediocre. No covid precautions taken in breakfast area. I took a spoonful of the very dry plantains and just left everything. The only good thing was the coffee. I will never stay there again and I go monthly to that area.

I was over there for 14 nights and I don’t like the Custumer services plus they have a Contruccion going on so went you park your car you have issues, went you asking for things you need they change there faces and they trying to charge me for things that I don’t used. And a lot reasons that I’m not going back to that hotel, Hair in top of the bed ect.

Decent Hotel located in a great area in the heart of the Zona Colonial, but parking can be challenging. They do have their own parking at an additional cost but we chose to park in the streets which is known to be a safe area. The rooms looked new, no moldy smell, nothing broken or worn out, Wi-Fi was exceptional, everything you needed was available (desk, mini bar, safe) except Ironing board with Iron. The room looked very clean except for the bathroom. Several things such as toilet and counters need to be wiped down and cleaned a little bit better. The Hotel check-in/check-out staff was very courteous and helpful. The price per night was also very reasonable for what you get.

Great location, some rooms are fine, nothing special in the rooms. Good lobby and elevator. The most beautiful is they rooftop, they have a bar and restaurant there called Sky Europa with an amazing view of the zone.

Welcome to Santo Domingo. This hotel should be your first visit adress: The location of this hotel is perfect for sightseeing of the older part of Santo Domingo, it's just in the centre of Zona Colonial, near to the Plaza de Espana with the best view of the oldest buildings in town Alcazar de Colon with a lot of good restaurants and a crowd of tourists and locals. The breakfast restaurant is on the top of the Hotel, at nivel 5, you have a beautiful view all around the old and new city parts ... it's spectacular! The romantic rooms are small, just for sleeping and shxxxing and watching tv, but the bathroom has a good shower. The Hotel parking is very small, the parking lots are not not spaced enough for the current big cars, SUVs and so on. At night you need share the parking lot with other visitors of the roof top restaurant. The balcon is extra payment, but it's nothing worth. At night they have a roof top restaurant, which alone is worth for visit, very romantic with very good cocktails and drinks.

Nice terrace on the roof, great atmosphere. Excellent location for visiting the old town. Our room was clean but without a window?! Pretty claustrophobic. Pay attention when booking.

For the price we paid, this was an EXCELLENT deal! The room was clean, nice, with a large bathroom, good WIFI, and good AC. The staff was super friendly and helpful - they were able to call a few Taxi's for us which was reliable. The rooftop has a cute bar and nice breakfast for an additional $13 per person which was fair. The room had coffee, water, and a safe box. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION - you are steps away from everything you would want in Santo Domingo. Of course this is not a luxury resort, the room only had one small window in the bathroom (you can upgrade to the balcony room if it matters to you) - BUT for the location, price, and responsive staff you will not find a better deal. 10/10 would go back!

the hotel was small and had no windows which was odd...the location of the hotel was walking distance from a "tourist road" but not in the nicest area and the showers did not have anything to keep the water from running out so our restroom completely flooded. The staff was great.

Location is very convenient close to many nice places. The roof top had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately rooms are outdated and it's not kid friendly. This place is more for couples looking to travel to hang out in the Zona Colonial.

Great hotel, but it doesn't have a gym and doesn't serve either lunch or dinner. My shower had no hot water, just lukewarm.

An excellent location and a reliably clean and safe hotel. The staff speaks enough English to assist English speaking guests. At least one staff member I know speaks French. Two types of room are available. The least expensive is an interior room without a window. The location is perfect for walking to a number of local sites in Zona Colonial. At night the street is relatively quiet and the hotel is quite peaceful. Most exterior rooms overlook random views of the city and are not beautiful, but given the price, it's an excellent choice. The rooftop restaurant serves breakfast, which can be included in the price of the room or bought separately. Breakfast usually consists of three options: American breakfast, Dominican breakfast, European breakfast. The Dominican breakfast is completely local and therefore the most reliable option. Check-in and check-out can take more time than the typical American or Western European hotel. Typically only one staff member works at the front desk.

This is a hotel I will recommend to anyone. It might not look like much from outside, but once you step inside, it turns out to be a very clean hotel with very attentive and helpful staffs.

This is the third time returning to this hotel. Always have had a great experience. So quiet and tranquiló. The new updates are gorgeous and the parking is so convenient. Worth every penny. Decided to stay an extra night because my husband and I absolutely love the colonial zone and for the beauty and price you can’t beat it.

Very centric and near to many restaurants. The WiFi signal doesn't get to the rooms you need to go to the lobby for connection.
