Casa 14 is a nice place to go. It is well located and has a quiet, chill and comfy ambience. It is a good place to have dinner, a date or going out with friends and pets. The food here is quite good and tasty. The menu is quite small but they change it every two months so you have different things to try. The prices are quite low and the portions are ok for a whole meal. Drinks are ok and some are quite random. Good things to try

One of the best alternative places in Dominican Republic. It's an open space which is very nice and cute with all the plants hanging and around like a cozy garden. The drinks are amazing, the food is good and the customer service is excellent.

Love the food and place. Is just cozy. A nice place to have a drink with friends, listen to nice music and the food is just amazing. I ordered Croquetas de Yuca, Green Thau Curry and a Choripan. No complaints at all!

Our dinner at Casa 14 was truly a special experience that is hard to find elsewhere in Santo Domingo. Right away you are meant to feel at home and are received warmly by the staff. The vibe is romantic and relaxing, quiet yet energetic (live music some nights!) and also communal. It's a great place to meet people whether you're visiting by yourself or with family or friends. You can't beat dining al fresco and I loved that it was also pet-friendly! You really feel like you're in a tropical paradise and that all of life's troubles seem to melt away while you're there to just be in the moment and enjoy good company and fantastic food (definitely the best I have had in the DR!) I had the mofongo and mojito but I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. But what I loved most is that you can tell that the owner is committed to supporting the local community and creating a neighborhood space that can be enjoyed just as much by locals as travelers visiting from far away. Don't miss this hidden gem while in the capital, you'll regret it!

Amazing vibe in the backyard, very nice drink and service, super groovy spot to have a chill out night with some friends.

Nice and cozy good for dates, missing one star since they are cash only and most likely when they do it will become very expensive.

Need more fans on the open space, it was too warm
