Great service! Room needed a little updating however the hospitality made up for it. I highly recommend if you want a homely, quiet and inviting environment. It's about 30 min from the US embassy, which can easily be accessed via taxi. Lots of restaurants walking distance.

Breakfast was good, just sit near the front of the room, not the back, and they will bring you food first. Climate control worked really well. You can set it to a temperature. Beds were nice and comfy. If you hang out in the lobby you will get mosquito bites because they get in the front door. Also our kitchen had some sort of leak somewhere that made a constant puddle on the floor.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a trip to Santo Domingo. The only plus of this place is its location, as it's within walking distance to the colonial zone. Other than that, the hotel cannot provide stable hot water for showering, nor does anyone show up on time for the complimentary breakfast. Do more research and find better places please!

My husband and I loved this hotel! we stayed for one week and it was really nice. The staff was really helpful, they helped me calling taxi drivers and explaned to us how to get to some places. Additionally, the supermarket was just three corners away from the hotel where I could get food for the entire week. Also, the train station was just 3 minutes walking, from where I could transport to the main malls of Santo Domingo very easily and come back to the Hotel. I also visited the National Museum of Natural History which is located right in front of the hotel. The room was really clean, and very comfortable bed. I had WiFi in my room. Great!
