😠 Don't go there. They will say, they don't accept credit cards (but actually they do, because when the ATM was not working, they took my credit card) and they make you use the ATM right next to the reception. That adds a big commission. I bet they get their share of the commissions or are not paying... People often mention room, stay, hotel, good, time, staff, rooms, money, clean, pool,

Don't go there. They will say, they don't accept credit cards (but actually they do, because when the ATM was not working, they took my credit card) and they make you use the ATM right next to the reception. That adds a big commission. I bet they get their share of the commissions or are not paying tax on the cash they get. And the ATM won't give you all the money but will take it from your account. And the hotel will leave you alone with this problem. If you are unlucky, you stay next to the elevator, which makes a loud ding ding, every time it passes or stops at your floor, sleeping is almost impossible. But WiFi works best at the elevator, the further away, the worse. Breakfast was quite nice.

Cleaning staff were lazy talking all the time making to much noise while I'm sleeping didn't seem to have any customer service skills and no professionalism maybe this is why they're cleaning rooms in the first place. Complete disaster do not waste your money staff doesn't seem to know who's paying their salaries or maybe they just don't care. I stayed here two weeks was offered only once to clean my room the other time I had to ask several times to get the room cleaned. The chair in my room was broken I asked several times for a new chair was ignored each time also asked several times to fix or replace my Air conditioning remote control was ignored or given a remote control with dead batteries in it. Finally I had to go into another room that was unoccupied and take a Air conditioning remote control that actually worked and also had to go into an unoccupied room to get another chair that wasn't broken. All my requests were ignored even though I paid good money for this room. All the complete idiots working here should be fired immediately. Also tried to get my clothes washed here on my last day they wanted approximately 600 pesos most places do it for about 300 pesos. I declined. Only had a small amount of clothes. Don't waste your money or time.

Super small rooms, like warm water, dated furniture. inexpensive hotel with secure parking.

Comfortable showers, strong aircon and WiFi throughout. Cool tiled floors and large lounge make the hotel elegant but not too pricey.

I arrived on Saturday the 6. So far everything good. All staff have been pleasant. The breakfast very good: I chose mangu, fried eggs sausage. I love the swimming pool area. There are restaurants nearby the hotel. Plenty of private parking. nice to walk during the day alone. At night time is better to have company. Police presence everywhere for safety. Beautiful houses and apartments. I will continue to provide feedback. The room is in accordance with what I paid. I feel relax here. Today is August 14th, I continue to enjoy my stay at this hotel. I want to highlight some of the staff members because their services are outstanding. -LUZAMA keeps my room immaculate clean and provides me towels every day and toiletries. She is very humble and polite. I tip all of them because they always goes the Xtra mile to assist me with my needs. -NINO the swimming pool guy keeps it clean, every day, and he has been very helpful assisting me changing my shower sprayer for a new one, or any bathroom problems if needed. He also provides me information of the area places I wish to go. -MARLENE, and PABLO- the cafeteria crew prepares my delicious breakfast and my sister's every day and fresh coffee. -ALEJANDRO, and SORIANI-Front staff have been very pleasant too. I love this place😀

Location very good, swimming pool area very good. Service was a mixed experience. From pleasant to very rude staff. Check I was poor. One breakfast chef (lady) was very rude. Chef from Venezuela and the other young lady in the kitchen very lovely. Breakfast inconsistent in terms of offering and timings. Room for 4 people never had the correct amount of towels until we asked. Would you stay there again for the prize and swimming pool

It's ok for a cheap city hotel. You really can't ask much of it. Rooms are mostly clean, but in need of some tender, loving care (balcony doors don't open, A/C can be noisy, broken items in the bathroom). But at least the beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and they seem to be doing their best with what they have been given.

The rooms aren't as pleasant as you would be lead to believe. The soap holder broke off on my first shower, the shower is basically a trough (the water will pool to one side, submerging your feet, I don't like this). There were two outlets in my room in inconvenient areas of the room, a foot under the 6ft heigh mounted tv and under the vanity desk. The free breakfast is very basic, a sandwich with eggs and a juice of your choice. But this is the most important piece of information: if you plan on staying at this hotel, be sure you have done your research and know you want to stay here. After the first day, I decided I wanted to leave, the management staff said I was free to do so but I wouldn't get my money back, you will have to pay in full and they will not give you your money back if you wait until the next day. I arrived at 2pm and wanted to change my stay at 8am the next day. You will NOT get your money back and you're forced to pay in cash.

There was no manager reception as a matter a fact the manager was rude. The swimming pool and the rooms were clean. Complimentary breakfast was the same daily very basic and not enough seating, had to wait for table. There were issues during the stay and the manager could care less about resolving anything , apologizing, or offering some type of solution, or compensation.Rooms not as advertised, every guest that rents a room is given the same key to the door, no in- room safe, no front desk safe, no cctv cameras in all the halls leading to some of the rooms. Refrigerator with free bottled water , hair blower, were not there. Elevator broke down during our stay. Toilet and air conditioner broke down, furniture was old, and there were roaches in the room. I do not understand how the reviews can rate the service good . Had to take cab to tourist attractions.

This hotel is basically for an overnight stay or a weekend get away. It have a slight issue with roaches but other than that its okay. The location is a few minutes walking distance away from the shopping area.

I visited Santo Domingo in January for the first time . It was a great experience to stay at Hotel Renacer. The place is kept clean and comfortable. Ramon who is one of the front desk associates went above and beyond to meet my needs. Eric who is the director of the hotel was very outstanding and courteous; he was very helpful and attentive to all my needs. All the staff members made me feel at home. I will definitely stay at Renacer during my next visit to Santo Domingo. I wish there were more options for breakfast. New towels and shower curtains are needed in the bathroom. More television channels need to be added to the list such as English and French since there are multicultural guests at the hotel.

The wi-fi in the rooms didn't work 7 out of 8 day's. No one seemed to be in a hurry to repair or fix anything. The toilet broke on day 2 and wasn't repaired until Day 7. The pool was cloudy and could not be used. The inside restaurant cook kept sending me to the restaurant up the street for food. Nets and fly's were all over the lobby flowers. After a room change I was given a fan because the air conditioner wasn't working. The hotel has 6 floors and I was never offered another room on a different floor. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

So I must say I never booked this hotel I was transferred from hotel conquistador due to no availability after requesting a late check in that they confirmed was accepted if this happens to you please just book a Airbnb close by or somewhere else you have been warned!! Customer service was very bad they obviously were upset and had us waiting about 15-20 mins before they had someone bring us up to a room. The room was in a very nasty condition shower was dirty ground was dirty bathroom overall had a bad smell we had to close the door the whole night everything about the stay was unpleasant do not go !!!
