Service was good two weeks ago when my friends and I were very well dressed, ordered lots of food and tipped well, however when we returned this week in casual clothing we were treated terribly, especially by the waitress/supervisor Kathleen/Katrine. She met us at the door with a very smug and arrogant attitude. Even though we had reservations and specifically requested the spot we were at the week prior; she wouldn’t allow us to sit there for no particular reason even though the tables were empty. On top of that, the other waiter who attended to us was even ruder and basically threw our drinks at us. It’s a shame they’re so classist and judged us on our appearance. The service was so bad we couldn’t eat there, we simply paid for our drinks and left. They will lose a lot of business with their negative attitude. Next time, I hope they will learn to not judge a book by it’s cover. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not be going back. Terrible experience. I will make sure to report this disappointing occurrence to the owner.

Great service, very well made drinks. We particularly enjoyed our sangrias with dry ice - so fun! Very good reservations system, clean and beautiful place.

Very nice restaurant with nice inside and outside space. The Lavacake desert is amazing and the main dishes all look fantastic! Great for food and drinks. Can easily spend 3 hours for a 3 course meal and the staff were never pushy or in a rush. Great experience and given the quality of the food the prices are reasonable. Friday night is a great place to sit outside for a few drinks. Very trendy Friday night spot. Highly recommended!!!

Nice terrace, wonderful food and drinks. The music volume is high and the place gets crowded after dinner, all in all, it deserves a visit if you are in Santo Domingo.

Have been here multiple times going back a few years. Restaurant is beautiful & elegant, and service is always excellent. On this last occasion I would say that the kitchen was a little off point and missing just a little more attention to detail to be top notch.

Omg! Great service , great food. They waited on us like Queens. Loved it.. My egg Benedict was delicious and there New York steak the bomb! Memosa were a hit...

We actually went to Bottega but there was a dress code. Instead of them saying that, they say us outside at Mitre. Mitre is cute, just we had to sit in the humid air with smokers. I would’ve honestly enjoyed it if there was AC or an option to be away from the cigarettes.

The place was amazing. Great food, good service, good wine. They had music and it was so much fun. You can choose if you want to sit outside in the terrace or inside with air conditioner. We sat inside because outside people can smoke and we just didn’t want to be around that. But I definitely recommend this place!

I took my wife to Mitre for her birthday. Best selection ever!!! Flavors are as original as they can be. Fine cuisine at its best!!! Meat cuts were perfectly cooked and the risotto was amazing. The staff has a great attitude. 100% recommended 👌

Great food and service.

Service is slow (typical of island life!), But excellent. We had a large group and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. The food is excellent and they had no problem accommodating special requests. Also very reasonably priced.

First time eating there and food was tasty! I misread the menu and ordered a meal that a friend was deathly allergic to. Yeah... bad. Waiter got the manager and they made my friend a whole new plate that wouldn't killed him if he ate it without issues! Nice seating area inside. Lively one in the evenings outside by the bar for those interested. Would return. ENJOY!

Very nice service. Quasi-outdoor seating was good. We just just had drinks and appetizers but both were very good and the presentation was a nice added touch.
