Absolutely hated this place. And this is a first. Service is HORRIBLE, I had to stand up and go to a server to ask for anything, it took 40min to bring me the food, the flavor was ok (not disgusting but also not good)…also, the food made me sick. I tried to wait patiently, I put on a series and everything to help pass the time, but eventually I had to say I was going to leave for them to bring my food. Mind you, the place was almost completely empty and it’s 12:40pm I should’ve known. Also, I intended to order nachos originally, the waiter said they were out of guacamole (which is understandable, things happen) so I changed the order to the tacos …and then there’s guacamole on the plate? Like miss?? Didn’t you just say…? And HER ATTITUDE, she was being so dismissive like we’re bothering her for coming? Throughout all this, ’m being understanding since I know is not the waiter’s fault that there’s missing ingredients in the kitchen and you know, not creating an issue out of it, but why you have to act this way when we don’t know each other and I haven’t done anything to you? I’m just hungry and I’d like to order some food, you’re literally mad for no reason I never confronted this person. I tend to not write bad reviews as I know it impacts negatively on the businesses and things are hard nowadays after covid, sometimes workers have a bad day as we all do but listen, I WILL NEVER come back.

I guess it’s the DR’s interpretation of “Mexican food.” The nachos tasted like sloppy joes, the corn tortillas were like cardboard. BUT they had some authentic mariachis that were totally legit!

My food was okay; the service was friendly. Don't think I will come back, not my favorite place to have Mexican food in DR.

El Corrido is a nice Mexican restaurant, which you can find in a side street. The menu is of course typical Mexican. The food there was very tasty and came Super fresh on the table. The service was very nice and courteous. They also spoke a little English. So if you like Mexican food, you can come here.

The Salmon Con Arroz and Tacos Al Pastor were fantastic! The salmon was tender and moist. The tacos (3 per order) served on corn tortillas were flavorful and had more meat than expected. Nice little spot of lunch! 18% sales tax and 10% service tip is automatically applied to your final bill.

Excellent food and large portions….it is made not spicy so I asked for salsa picante then it was perfect!

Best Burrito in town……….and I really like another Mexican restaurant in town but the “corrido” burrito with sweet plantain is out of this world! I usually always chose potatoes over plantain but my wife and friend both tried the plantain when I chose the French fries in my burrito and they couldn’t stop bragging so I tried it the second time I came here…….maybe the third, fourth, fifth and sixth time also😂……DEFINITELY MUST TRY! If you like spicy then your in luck they have spicy sauce if you ask and I love it! BTW you should consider sharing one with someone because half is actually a pretty nice size to fill you up! I feel unfaithful writing this review but it’s so good! I noticed a bad review about service and I will say it’s not the best but it’s far from the worst service! 3.5-4 for service out of five would be my fair rating but never below 3.5! Ok on another note they give you some complimentary nachos when you sit down with really bad cheese from a can. I believe this is a Dominican staple, they use them at chimi restaurants, hot dog stands and apparently here for nachos. Definitely absolutely nasty cheese. But please don’t think there is anything nasty that they use in the burrito I recommended! Top notch all the way!

Awesome Mexican Restaurant with great service and spectacular food quality. Highly Recommend the "Burrito El Corrido" & the "Chimichanga El Corrido". Live Mariachi Concert every Wednesday! (8:30PM) I suggest you go early for good seats and to take advantage of the happy hour 🍻 wich starts at 8PM.

Food was great. The drinks not so much. The waiters and waitresses were not showing a happy face.

Excellent spot, very centric. The manger ia very friendly and welcoming. However, the waiter was just talking to his buddy and asked several times what I ordered, did not write down the order. Waitresses are excellent, always smiling. The food was excellent, just to be mindful of overheating the meat, needs to be juicy. The thing that dissapointed me is that I ordered a Frozen Margarita and they say that the "blender was damaged", what?!?!?!

Good drinks and very good Mexican food. It’s a good place to go with groups but not with kids. They have good prices for the amount and quality of their dishes.

I was attracted to this place solely because I was alone and I could sit out overlooking the street and traffic. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the service excellent. I had the melted cheese appetizer, it was made with white cheddar, I loved it. The price was reasonable. I'll go there again when I am back in town.

👍👍 The venue is very cute, the view on the ocean is spectacular. The staff was super friendly this day. The food was really good and arrived extremely fast. I had Mofongo (So delicious) and Sancocho (very good)! The only pros was the dessert.
