One of the worse restaurants I’ve been to. From the service to the food it’s mediocre at best. They act as if it’s a fancy top notch restaurant with strict dress code, but their were several females with vulgar dress codes. Seems like they treat certain people differently. I would never visit this place again when traveling to the Santo Domingo. We are accustomed to visiting fine dining locations here in Alpharetta, GA where we live and everywhere we travel. This place is not up to the level of even chain restaurants such as chilis. The employees do not treat their patrons as other fine dining restaurants do. Overall a huge disappointment even as the price point was lower than placed we usually dine at…it’s still not worth the price. Service, food, establishment itself, and other patrons are not up the fine dining standards. Completely disappointing…the Central Gastranomico it’s a lot better place to dine. Better service and food overall.

Dress code is no dress shorts but had shorts before with no problem . And this is my second time eating here and the food isn't good. The crab cake and dumplings taste like garbage. The seabass and 3 milk cake desert are the only good things . I wouldn't come back here. There are several other better restaurant near by that are less expensive and better food

Elegance at its best no wonder a dress code is required food is amazon the drinks are even better the service is good the attention of the captain Juan Carlos is unique not sure what to order let him order for you won’t be sorry, it’s not cheap, but it’s well worth the price

So far, the best overall dining experience in Santo Domingo: The location, space, menu complexity, service quality, and dish quality, we’re all on point. The dishes were according to the menu description and delicious. Service is responsive, on time, and respectful, and you can choose the environment and ambience better suits you. Restrooms of high end, and the bar and drinks were also on point. The desert was OK, and the price is in agreement with the provided package. Will visit again for sure.

We booked this place. We had a reservation well in advance, about 2 weeks. We arrived for dinner at about 7pm , they tried to seat us outside. We declined and requested a seat inside. The main dining room was empty with a few scattered customers. We were told there wasn’t any availability in the main dining room. Take the info as you wish, this place caters to a specific crowd. Go somewhere else. Don’t even waste your time.

This places is really nice, the hostess was gracious enough to let me sit without a reservation, not without letting me know they have a very strict dress code. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! The music was very nice. There is valet parking. Overall I loved the place, would love to go back.

We were very disappointment in this restaurant. We had reservations with a group to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We reviewed the dress code when getting ready, dressed nicely (girls had long dresses with cutouts, nothing too flashy), and arrived to the restaurant on time. The moment we entered, we were met with disgusted looks by the hostesses and the birthday girl was told she was not allowed in due to her dress. There were other women allowed to enter with similar style outfits, the difference was our friend is more blessed and had more cleavage. This establishment has inconsistent standards and clearly allows in a certain type of clientele. We left and dined at Larimar a block away and had a much better time.

The Peperoni Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic is an Outstanding restaurant all the way The food, the service and the decorations is super professional and well located The cheese and tomato sauce accompanied with the pizza bread separately it is an absolute a new and delicious way of serving pizza ! The tuna tartare was good The chicken wrap was good The focaccia was good The ribeye steak was good Overall the food was good and the service too This is serious business serving serious food

I heard a lot about this place from friends in the area... and I was totally UNDERWHELMED. Food was mediocre at best, with high prices for the area. I should have known better with the pretentious vibes from the staff that this restaurant is more about being seen that serving a great cuisine. As a foodie: with SO MANY other options in Santo Domingo, I will not be returning.

Great ambience, fast but unobtrusive service and excellent food. The high ceilings, dark wood and imaginative lighting create a sophisticated air, backed up with highly efficient service. The menu is imaginative ranging across Asian, Spanish and Italian dishes with an extensive wine list. Everything we ordered, from starters to mains was excellent. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I can say with confidence that this is the best restaurant I have visited in Dominican Republic so far. Food quality is beyond great. I ordered the Mustard Steak medium-cooked and it was perfectly cooked to my liking and the meat quality was impressive. I had one appetizer dish (pictured) and it was so tasty. I paired my food with couple glasses of Pinot Grigo. The atmosphere and interior design is so modern, elegant and chic, and i guess the clientele are probably upper class considering it is not cheap at all (I paid DOP 3,300 for one person). The service was great and left with zero disappointment. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go there again and again to try other dishes.

Swank place for happy hours and gourmet appetizers centrally located in Piantini. Truely the place were the big players go to be seen. The outside bar is great when not too hot and the inside bar is nothing short of opulent for this type of genre.

The new fashionable Spot of the city of Santo Domingo, recently opened in 2019, located in the center of the modern side of the city, in the Piantini area. With a modern-contemporary decor and an outdoor terrace-bar it offers a cozy atmosphere that invite you to have a good time. The food can improve; its price range is high.

This restaurant is great for lunch and dinner, but becomes especially busy and vibrant at night. The inside bar turns into almost like a nightclub atmosphere., The outside patio is great for enjoying a cigar and drinks with friends. The service is always outstanding, and due to the fact that the menu has many different options almost anyone can be satisfied. The food is consistently good.

Loved it! Some negative comments about tardiness serving the food but that was not the case for us, we even showed without reservations and they served us very professional and polite! Food was delicious, a little pricey yes as others have pointed out but it is a first class restaurant and you should expect to spend $45-$55 per person in a place like this, it was a nice experience for us.

Overall the atmosphere was great and elegant. The food i’d say depending on what you order. I ordered churrasco 10/10 and a pasta 6/10. I recommend their meat.
