The
reviews
I
read
prior
to
my
stay
were
mixed.
It
wasn't
as
bad
as
others
have
claimed,
but
there
is
definitely
room
for
improvement.
The
Palladium
is
a
good
brand.
The
lobby,
the
lobby
bar,
and
the
restaurant
are
all
impressive-looking.
The
pool
area
is
large;
the
swim-up
pool
bar
is
small.
I
had
the
very
bad
luck
to
stay
the
weekend
the
pool
was
closed
for
renovation.
I'm
sure
the
newly
renovated
pool
will
be
lovely
for
future
guests.
The
brief
afternoon
I
did
spend
at
the
pool,
(prior
to
its
closure)
I
was
completely
ignored
by
wait
staff.
The
restaurant
is
very
good.
Breakfast
buffet,
lunch
and
dinner
buffet
had
a
decent
variety;
all
the
food
was
good.
Take
advantage
of
the
freshly-prepared
station.
Again,
the
service
leaves
something
to
be
desired.
The
hallways
and
the
rooms
of
the
hotel
are
in
need
of
renovation.
There
is
a
perpetual
musty
smell;
everything
feels
damp.
It's
not
their
fault:
it's
the
Caribbean.
Even
still,
the
filtration
system,
the
dehumidifiers,
something
needs
to
be
improved.
The
rooms
are
very
large
and
spacious,
but
worn.
Chips
here,
a
broken
cabinet
door,
worn
seating.
Nothing
unbearable,
but
certainly
noticeable.
Lastly,
I
did
not
find
this
to
be
a
convenient
location.
You
can't
walk
to
the
Colonial
Zone;
you
need
a
cab/Uber
or
drive
(and
then
fight
for
parking.)
Depending
on
your
plans
and
your
budget,
this
might
be
a
good
fit
for
you.
