Nice place, common areas are great however had some issues with the AC, literally we had to change rooms 4 times. Finally got one with an AC that was working. The receptionist was great and patient

Let me start by saying that I have never felt so disrespected and mistreated at a hotel as I was here at HOTEL ALCADEZA, mind you by the owner's son so just imagine from there on down how the manegerial hierarchy must function. I am partly to blame because I had a major issue the previous stay but decided to give the owner and his team the benefit of the doubt after taking 20 mins of my time to go over the mistakes and areas where they were lacking severely. Not only was this rewarded by worse service than before but in addition to a disrespectful front desk clerk the kicker was a condescending and rude owner not understading that he is likely more qualified to raise sea horses or crabs than working in anything vaguely resembling customer service and much less the hospitality sector. If you dont mind loud cleaning staff making noise outside your door and multiple representatives knocking at your door well before the stated and agreed upon checkout time then it is perfectly Located on one of the back dark streets a couple blocks from el Malecon where you will have to knock loudly to get back into the hotel if you return later in the evening from your travels around Santo Domingo as the evening shift is a resting shift to sleep and not be disturbed by guests wanting to get proper rest

Lage ist Top! Unser Zimmer war etwas mitgenommen, aber nicht so schlimm. Die gut ausgestattet Küche , die man nutzen kann ist super und er Kaffe war auch toll! Gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Für uns war die privaten Parkflächen wichtig, sehr gut!

Great location, clean and safe. The staff Alejo and Harold were excellent. Smiles and friendly helpful customer service. They were a 😊 joy. They assisted with where to go, covid tests, and local apps to download to save money. The property has a back up generator for power outages (PRICELESS). Small business center (unexpected) and a shared kitchen. The cleaning staff were amazing. Great value and great experience. Great budget friendly hotel. This is my second stay here. Highly recommend

I hope you have time ..! they first gave us a room without any window (sorry, there was a window but on the hallway), so we had to ask for a change (knowing that almost all the rooms were empty. The room was dirty, there were holes in the bed sheets, cockroaches in the room and bathroom, rotted soap on the soap tray. the mini fridge was disgusting and broken. and don’t believe the pictures you see for the “garden”, there is a mere table and chair, covered in dust… the hotel is located close to a “theme park” which plays very loud music, and the hotel has really bad insolation… we had booked for 2 nights, we stayed only for one as it was the worst experience !

Excellent place to stay. Clean, prices are very good, staff very friendly. All around a Excellent place to stay ask for a room with a balcony. But not really a balcony a ground balcony. You have to see it. But a great place. Very hard to find but near Malecon.

This was a simple but clean hotel and the service was excellent even though I hardly speak any Spanish the staff was patient and accommodating

This is always my hotel when staying here. Excellent place to stay and they have some great motorcycles to stop and look at. The owners are very nice people. I highly recommend this place.

Excelent service and fair rate.

Very nice and laid back staff, not a tourist area, no free food, locals are very nice, safe place, clean rooms, mosquitoes come in easy and tons of hot girls, a casino and other entertainment is 5 minute walk from hotel.

Horrible hotel. Would not recommend it. Stayed here because it was the nearest one to the place I was going (walking distance), and it was awful. I do admit that the location is great, but still bad. They don't clean the rooms, terrible place, a very bad choice. The Sink was leaking water. The room was full of dust, I had to use my own sheets. They need to fix everything before rent it …
