Stayed
here
for
one
night
upon
arrival
in
Santo
Domingo.
Friendly
staff
at
the
front
desk
spoke
a
smattering
of
English.
The
beds
and
bathrooms
were
very
clean.
A
large
bottled
water
dispenser
is
available
in
the
expansive
kitchen
and
dining
area.
The
wifi
and
power
were
patchy,
as
was
the
hot
water.
No
air
conditioning.
No
lockers
are
available
to
securely
store
baggage,
and
even
if
you
request
a
private
room,
the
room
will
adjoin
another
space
with
bunks
and
no
door.
Very
quiet
for
a
hostel.
Not
a
ton
of
people
to
chat
with.
The
stay
(on
a
Saturday
night
in
January)
was
$28
for
me
and
my
SO.
We
moved
up
the
block
to
a
hotel
the
second
night
with
good
air
conditioning,
better
wifi,
and
a
locking
door
on
night
2,
which
cost
us
just
$18.
