This place is great for sunday brunch. They have a great type of variety of meals… and mimosas. I ordered a Risotto, on point, good prices. They have like 4 different type of searinf areas as well.

I went to Flor de Café during my trip to the DR, because I wanted to check why they were so trendy on Instagram. First, the place is super cozy and picture friendly. It's full of greenery and it has a nature/rustic ambience. The prices are super affordable (in my humble opinion), and the dishes make you hungry while reading them. We ordered the eggs Benedict, the chicken and waffles, and the guava french toast, mint lemonade, and hot chocolate, everything was exquisite, though, I would suggest changing the agave for 100% natural maple 🍁 syrup instead (even if the price changes, it would be tastier). The staff was super friendly and attentive. There is also free wifi. Best sitting spots are under the mango tree.

When it comes to coffee, the Dominican Republic is known for producing some of the best in the world. So when I heard about Flor de Cafe, a coffee shop and roastery in Santo Domingo, I knew I had to check it out. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this was a place that took coffee seriously. The smell of freshly roasted beans filled the air, and the sound of baristas grinding and brewing coffee was music to my ears. The decor is simple and unassuming, with wooden tables and chairs that invite you to sit and stay a while. But of course, the real star of the show here is the coffee itself. Flor de Cafe sources their beans from local farmers, and roasts them on-site to ensure maximum freshness and flavor. I tried their espresso, and it was a revelation. The crema was thick and creamy, and the flavor was bold and complex with notes of chocolate and caramel. It was the perfect pick-me-up on a lazy afternoon. But what really impressed me about Flor de Cafe was the education they provided about the coffee. The baristas were happy to talk to me about the different varieties of beans, and explain the different brewing methods and what flavors they bring out. I learned so much about coffee in just one visit, and it made me appreciate the artistry and science that goes into a good cup of coffee. In addition to their coffee, Flor de Cafe also offers a small selection of pastries and baked goods. I tried their croissant, and it was flaky and buttery with just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect complement to the rich, complex flavors of the espresso. Overall, I can't recommend Flor de Cafe enough. If you're a coffee lover, or just looking for a cozy spot to relax and enjoy a delicious cup of joe, this is the place to be. With their commitment to quality and education, Flor de Cafe is helping to elevate the coffee culture in the Dominican Republic one cup at a time.

We came to Flor de Café for breakfast. The restaurant is definitely nice and the staff were friendly. Overall, the food and hot drinks (coffees) were decent but, some dishes weren’t particularly outstanding and the portions weren’t as generous. There isn’t much parking available but, they had the valet service which was definitely needed.

I gotta say was not impressed with the quality of the food... Got waffles which I would imagine was burned since they were very dry and hard... Got the pouched egg with smoked salmon which had very little taste. My wife got some chabata looking bread with serrano ham. Which came in thick chunks.... fyi always slice it thin... With some arugula salad... Which I would say wasn't good ... All in all I would say the meal was a solid 6.1 out of 10... Service could have been a little better had to hunt for my waiter more than once. .

I was totally amazed by this place. Beautiful beautiful and peaceful ambience. Very meticulous, simple decoration with lots of plants, open spaces, delicious food, and a perfect place to sit outside. Wonderful service, great food, very clean, and just a very very pleasant experience. I do look forward to coming here again! Tried the Tres Golpes, Passion fruit juice, coffee…loved it!

Beautifully decorated place with good food and ambiance. The service is lovely and unhurried, so come when you have some time to chat and relax. Definitely not a place where you want to grab a bit when you are in a rush. Island time all the way.

This is my new favorite spot in Santo Domingo this is a safe and comfortable environment and the food is beyond delicious. From the drinks to the food every single thing we tried was beyond my expectations. I have already recommended the place to all of my family members that already live in the country and didn’t know about this hidden gem . There’s an outside area and also an air conditioned room for whatever mood you are in the details here left me gagging in a good way i was just in completely aww

👉🏽Service was ok. 👉🏽Food: 7/10. My toast was very salty, and domincan breakfast (de lo mio) not a big deal. 👉🏽loved the outdoor space

Been here once before, had a pleasant time and figured I’d repeat it. Second time around was so utterly abhorrent I will never come back. I waited 35 minutes to be sat (not their fault, place was packed) then proceeded to wait for 3 hours for my food to arrive (it never did). People sitting next to us were coming and going yet we never even saw our waiter more than once.

Super cute place. Customer service can definitely improve, people serve you as if you are not paying for what you are consuming. The patio is a kid and pet friendly place to sit and have a nice breakfast with friends.

Beautiful place! Me and my wife are visiting from Ft. Lauderdale and this place really holds its own with the best in South Florida. The food was great and very Authentic with a twist. The Coffee was delicious, get the Café Dominicano, yum! And our server, William was the best, he actually hand made all of our coffee's and Smoothies. Must visit!

Comfy and relax place to talk and have a good time. Parking is hard and just a few spots. Prices are a bit higher than expected but the food was good. Customer service is awesome. The place is big inside and has different areas to choose from.

I had a fantastic breakfast experience at Flor. The menu featured a diverse selection of morning delights, from classic favorites to inventive twists on traditional dishes. The quality of ingredients was evident in every bite, and the flavors were expertly crafted. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff added to the overall charm of the place. Whether you're a fan of hearty breakfast classics or looking for a unique morning treat, Flor is a must-try for breakfast enthusiasts.

Great place, pricing is also good, at time service can get slow when they are packed. Not terrible, but you can feel as service takes a bit of a down turn when to many customers at once. The places decor is gorgeous, the coffee is great and have a very good selection, good place to grab a bite. Also if your in later time of day there drinks and bar is great, the patio area isn't always open but when it is, it's a great spot to share a coffee or a drink with a friend. I would recomend trying the creps, the tequeños, they also make a mean G&T. If your in a more relaxed mood they have a small semi open area in the front where you can have a nice conversation. The indoor areas get a bit louder when alot of customers, and space Is quite tight indoors. Use it for business meets and for also personal meets, it goes well with most situations. Parking is a bit of a headache, but they also have valet parking which is useful. Super market is right around the corner, and shopping mall a couple of blocks away, which is quite convenient. Would recommend the spot to friend and colleagues.

Food is ok and service is ok. They stand out by their atmosphere. I'd say this is probably the best ambience for a coffeehouse outside of "La zona colonial" (old city) - so long as you are in the outdoor terrace. It's pretty laid back and nice place to work for a couple of hours or meet with friends. Often default to it for a coffee, light dinner or brunch .

Delicious! I couldn't get enough of what I ordered. Service is a bit slow, as is the usual in Santo Domingo, but the food was very delicious and well made. Great quality food. A bit on the pricey side, though.

Friendly staff and beautiful place with a few vegan options. Only 4 stars because it’s very pricey for what you get and my table was dirty when I sat down. But for a special occasion this would be a lovely treat

Food was delicious! The little pastry rolls with guava and cream cheese were to die for. The waffles were amazing. The coffee was great but even more so the smoothies. The location is beautiful and it's the ideal environment to get work done, relax and have a coffee or just meet a friend. Would definitely recommend! Maybe call in advance for a reservation as it seems to be quite full.

A lovely coffee shop located in one of the best neighborhoods of the Distrito Nacional. Good- quality food, great service, and great prices. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, mid- afternoon meet- up, and dinner. Highly recomended for celebrating special moments, such as birthdays, bachelorettes, or business events. Lovely place for a date or family outing.

I recently had the opportunity to brunch at Flor de Cafe, a unique restaurant that is housed in a home structure. The moment you step in, you can feel the cozy and intimate vibe that the place exudes. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal. The food at Flor de Cafe is excellent and the menu has a good variety of dishes to choose from and the prices are reasonable. However, the service could be better. It took a long time for us to get our drinks and food, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The staff was polite and friendly, but they seemed to be slow, which caused delays in service. Despite the slow service, I would still recommend Flor de Cafe for their delicious food and unique ambiance. It's a great spot for brunch with friends . Just be prepared to wait a bit longer for your order to arrive.

I totally loved the place, the meal, ambience, music! Is a perfect place for a first date (if you like cursi, girly spaces) or for breakfast meet up. But it's nice even to hang out with yourself. Definitely an unexpected place in the northwest corner of Santo Domingo. Two tips: parking is usually full and the place is also usually crowded between 9.30am and 12pm, people would wait for a table for more than an hour.

Excellent service!!! The food was amazing. Me and my wife had to go twice. One for breakfast and the other one for dinner. Both were great. Those natural drinks are the best. Presentation and flavors unmatched. Highly recommended 👌

Beautiful place, a lot of places to sit. Food is good but takes quite a while to arrive, if you're out for a quick bite I'd keep to the front shop, if you have time to waste, it's a pretty spot to spend time in/at.
