👍👍 Gorgeous space. Laid-back environment. They have a fairly good selection of board games. Eco-friendly service (plastic-free). Snacks are tasty. I recommend the croquetas with passionfruit jam. Bring repellent for the mosquitoes, though. People often mention good,

Cool books and contemporary art pieces, small gifts. Friendly and helpful people, and amazing patio.

It’s pretty cool inside but probably just not my kind of place in the end. I didn’t try any food but the coffee was only so-so (the cappuccino had cinnamon in it). It was cheap though. I guess if I had some friends and we needed a place to chill and chat and maybe play a board game this would be a good spot. To bad I don’t have any friends : )

This place is such a treat! Part bookstore/library, part art gallery and part cafe you could easily lose yourself here for a wonderful couple of hours. The outside is unassuming but the minute you step inside the little ante chamber full of charming plants its as if you've entered a different world. Walk inside and you're in a little hallway with a display of local artists' works and a gorgeous courtyard to the left. They also have an indoor reading room which looked super chic and comfortable. The cafe/bar has a couple of local craft beers on tap in addition to coffee and cocktails. They have more open seating in the backyard. The vibe of this place is so incredibly peaceful and charming that I'd say its a must visit when in the colonial zone of Santo Domingo.

Absolutely gorgeous! Food, coffee, and cocktails in a gorgeous old building. The gallery and bookstore is just icing on the cake.

Quite new bookstore and culture project in the Colonial Zone, ideal for book, culture and coffee lovers. While there, enjoy the nice colonial architecture, spaces and the nice terrace.

Horrible drinks. Horrible service. Amazing atmosphere. Whatever you do dont drink their drinks, get a beer or wine. When confronted with it they say it's not their problem that the drink is not good.

Small but well curated bookstore with exciting art gallery and lovely open air cocktail lounge. Terrific minty mojito.

This is a lovely place for book readers like me, that enjoy a good book with a good drink and a few people around it. Music is not so loud, there are books, cats, a clean restroom and even a movie theatre. They don't have actual food, just entrances but is ok. Prices are good to be at the Zona Colonial.

Their open hours are not posted accurately. I tried to go there 4 times on my last trip and they were always closed. What a waste of time ! I ended up going to the corner cafe instead.
