Great cigars and friendly staff. Wonderful place to have a cigar, drink and enjoy the a/c.

Got thier house brand robusto for 650 pesos. The highest I've paid for a single house brand so far. Said it was a dominican puro. It was in a squared shape. Solid packed. Said to use tobacco aged 5 years but didn't know what part of the cigar was aged that long. Salesperson spoke English. Wrapper was on the dull side. Flavors were standard dominican. I paid 300 for a house brand Toro up the street that looked way better and had similar flavor. They do have fuente and other major dominican brands there. All cigars are stored open to the room. I would treat the cigars better. In enclosed cabinets with humidity control. Especially for the higher end cigars. Keep in mind they have seating and I've been told you can smoke inside. If true those cigars on the shelf are being exposed to that. No thanks.

Great cigar shop with a very friendly and competent service and where i finally found the cigar i was looking for: a limited edition of the Fuentes brand. The shop is in the Conde street in the colonial district, which itself unfortunately has lost some of it’s attraction, now trending toward a tourist trap. The shop also offers cigars made at the shop it self. Loved the place.

You can find whatever cigar you prefer, also they provide local handmade tobacco! The staff are friendly and very helpful! You can pay either dollars or Dominican peso! They provide also place for coffee and some cocktails!

Very friendly owners, with a lovely dog Yuyo. In the cigar shop you can enjoy a drink or a coffee together with a cigar. Nice inside temperature since it’s basically a huge humidor. Huge offer on cigars, rum and hats. The lovely owner knows about his business and is happy to share his knowledge. Highly recommended!

Since last year this place has gone from being a trustful cigar shop to a mediocre one. For years I’ve bought Cubans and this year the whole selection was fake/replacements with original bands. No stamps on the boxes, the bands were installed unevenly and the control numbers did not match the factory numbers. I will never go back

A classic cigar store in the middle of the Colonial Zone. Just ask Julio which is the best cigars in the shop. The hand rolled are great everyday smokes but he has Dominican cigars that you won't find anywhere and are better that Cubans. I stock up every time I am in DR.

Very nice people, but you can’t try to sell cigars over twice the price as you can purchase them in the United States. Go to Don Alsides around the corner.

This is a very good place, and very well located too, if you need to know a little about cigars, this is the place to visit, you can even buy some to take home! Leyenda del Cigarro has 2 locations, the convenient one being on Calle El Conde. The staff will help you select cigars based on your price range and preference, will pour you a glass of rum and you can sit, relax inside and enjoy the hand-made cigars.

I met Julio, an amazing person and great knowledge on Tobacco and Cigars, I came into the store and asked about Domininican Cigars, to my surprise he said he only had Dominican a very few Cuban, we spoke a little about some brands (he had the top Dominican brands available too) he then asked me what cigars do I enjoy the most and I explained that here at home I get the Leaf by Oscar Valladares and I like it because is mild and very tasty, he then proceeded to tour me around the store and showed me various alternatives, I got a Macanudo Reposado with the metal ring, I also got a Padron Dominicano and another I do not remember at this time, and my only regret was not getting all the ones he showed me, the place is very chill in a very nice area, easy to find and Julio deserves all the smokers to go to his store.

I have bought my tobacco products here for many years, no issues.
