The best pasta and lasagne you will have in the area of Santo Domingo. If you will go I recommend you to call it before you move there it is usually full all the time the place is not big enough you will have to make a reservation for the numbers of people you will have with you.

I decided to try this place that I pass by almost every day and was really surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the balance of flavours. Very good Italian restaurant! Will visit again! Strongly recommended

Excellent Italian restaurant and pizzaria with a great atmosphere. If Angiolino's aim to recreate a typical Italian family trattoria, with a family feel and really good basic Italian food, they have succeeded admirably. The food is excellent with all the staples you might expect, well cooked with fresh ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive even though really busy on the night we went. All in all a great dining experience

Delicious main courses and desserts !

I recently dined at Trattoria Angiolino and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and great service. For appetizers, I ordered the Fried Calamari and the "Mozzarella Rain" dish which were both fantastic. The calamari was perfectly fried and not greasy at all, and the mozzarella dish was a unique take on traditional mozzarella sticks. For the main course, I tried the Penne burrata e tartufo and the Fettuccini, bacon & shrimp gratin. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The penne had a creamy sauce and a delicious truffle flavor, and the fettuccini dish was rich and indulgent. The only downside was that the restaurant could benefit from increasing their table quantities as it was a bit crowded and hard to move around. However, this did not detract from the overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend Trattoria Angiolino for anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine and great service.

Customer service needs improvement. They take ages to serve. Plates are pverpriced for the quality, and the place is quite small, so tends to look as if is fully packed. Preferred Sapori D’Italia, and it’s less than 1 min away.

Incredible food! Best italian food in RD. The ambiance is also lovely, intimate and lively! The trio carpaccio and lasagna are to die for.. I felt like I was in Roma again 💙

Very tasty and large portions

Today, I wasn’t feeling too great, hadn’t slept well and was feeling a little moody and disconnected. My mood and attitude completely changed after eating the food we ordered. We ordered the Paletilla de Cordero and the rigatoni with mariscos. It was absolutely delicious and a complete pleasure. I was so happy and joyful. The service it also so welcoming and the vibe makes you feel at home. We normally order the gnocchi plátano maduro and the flap meat, which are equally delicious. Also, the key lime pie is yummy. I also love seating outside. Thank you for making me feel at home and making me feel welcomed and making my day. Will certainly come back soon. 👍
