Mediocre at best not near authentic the burritos were watery. The wait staff at least during the lunch hour were far from attentive. Prices are way too high for RD especially for the quality of food. If you’re craving authentic Mexican food go elsewhere

After covid-19 I've visited lots of restaurants and I got to say that El Taquito Norteño follows all safety measures, to keep Costumer safe and the place disinfected and clean. Also the food is really good and I loved the environment. Prices are reasonable.

Loved the place and atmosphere, they have a very cool terrace looking down to a Koy pool. My only criticism is that all the dishes are made with the same base sauce an tend to taste the same. But don't get me wrong my chilaquiles were to die for but I had some of my friends enchiladas and Pastelon Azteca and they were mostly the same in a different presentation. The margaritas were fantastic, I recommend the Tamarind ones.

Overall, very good Mexican food. The food was not spicy at all, so thankfully, that have a habanero sauce you can ask for that adds a much needed kick! Update: We returned for a second time and it was extremely disappointing. Two of our burritos came out ice cold. When we told the server, he took them back and microwaved them for a few minutes. When the burritos were brought back to the table, the tortillas were super hard from being nuked and if you’ve ever microwaved lettuce and tomatoes…you can imagine how delicious that was. The chicharrón in my daughter’s burrito was so hard that it sounded like she was chewing on a jaw breaker. I’ve never left a bad review in my life, but I have to say that the second trip to Taquito will probably be my last. Just remake the burrito and bring it out hot! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good commercial Mexican food. Not hot (spicy) but very tasty. Chimichangas are deep fried. Owner is from Sonoro, MX. Nice ambiance, good service. Variety of dishes, appetizers and desserts. Tamales are of beef and very tasty, tacos or burritos Al pastor too! Tops in Dominican Republic!!!!

Excellent place, big portions. Natural seasoning, great tasty and delicious. What else? Great ambiance, pet friendly. Just try it, also order the Alambre. You won't regret.

Ordered the pastor chimichanga. A decent attempt at Mexican food. The portion seemed large but the ends were mostly just tortilla. Wish the used more pineapple. Salsa on the side was served warm. The other hot sauce was hot but without distinctive flavor. Chimichanga was fried (I had one at a dominican place that was baked) servers were more interested in thier conversations. Beautifully done decor. Realize this wouldn't be a 4 star in mexico or indeed in the usa. However at 510 pesos it was a fair price for the DR.

Good drinks, margaritas were properly loaded according to wife since she got tipsie but she can't hold her licor anyways, we went with some guacamole and nachos, then we got some pozole which was pretty good. To finalize with some loaded nachos three ways. Everything was incredible, freshly made the guack is gonna make me go for more. We had like three drinks and the whole thing was less than 4k (pesos).

The service seemed good to me, they serve quickly and diligently. As for the food, it seemed regular, for my taste it lacked a little more of the Mexican flavor. As for the price, it is high compared to the taste and quality of the food. Overall I consider that the place is not bad if it is your first time trying Mexican food.

Two visits, same problem with the billing. Once was a juice, second was a soda that we never received but they charged it. When we complained, they said that they can't fix it and if I want the item for take out. If they solve this issue I will highly recommend this place. Food is really good 👌

Cynthia was very attentive and caring. My youngest was having nausea and she caringly prepared a drink for him after she quickly helped rush him to the restroom. My margarita was strong and flavourful and she never stopped checking in with our party. She even suggested from the menu based on flavor preferences. We recommend this place for sure

The chips tasted very old and stale, food not hot when served, including the meat. Would have ordered more but after the nachos, I decided to leave.

Beautiful location, great garden, food tasty and amazing decorations. Services need improvement such they can be more dynamic and smile more.

Watch out for tourist prices. Food is not really Mexican 😕. Burritos are not made the way real Mexican burritos are made. Taste was dry and bland. Chips made out of flour. Not what I expected. Over charged for some side jalapeños.

Excellent flavor and quality. You do pay what you request. Really generous portions for a fair price. You probably won't be able to eat many of the recipes the offer in just one sitting.

Food is delicious, service ughh but food worth it

Food and drinks were ok. Service was subpar. It's like they wanted to make it known they did not want to be there. The outside seating is nice but there are better options for Mexican food nearby.

We ordered 4 different foods, 3/4 were really bad... The place looks old, not well taken care, sorry, i will never go there again
