The worst hostel in the world!!! Avoid this hostel at all costs, there are so many other options in Barcelona! I have traveled in so many hostels and never had to write a bad review on any bu this really deserve this comment! We were two girls and felt very unsafe with a lot of shady people coming in and out at night! The rooms have no air to circulate! Nobody at reception (they say from 11AM onwards but I waited until 1PM and nobody came) so if you have a problem with your key, need a towel, a lock or whatever you just have to figure it out yourself! On top of that we had a dirty kitchen and showers! Lastly, when we asked for a refund because this was unacceptable for a hostel to have these low standards! The owner hung up on me and was extremely rude (and of course did not agree for a refund or to allow for an earlier check in)!

DO NOT COME HERE. The rooms were filthy, the layout was awful, the bathrooms were constantly dirty, the kitchen was no maintained, there was absolutely no space in the showers or toilets. I messaged and called days before I arrived to see if I could leave my baggage before check in with no response. I showed up and waited an hour and a half before someone opened the reception. Check out was just as bad. Supposed to be open at 10am, no one showed up until 10:30am and there was a massive line of people. The only saving grace of this place was the location. Otherwise, avoid this like the plague. Did not feel safe as a female and solo traveler.

The reception and staff willingness to help you is very often just horrible. Even worse, if you are booking the same day or coming for check-in after 22 PM they may not even answer the supposed 24 h helpline, leaving you on the street. Contact them via WhatsApp about details of your comming in as much in advance as possible. Unfortunately even the inside of the hostel is not very pleasant. For example the showers are often dirty, not suitetd for washing at all or the toilets may be missing paper at night. I have very poor experience with the air conditioning. It was not there, or at least not in my room, leaving us only with a window as ventilation. I do not recommend going for this hostel until the people running it take THEIR cleint's reviews seriously and stop insulting them.

Too many things to mention just a few hours after arriving. - There’s mold and dirt everywhere in the showers. - Unfriendly and extremely slow service desk. -Didn’t get a refund for the accidentally booked eighth day of my stay. -Kitchen equipped really bad, not even a water cooker. -air conditioning can only be adjusted by the warm air outside the window (ridiculous). -Placing the common area and kitchen in the basement is also not very inviting.

Not good at all, Starting from customer service, we were chatting with someone who told us that we need to send them our passport details through WhatsApp as they closed reception at 10 when webpage shows 11:30, when we said that we’ll do it on reception he said that reservation it’s canceled and we must find another hostel, we inform them about report on OCU and booking , after this they change their mind and inform us reservation it’s available until midnight. The room smells so bad , doesn’t feel clean at all, pillows stinky and really bad ones. Location it’s okay.

Don't Book this Fraud Hostel. This is totally Fraud. I have booked and they said to hold my original credit card!!! They did not allow access and tell me to cancel from Agoda application. The booking send them confirmation email and call them to confirm cancellation and they didn't even confirm and replied. So my money is wasted to book this Fraud Hostel and I suffer to book for another place. Very rude staff. Very dirty and not clean. Government should take notice of these kind of fraud hostels and shut them down as soon as possible !!!

BE CAREFUL. THE RECEPTIONIST SCAMMED ME! I made a reservation, paid but the receptionist rejected me in the end because of my bike. I screamed for 20 min to get my money back but he called the police. “I am no customer anymore and you make trouble”. He assaulted me with a knife as well. I had no where else to go and I almost slept outside… it was already 22:30. Many hostels where closed so someone invited to their hostel so I can explain something in the morning. I will make a complaint for assault to the police!

Can not recommend this hostel. Tried 5 different hostels in 2 weeks, this was by far the most expensive one and the worst overall. For example: Soap for hands was not provided; no small bedlights only one for the whole room; very thin walls and you hear the people around you. There’s no welcoming vibe, straight ahead it’s more about what it’s not allowed and how much it costs by wrong behavior. also it didn’t feel inviting to meet other people. Do not give them your money, there are better hostels for an adequate price

⚠️Do not book the hostel after 10 P. M. - there will be no one at the reception and you will not recieve your keys.⚠️ The reception is open only during the day and the "emergency" phone number does not work - or maybe it does, but nobody picks up during an emergency. The rooms were very small, but fine for the price. The bathrooms were however terrible! For women, there were 3 showers, two of them weren't possible to lock/close the door and the other one was very unclean. The staff at the reception is also very rude. However, the hostel is very close to the centre and if you book in advance, the stay should be relatively fine. It also has a nice kitchen downstairs.

on their website they mention that the rooms are Air conditioned but that's not true, the rooms are so hot and the general air conditioner does not work. when i slept with the window open, two cockroaches entered the room and one of them lended on me. the bathrooms are dirty with mold all over the doors and there's no space to change your clothes or to hang them. it was a horrible experience. i do not recommend

First off it was decently clean. Location was amazing, great food and sights in every direction. Close to a great metro junction and loved the lockboxes for luggage and personal items. However; aside from one of the female staff members and the cleaning lady, the staff was very rude, and they were never around when needed. The showers and rooms weren’t the cleanest at all, and during our stay there was 3 different occasions of plumbing problems where the upstairs bathroom was out of order entirely. The commons area was not very well lit and wasn’t very welcoming. No AC or fans made it very very hot inside the building. Wifi was slow in almost every corner of the building and constantly kept requiring us to log in again and again. Overall just not a very good experience.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL!!!! The staff at the reception is rude. The air con was not working, when reported, the guy at reception said either go out or look for any other place as he can’t help it. Bathrooms/toilet are dirty with no toilet cover and rooms are moldy. Book this hostel only if you want to have sleepless nights.

i definitely recommend this place to young people traveling. very cosy and very close to the centrum and many attractions in Barcelona. the experience would be nicer if the building was better-kept, because even though there was a cleaning lady every morning, it still seemed a bit dirty. but i'm not complaining that much, since it's very cheap, so i didn't expect the highest standards. and the service was super nice and helpful! best thing out of the whole experience really. i'm definitely going to stay there again if i come back to Barcelona.

I would never stay here again. First if all, dorm rooms are crowded and the bathroom ceilings are covered in black mold. A very unhealthy situation. Rude reception and after sending multiple messages about arrival time, the receptionist was not there. And the day before arrival I was informed I had to pay in cash, so I couldn't even cancel.

The worst in the world !!!!!!! Came in a bit early that told me no check in antil 15 so I've waited but then they chack me in only at 15:15 with no consideration for me waiting.. Then I tried to tack a shower just to find out it is horrifying: dirty no hot water full with black spots When I tern to the resection guy he was rude and told me I bothering him at his work The rooms was filthy as you can finds remains of dirty underwear everywhere of guests are no longer staing I booked 2 nights got out after 1 And even that didn't provide the minimum terms thay wouldn't give the refund for the other It shuld not be called an hotel it should be called an hostile Verrrrryyyyy baaaadddd

There any many cheaper hostels in Barcelona. Please avoid this at any cost. I would rather stay on the streets then in this hostel.

Literally best location to go out and explore the town. Met a few social dead on people. Good place for meeting people and staying only for the sleep.

Unfortunately, The stuff was mostly rude, especially the one who is at the reception, the safety wasn’t the first concern, and the bathrooms were mostly never clean, I don’t recommend this place.

The virtual check-in option was great, as I had to arrive late at night to the hostel. Staff where friendly. Location really central.

Don’t actually expect to get any sleep here - the design of the place is simply unfit for sleep with the doors opening loudly right next to your head, bright lights and very loud showers and toilets. We passed an awful night and then decided to go somewhere else for the second night.

Our experience was awful. We had reserved a hostel for a two-night stay, and when we arrived late at night, the owner refused to let us into our room. He claimed our booking was canceled, although it wasn't, and he even threw our luggage onto the street late at night. His behavior was extremely inappropriate, and as travelers, we felt unsafe.

Experience for One day is good. Staff is good👍 About room is too much small. Tourist tax 6.06€ is too much. And in room not available towels. Is you need towel you need to pay 3 € for each towel and 10€ deposit. And main point price is very good for this zone

I found this place for a good price and it is very well located! So if I only need a place to stay I’d come here again. Buuuut…. Some dorms have not much space at all Bathroom doesn’t have facilities and there was water everywhere, something wasn’t working. I just really hate aaaaall the “Wifi everywhere in the hostel😀” and the WIFI SUCKS so much!! Like, if you have wifi and jt sucks okay, happens, but don’t promote great wifi everywhere when it’s so so bad. Common area is good, kitchen with all facilities. The two guy receptionists don’t have the hostel/traveling spirit, they just work there. But the girl was very nice. Blankets are old and feel itchy.

The beds weren’t clean, there’s was no privacy, the power sockets were very far from the beds. Also, the guy at check-in was very rude and totally not understanding of the problem we were having with the payment. The bathroom was quite clean though and also private. I recommend staying here only if you’re in a large group of people in order to take a whole room just for yourselves.
