Under new management this is now a peruvian fusión restaurant and while it looks unassuming the food is fabulous. The ceviche oriental was full of corvina and had a much deeper flavour than the standard you get in most places. The micheladas with cusquena dark beer are the perfect complement, a bit spicy but refreshing with an almost miso like base. Well priced and with excellent service, ignore the majority of the reviews below because they refer to the old place. This is a welcome addition to the barrio!

Barbaco Burger was a big greasy mess with no flavour.... Service was terrible the waitress was ignorant with a bad attitude. Waste of money.

Amazing restaurant to go to if you are in Poblé Nou area. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, great service and most importantly delicious Peruvian food. Aesthetic dish representation and the portions are big enough to share. For Starter we had a Delicatessen Ceviche a set of 3 different types of Ceviches which was over the top! For Mains Arroz Chaufa de Pollo- phenomenal!! Highly recommend!

I love this place! I always get the grilled chicken bocadillo with cheese and grilled green pepper. YUM!!! Good prices, simple but very well made food and kind service. Laidback, typical Spanish bar.

Patatas bravas are really wonderful. The bar is also not expensive. My advice: try it !

Delicious Peruvian food and superfriendly service. We ordered a Yuca starter and shared among 4. Delicious sause and generous portion. I also loved Arroz Chaufa and Lomo. Super tasty and crunchy! Looking forward to go back.

Bottom line: Amazing ceviche, I have been to 5-6 Peruvian restaurants in Barcelona and this one beats the others. A few more words: I tried the ceviche oriental which was a delight, reach in flavours and they make use of very fresh ingredients. The place itself looks unassuming as mentioned in other comments but Viktor, the owner, is a hearty host. The Pisco sour was very refreshing. I had also Lomo (I can’t remember the dish name) it was tender with yummy sause (usually I don’t like any sause). A great addition to Poblenou, I already came back a few times.
