In one word: Great! First, the service was great. The waitress was friendly and very helpful explaining the different dishes and how to eat them. The food was awesome. Everything had great flavour and portions had a proper size. And the ambience was very nice: the cheerful background music, the decoration, etc. I will make sure to go again and try more Romanian dishes :)

Delicious food with great price-quality. Service is very friendly and willing to explain the dishes and give suggestions for someone that is going for the first time. I recommend the chicken soup, the cabbage leaves filled with rice and meat, and the meat rolls. Although the food may seem heavy, I didn’t feel heavy at all after eating it. Totally approved it and definitely will come back.

We were craving some hot soup, so we went to a place we knew for sure would have that and we were not disappointed. Very good Romanian food, actually authentic and like home. We enjoyed the Ciorba de Vacuta (Cow Meat Stew) and the Ciorba de Afumatura cu Cartofi (Smoked Meat and Potatoes soup). Next we had the Mamaliga cu Branza (Cheese Polenta) and Pui la Ceaun (Fried Chicken). For the chicken we asked if they can replace the polenta with fries and they did. They also serve Romanian beers, Ursus and Timisoreana, as well as other Romanian drinks. The waiter, who is also the waiter, was friendly and fast with the orders. A small minus would be that they might not have everything on the menu if you go late at night.

One of my favourite restaurants in the whole city, I was first introduced by some Romanian friends also living here. There are many plates of all sizes and enough variety to suit any cravings, and when the local Romanian crowd dine here you know it’s good and authentic! There are tapa sized plates in the usual range under 10€, and then larger plates and share platters going under 20€. A great venue to visit as a group; be sure to bring your appetite as you will eat very well!

Authentic romanian food with good ingredients. Wide variety of traditional soups and stews like tripe soupe. The service and atmosphere was very good and friendly. We will definitely come back here.

The waiter Ana was really helpfull and did an excellent job explaining the dishes, we trusted her with the traditional dishes she recommended and we did not regret it! The soup was delicious, every single plate was really really tasty. Polenta on point and the dessert (Papanasi) was my favorite, it’s light and warm and we’ll definitely come back!

Great place with autentical romanian food. Worth to try, as its one of the restaurant who has balkan food on the menu. I reccomend it to all. Will return

I walked for about one hour and 15 minutes to get there. I basically crossed all Barcelona to be able to enjoy some Romanian food. 😁 Great food, really delicious. The “sarmale” were as delicious as we make them back home. I will definitely go back. 🤤 The portion was very small, though, and I had to take a second main course because I was still hungry. The restaurant is small but looks very nice inside.

Foarte gustos. 🤤 I went there to show some friends how “Romanian food” is like. But I was really impressed that it tastes even better than if you would go to such a restaurant in Romania. We tried the salata de vinete, sarmale, bulz, mici & papanasi - loved all of them. Would try them again for sure.

Highly recommend this Romanian restaurant in Barcelona. Ana is an incredible host. The food is to die for, a great memory of our childhood dishes. Absolutely loved the dishes-featured in the photo is Tochitura moldovenească which i hugely recommend.

Vegetable dip very delicious. Other food okay, portions small for the price though and service very slow (waited about twenty minutes to have someone even come to table to offer a drink)
