Cheaper shopping place than souvenir places in the center of Bali (Kuta). The main focus at the Sukawati art market is beachwear, kebaya, souvenirs, bags, beach hats and others. In this location, your bargaining techniques are needed to get the most suitable price.

It’s a good place to stroll around and you can find many affordable clothes yet art here. I kinda surprised when I arrive and they all have moved to the building. I prefer street market because it gives you different vibe while shopping. Not bad tho. I found several stuffs here. tips : Don’t forget to bargain the price while you are shopping.

A modern, cold place with the charm of an old shopping center! No LIFE and many goods imported from China. There is a small part of the old market that is still alive: visit that old day charming place leftover.

New concept of the art market. This place just completed renovation look good and clean. Various of Balinese arts from Balinese style paintings, wood handicrafts, ornaments, beach and summer cloths and many others Balinese art. Don’t forget bargaining the prices offered, some time you can get 50% more. First floor is the handicrafts complex where the above floors are cloths and any others art. Also, you can hunt good paintings with cheap price👍👍👍

new buildings is nice, didn't get the chance to visit all building so I just shop from B building. A lot of vendors here, but mostly in this building they sell clothes, and Bali blanket. The building is big, so it's not hot, vendors rae kind, you can just pick from any store as they sell similar things.

Well worth the experience, lots of products on sale & mostly cheap. Can be a bit claustrophobic & lots of vendors begging you to buy, but it is part of the experience.

Not a nice environment to shop in unless you are willing to deal with vendors trying to get you to buy their items in a cramped place. It’s a highly competitive place where there are rows and rows of booths selling almost the same thing in each level. We left shortly without buying anything. There’s no need to specially visit the place unless you really want to purchase clothes/souvenirs at a cheap price but quality might not be that great too.

Now totally rebuilt, which has killed the place. Prices have increased sharply post-pandemic, and it's no longer worth the trip. Nonstop hassle as you stroll around, so not an enjoyable experiment any more. A real shame.

TOURIST TRAP. The place is clean, it has clothes, some paintings and some souvenirs. The prices are ridiculously high, extremely overpriced even when bargaining. You can get faaaaaar better deals in Ubud market. The vendors at each and every stall will aggressively approach you trying to sell you stuff. We would have probably looked more at their stuff if they left us alone, but it was impossible. 0/10, would not recommend.

Huge market with lots of clothes and some arts / souvenirs too. However I have to say that if you are white / look foreign the prices are not as cheap as the reviews describe. Prices were the same as in Seminyak / Ubud market and bargaining was either not possible or very difficult. So I think not worth the detour if you are not local.

It's newly renovated and not crowded (yet, May 2022) - it's a good time to go here. You'll find an endless clothing shops selling Balinese fashion and handcrafts for half - some even more- the price of the same items found in Seminyak/Legian area. Since the price is already extensively low and if you're feeling kind, try not to bargain and make purchases from different shops to support the local sellers

The old Sukawati Markets had a lot more character and a traditional feeling than these new markets. In building these multi-storey markets the sellers are crammed into small spaces and sell the same products. In the main building the prices start at ridiculously high prices that will make you think that you're in Ubud. Sure, the buildings look new and fresh (for now) but they just look the same as each other and feel lifeless. So, if you want a better price, don't just go to the main building that was the first to be completed. Try the other two buildings if you want a more reasonable starting point to barter. Otherwise you'd be better off shopping at a Krisna store. Haggling can be an enjoyable experience so keep cool and calm, there's no point getting annoyed. If you aren't happy, just walk away and try somewhere else. Some sellers are reasonable and others, well, they're under pressure. The other big downside of these markets is that there is no longer a good night market, it's gone. It's terribly sad to see minimal food carts and warungs around here, Sukawati has sadly lost its magic.......and so continues the push to turn Bali into something other than Bali.

Has a lot of great options, although not dissimilar to what’s available at all markets across Bali. The prices are slightly lower, but not enough to warrant a trip there in my opinion.

Sukawati art market is a very nice place with nice stuff to buy, you can also negotiate with the sellers even tho the price is really affordable, they have nice art, jewlerry, clothes, bags, accessories, decorations, coconut bowls, dream catchers and statues, however inside the shop is very hot even tho theres fans inside it doesn’t really do much, But the parking lot is very big and not complicated, but when you walk in to the building sellers will shout at you to come to there stalls, and shove stuff in your face, it is also very crowded inside so you wont really be able to walk freely, also someone on the top floor (3) tried to scam us, they said 35k for pants and when we gave the money they said 40k, i was willing to pay 40k if they said it first but they just tried to scam us but they finally agreed on the real price 35k.

Renewed pasar sukawati. There are many shops inside, with various stuff to offer. Clothes, bags, paintings, etc. Can bargain for prices here. Non air cond area but not to hot and croded inside.

There's a lot of booth that sell souvenirs like t-shirt, daster, boxer, bag, etc. If you go to the another building in front of the main building, you'll find "Balinese" stuffs. Like fabric (endek, and other kind), udeng, balinese clothes, and also painting

Many visitors to Sukawati Art Market appreciate the vibrant and authentic atmosphere it offers. The market is often described as a treasure trove of Balinese art and craftsmanship, with a wide array of traditional items available for purchase. Visitors often find unique souvenirs and gifts, from intricate wood carvings and handwoven textiles to colorful paintings and traditional masks. One of the highlights of Sukawati Art Market is the opportunity for bargaining. Haggling is a cultural norm, and many visitors enjoy the lively exchange with local vendors as part of the shopping experience. The negotiation process can lead to fair deals and add an interactive element to the buying process.

One place that I will nvr forget anytime I visit Bali. The last time I was visiting Bali was like around 2013, when they still in an old traditional market. But it has changed to a nice vertical building. They sell souvenirs and gifts from Bali. Cheap paintings. All made from local handicrafts. All in cheap prices.. I really love to come there..

Good market with plenty of clothes, bags, souvenirs and paintings. Good part is that you can bargain and you definitely need to bargain well if you want to get a good price. I suggest the shops around this market (not the ones inside) offer a better rate and hence you can compare prices before buying. In fact I bought mostly from the shops outside after comparing the prices with the ones inside the market. Worth if you want to buy traditional Balinese stuff and souvenirs.

After being renovated it's getting more ease to shop here. Don't forget to bargain at around 40 - 50% of the asking prices.

Local art market. You won't see many tourists here. Same items if you buy in the ubud market, the price is at least 10 fold.. The sellers are very friendly and there is room for bargaining. You have garments, handicrafts, everything under one roof. Skip the other art markets and visit this one.

Good selection of wooden craft. I bought musical toys for my child. Can but sunglasses, clothes - mainly sarongs. There are some aggressive sellers but just ignore them.

Wholesale art market, hundreds of vendors seemingly selling the same thing, 50pct cheaper than markets in semanyak or ubud, has massive underground parking
