Very hype place to buy ice cream. Cheap price too. There is never a short queue, where you can see people are lining up on the street and that's why it drew the crowd. Very good marketing👍. The system to get the ice cream order could be improved though to make the service faster. The ice cream is fresh and they have too many flavors that you would want to come back everyday to try different flavors. It melted fast though. They have interesting food menu and dessert as well. Worth to visit when you are in Sanur.

If you are coming to Massimo’s for the gluten-free pizza/ pasta get takeaway! The portions are huge. Which is not a bad thing at all. My friend and I ordered a gluten free pizza each (the only come in 1 size) We didn’t need two We were given some gluten-free bread as an appetiser which was also delicious The staff work so hard and this place is super busy And this is where our experience was undermined. We wanted to sit in a non smoking area which is inside. But it was just so hot. And noisy (wait for all the happy birthday singing) and busy!! Great business. But the heat and the frenetic energy made this the less than enjoyable that I had hoped. - [ ]

We got the seat inside the wine cellar and the ambience was pretty nice. They gave us some free snack in the beginning. The snack shapes like “chiki” ball and I think it was actually some kind of fried dough. We ordered one appetizer, two kinds of pasta, and two drinks. Massimo Italian restaurant was my absolutely favourite place to eat in Sanur. Restaurant is located near the beach and offers variety of products from traditional Italian kitchen. I tried many positions and all of them was incredibly amazing. Cusromer service is incedibly humble and helpful. Pizza, pasta, desserts - all delicious. Highly recommended place especially if you want to taste the best ice creams on Bali.

Probably my fifth visit to the all-time favorite, Massimo Sanur (5th in total, but the first post-pandemic visit). The pasta was okay, but not as good as I remembered. I mean it wasn’t bad, but I kept wondering, wasn’t their pasta supposed to be home-made? Maybe it still is, but for some reason it no longer had that home-made texture to it. Sadly, our food didn’t feel worth the money this time. Thank goodness the gelato is still of the same quality. Tried the pistachio, lemon, vanilla and mango, of which pistachio was the best. The portions were generous, as always. Would come again, but probably just for the gelato.

There was a small incident with one of the dishes, one of the staff was observant enough to check in with us and when we shared what happened. The staff was very responsive, they were apologetic and immediately took action to rectify the issue. It was their reaction to the situation that turned an unpleasant situation to a good experience. We were very impressed by their service recovery. As such we would like to commend the level of service of the restaurant and staff members and we will recommend Massimo to others.
