One of a good place for prewedding photoshoot in Bali. As Tabanan regency has lot of palace than other regency elsewhere. They also open for foreign visitor. The building is unique and retro. They really well kept this heritage. Komang is one of the staff here was very friendly and well accomodate our needs. 그러나 한 노인이있을 수 있습니다. 아마도 주인이 ... 그는 매우 성가신 일이었습니다. But so far...was good. Make sure, for photoshoot..there is an entrance fee ... more precisely a donation ... but there is a minimum price ...

I visited this place weeks ago, learn a lot about Balinese Culture, especially correlation between Architecture, Spirituality, and Balinese royal Etiquette. The Governmental system also clearly showed if you noticed really carefully. The dark side of this place... At the time when the king commited suicide in 1908, and talks about Hinduism with cold head.. And we talks about Spiritual Energy, and also.. A bit of Reincarnation concept. It's really interesting, and could make an idea to start a novel or a book. Because I am eager to travel alone (since I am an introverted guy) I looked like a nut guy.. But i take the chance anyway 🫣 and the girls who guided me is really attentive.., which she should be promoted I mean.. seriously!

Culture and its heritage reflect and shape values, beliefs, and aspirations, thereby defining a people's national identity. It is important to preserve cultural heritage, because it keeps integrity as a people!!

This palace is also known as Royal palace, situated next to Taman Kota is known to be King's palace of Tabanan. It is divided into three different wings according to the family of the king. Inside there is a old age home too. I went there and there are assistants who can provide the knowledge and guide to take a tour around and look at the historical perspective in contemporary time.

What an amazing excursion into the past rich culture of Bali, still lingering on until today. The guide Arya, explained everything very well and in impeccable English, we learned so much. The very tasty traditional meal afterwards completed this unforgettable experience! A huge thank you to my friend Panji Astika, the successor of the former king.

😠 We came here (Jan 2024) but it was closed. Information on Google all said it was open. Extensive renovations going on. We were told it would be reopening in May. Would advise phoning to check before visiting.
