I had such a wonderful stay at this Hyatt. I was solo traveling in Bali and felt so safe at this resort. The property is stunning and right on the beach. Rooms are well kept. The breakfast is amazing. Service was exceptional. Shout out to Yoga who went out of his way to greet me and make sure I was taken care of every morning at breakfast. Also, I would like to thank Prapta at the front desk who assisted me with my reservation when I had some last minute changes. 10/10, would definitely come back and recommend this place to other travelers.

This hotel is luxury and relaxation rolled into one. The staff were always so friendly and greeted us wherever we went. Our room was absolutely amazing, far more luxurious than we were expecting (my dream bathroom!!!). Restaurants on-site were fabulous and the pool was delightful. Will definitely be back! Spa location and setting was great and relaxing too.

A very well-built five star hotel. I like that the architecture and design has a touch of the local culture. Here are some of the other things I like and dislike: - The room is rather small but very nice and charming. - Breakfast was pretty good. However, when the hotel is busy, the breakfast area can be a tight space - The pool is just too small for a five star hotel. I wish they had more pools or a bigger one. - The restaurant is beautiful. Nice views of the beach and has a very warm ambiance. - Great location. Right on the beach where you can have a dip between the ocean and the pool. There's also a boardwalk that is neat. However, on the weekends, the beach can get packed. So that serenity you're looking for can be impossible to get. Lastly, I would say that this hotel would suit couples or those coming alone, not so much for those traveling with kids. This is due to the small pool area and lack of in hotel family activities.

If you enjoy walking long distances between your room and the lobby the beach the restaurant etc. you’ll like this place it’s like a maze! The service is good quality and staff are friendly but the morning and the breakfast was unorganized the first day of our stay (chaos) but next morning was better. Yet, the reason why we cannot give five stars for the review today is because we feel the style rooms and hotel layout was messy compared to other Hyatt hotels that we’ve been to before. The type of 5 star hospitality charm was missing as well. I think due to the size of this place it felt a bit distant and cold. The architecture and landscaping of this place is impressive and classic but perhaps outdated. Wooden textured exteriors and interiors were indeed Balinese so as a first place to stay when arriving to Bali this was a good choice but not tempted to stay longer than 2 days and no plans to return to this hotel again. The reviews for this place seem to be a reflection of people who live in Indonesia and not internationally recognized. The local area is fun and people who live around here are sweet. This would be my first choice for hotel if traveling with family or friends. Thanks again! P.S. you need to try their pizza!! It’s delicious. 🍕

I spent ages deciding on what room to choose as a room with a view is really important to me. Chose the Premium Twin room for its larger size and the supposed views. The view ended up being a very small garden and a brick wall. I totally recommend contacting the hotel first to make sure you’re getting what you want as the website photos are very misleading. Staff and location are excellent. Room service food was decent without being great. I’d recommend eating elsewhere as the nearby restaurants are much cheaper and have better water views.

Excellent in every way! The Club Lounge is open from 11am to 7 pm and booze is free flow from 5 to 7pm. A couple walked in at 7.09 pm..and they were well received. They could order drinks and took food well past closing time. This I have never seen before...and this is beyond Excellence in service. We even sat till past 8pm like a lot of the other guests and no one came up to tell us that, " We are now closed for the day!" All the staff were superb and it made my stay here, a very memorable, enjoyable and happy one. A shout out to Juni, for being most happy and eager to serve all the time, like an Energizer Bunny! 👍👍👍👍👍

We stayed in summer 2022. That was our 2nd stay at the Hyatt Regency. The first being way back in 2009. It was great to see it re-opened and renovated after lockdown. We really like this hotel. It's located on the Sanur beach but also has a long road outside that has many, many eating options at great prices and quality. The staff remain super friendly. The only downside was the executive club still being closed when we stayed. I think it has re-opened now. Looking forward to our next stay. Whenever that will be.

What a wonderful place the Hyatt Regency Bali is. It is within walking distance of my favorite restaurant in the world, Massimo’s‘s in Sanur. The grounds are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. They have several pools including a lap pool. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff are numerous, friendly and competent. A few steps away from the ocean. Highly recommended❗️

We recently stayed 10 nights with our two kids and we had a great time. The rooms, facilities and service is excellent. The two restaurants are great and lots of options to eat there multiple nights. Kids and adult pools and spa, lots of sunbeds. Location is great - on the beach and close to shops and other restaurants. The rooms are well furnished, clean and spacious. It is a big resort so you need to be prepared for a lot of walking - some days we clocked 12-14,000 steps without leaving the resort. Request a room closer to facilities, pool and restaurants if mobility is an issue. Only minor thing we didn’t like is the kids club isn’t free. Staff very friendly and breakfast was well resourced with staff.

I had an amazing stay at Hyatt Bali Sanur! The location is a tropical paradise, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the beach. The amenities provided were luxurious and well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern conveniences I needed. The on-site dining options were fantastic, offering a variety of delicious dishes. Whether I was relaxing by the pool or enjoying a spa treatment, I felt completely pampered throughout my stay.

I am really disappointed that I have to give this hotel no more than two stars as me and my family are frequent guests at Hyatt around the world. This is why I expected the same standard which was obviously a mistake. First of all the positive aspects: - The rooms are beautifully renovated and the room service staff is very friendly. - The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and the atmosphere is very calm. - We really enjoyed the spa area and the gym. Now unfortunately to the negative points, which clearly outweighed the positive during our stay: - We were there during Christmas, since it was the first time I spent Christmas without my family I came to this hotel expecting to get a Hyatt appropriate high quality atmosphere. I knew it would not be like Christmas in Europe, but what was offered was really unbelievable. The price-performance ratio was not right at all, we paid over 100€ for 2 people. The food was OK, everything else was not. The service was a disaster, orders did not come or came very late, there was no Christmas music playing all evening but basic RnB and pop songs (?). The decoration was cheap, paper napkins and straws in a Hyatt and then at such an expensive dinner are a no go for me. - Unfortunately, the service was so bad not only on Christmas Eve. At breakfast, several times orders did not arrive, one morning I had to ask 5 times for a coffee until the waiter came to me and asked if I was waiting for something? - Generally very long wait for pretty much everything, even when it wasn't crowded. At the reception you are left standing for 15 minutes without attention. I really cannot understand all the positive reviews, maybe we were just unlucky but given the fact that the above mentioned points happened more than once this is pretty hard to believe. To sum up, if I stayed in a regular hotel in Bali without the name Hyatt on it, I probably would have said we had a good time. But paying almost 200€ per night we were really unsatisfied with what we got.

Great resort overall, rooms very clean and lux. Beach is just amazing. We didn’t think that you’d get good sunsets here since this faces east, but with the right atmospheric conditions the entire place really turns pink. Regency Club is fantastically relaxing and a great environment to start the day in, but I just wish that the breakfast served here was more extensive. Being able to pop in all day long for unlimited drinks (alcoholic too) was certainly a plus.

Absolutely love this hotel! The staff are extremely accomodating and very nice. Most of our meals have been had here at the hotel and every dish we have received has been lovely ! This hotel is very relaxing and great for families. Situated right on the beach you have easy access to the path that goes right through Sanur as well as access to the Main Street in Sanur which is great for shopping. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Really can’t fault my stay here! I will definitely be booking to come back to this hotel! :)

This hotel lives up to its name! It has a warm and welcoming service, helpful staff, great breakfast! Well done for maintaining or maybe improving the service in the pandemic. Love the kids club and the swimming pools! Yes, they have 2 pools for adult and 1 kids pool. Overall, a very recommended hotel for family with kids and a good value for money. Thanks Hyatt!

Above all that this resort has to offer, the standout feature would certainly be its staff, all of whom were always friendly, helpful and attentive - resulting in a thoroughly welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. At the time of writing the Regency Club lounge is being housed in a separate area of the main restaurant. It was full at times due to limited capacity but we were always seated, albeit after a short wait. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable, with a small separate sofa area despite not having stayed in a suite. Nice touch. The gym pool, separate from the beachfront pools, provides for a quiet respite if you're looking to spend some time in a child-free zone. Also available next to it is a beautiful gazebo for you to smash out some yoga on your own, if that's your thing. A great place for couples and families alike, and it's great to see that the resort has put in great effort to get things back up and going as much as possible post-pandemic. Would definitely recommend.

Well… We booked through luxury escapes, the package included all meals and seemed very well priced, we decided to give it a go and book it. We use luxury escapes mainly for the convenience of a one stop shop, book hotel flights etc.. The hotel is spectacular, amazing indeed, we understand that due to low level of bookings some areas have no need to be open or fully opened. Our biggest disappointment was the fact we had all meals included and we were given paper vouchers for lunch and dinner. So far so good… For our surprise the menus were different and portions halved. We literally felt we were using food stamps!!! We felt like second class guests… Mind due we spent an extra aud $900 over 7 days in just some extras. It’s not the money… we are happy to spend and reward staff as we did, but the experience was totally destroyed to us and not for any staff fault. Breakfast was very disappointing also, I’ve taken photos of trays with little pieces of ham and same with cheese.. a 5* hotel doing this type of cutting corners is just not acceptable in our view. We went a few times to the intercontinental for dinner and was absolutely great, I wish we had booked with them Bicycles to rent at the hotel are unacceptable, rusted, old, unsafe and on top of it charging a miserable $3 for it is laughable. Guaranteed we will never ever stay again at any Hyatt anywhere in the world. Senior management at this so beautiful hotel should feel ashamed of themselves. Extremely disappointing and the experience tarnished.

The staff is the friendliest and warmest I’ve ever encountered, from housekeeping to reception to waitstaff, they are all amazing. Extremely baby friendly, both the staff and the services they provide. Impeccably clean and maintained rooms, thoughtfully designed. The resort itself is akin to a park with fish and ducks and beautiful gardens. Normally food at resorts is varied and looks great but this one has legitimately delicious food, including breakfast and their Indonesian restaurant. It’s right next to the pedestrian boardwalk which is covered by trees from the sun, and the beach is on the other side of it. This is a tough resort to beat and will have ruined me for others.

Nice location for families. The resort is very beautiful. However, the prices are much higher than in the surrounding area and there is a fixed service fee on top. The laundry service is cumbersome and expensive too. The rooms are pretty nice but that can be expected for the price.

Beautiful maintained grounds, excellent breakfast selection, staff courteous and friendly, gym and adult pool area great for exercise / swim laps, no children in the area. Downside is room air conditioning could not get off 18C despite room staff requested to raise to 24C. Front desk long wait to check in/out. IT system seems cumbersome and staff struggle to use efficiently. Great place for a restful family holiday and nearby town has good facilities for tourists to eat and enjoy their stay.

I love that hotel. Service, food, location , pool, the yard with pond. Everything just great. Only the rooms I find a bit small with narrow corridor. Why no have luxe or suite? Why all same? But I love the terrace. Chilling there in the morning is best.

I am currently staying at this hotel and can not give it anything other than 5/5. The staff are wonderful, the facilities are wonderful, the service is quick and we were already so relaxed and comfortable from day one. We have included club access as part of our stay - and that is very worth it. The only recommendation I can give Hyatt Regency is to let the bartenders at the club make an “island specials” cocktail list that they can change over the year because those boys know how to make GREAT cocktails if you ask them to make a “special one”. We have had 5 special cocktails during our stay and they have all been amazing. Ask for the one with rum, pineapple and topped with red wine (doesn’t have a name) or the one they call “my passion” (a mix of martini, passion fruit and I think something else) - they are my favorites so far. It is the staff of this hotel that will make us want to come back again and again. They have all gone above and beyond for any of our requests and met us with the biggest smiles!

We had an excellent stay here. The hotel is not that big which makes it more personal. The pools are amazing and it's easy to walk to nearby restaurants. Staff were helpful, especially Sintia from the front office. Overall great value.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The pool was super relaxing and the amenities were so wonderful and great. Would definitely come back to this hotel for a family vacation again. The spa was shared with Andaz, another Hyatt hotel. The spa was very special. We had a small suite for two enjoying a warm stone massage. It’s got a shower and sauna in the spa treatment as well. Could not been better. The spa pool was also much more quiet and less crowded from the main pool. Highly recommended.

Amazing facility, great pools, hot tub, restaurant, people! I totally loved it! The beach was not the best but there was a lot to see and walk around. Tons of restaurants nearby. Very nice place 😍

The hotel is beautiful with nice gardens and beach front. Nicely decorated with all sorts of lovely details and decors. The room, although standard, is nice and spot-clean. It is a bit small in size, which is a bit acute with the unnecessary extralarge bed composed of two 105 single beds 😳. The balcony facing the ocean is a window with a large ledge where they cramped a sofa, a table, a chair and a towel rack 😱, so you cannot access the "balcony" unless you jump into the sofa. Certainly no way to get to the rail. Also, the trees in the garden obstruct the view to the ocean, at least on my room. Breakfast is also substandard for a Hyatt. The food is of low quality with few choices. Although this is becoming a standard with the excuse of the COVID. Besides, the buffet is disposed in a way you have to ask for food, which is given at the mercy of the waiter. Literally I had to beg for the portion I wanted, which was given with "ok, I'll give you a bit more". Really? The juices are diluted with water. I was planning to extend a couple of days, but these, not minor things for a Hyatt, made me change my mind about the place.

Great hotel, everything is really right here. Service, cleanliness, food, everything very good. We had a great time there. Especially the very richly and from day to day varied breakfast has pleased us very much. Unlike other hotels, the service was very attentive and fast and you were not constantly asked for the room number. Also at the pool we always found a sunbed, the staff makes sure that no sunbeds are reserved and then not used. Very recommendable this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful resort. We stayed in the basic king room and it was perfect and lovely. Staff was accommodating a kind. Loved hanging by the pool or beach. The beach path behind the hotel was lovely to walk on and going to town was easy breezy!

Excellent! Worth every cent. The rooms were pristine, super clean, the room furnishings were kept in excellent condition, beds were very comfortable and in great condition. The staff were extremely professional with world class training. The food was exceptional. Had happy hour at the beach front Pizzaria restaurant, had multiple cocktails and delicious pizzas. Cocktails were of a great standard and they supplied us with plenty of free nibbles with the drinks too which was a surprise. We spent two nights there and would go back in a heartbeat.

We spent an amazing 7 days at the Hyatt. Our room was gorgeous, spacious and very clean. Staff were lovely and very attentive. We ate in all the restaurants apart from the Regency as we had vouchers included in our package. The food in the pizzeria was just incredible. Lots of choice and nothing disappointed us. The grounds were immaculate and there were plenty of pools to keep you cool. The beach was clean and well looked after. Seriously we couldn’t fault anything, we were sad to leave, but have no doubt we’ll be back.

Beautiful resort in Sanur right at the beach. Tranquil green gardens with great pools to swim in. The service has been friendly and professional right from the time you arrive to check in :) The executive lounge staff have been great servicing the need for our food allergy family throughout our stay The hotel cared and attended to my need immediately when I needed help after I sprain my ankle on the street and provided me with a wheel chair and a lovely card and fruit basket. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with them all caring and asking me how I was through my stay when I was passing through in the resort or at the executive lounge Thank you for making my stay wonderful !

The Hyatt is always a great place. The location is excellent and the food is 5 stars. Excellent. Restaurant staff are friendly and helpful as are the wonderful folks at the spa and gym. The front desk sometimes needs a bit more training and the maintenance needs supervision to make sure hotel stays up to a 5 star standard always. Overall its a wonderful place and I love the atmosphere. Highly recommend it.

A super beautiful hotel! Have been here 13 years ago and loved it! It got renovated in the meantime and is simply mesmerizing in beauty because it’s completely surrounded by plants like frangipani trees - super pretty! Amazing breakfast buffet with a huge variety of choices. Super friendly and helpful staff. For sure would come back!

Incredibly beautiful resort - you will not regret staying here. The staff was lovely, restaurants delicious, location was perfect, and the landscaping was so beautiful. I especially loved the spa and gym area with a private adult pool, sauna, steam room, cold plunge and hot tub. Perfect place to watch the sunrise from the resort’s beachfront. I could have stayed here forever. Highly recommended and cannot wait to return.

Amazing hotel, my wife and I came over from staying at Grand Hyatt Bali and the atmosphere of the lobby wows us instantly. We stayed from 19/03-21/03. It has more Balinese design and feel over Grand Hyatt Bali and the room certainly is more modern and cozy. I love the design of the rooms and the bathroom too. The lush green environments of the hotel were very serene and calm and felt really nice when walking through the mini gardens and walkway of this compound. A shoutout to bellman Yuda as he has made our stay really pleasant. He is very friendly and recommended us tips on navigating through the hotel itself and outside as well. He greets us with a huge smile and remembers us whenever he sees us. Overall it’s a fantastic stay in this hotel and would like to visit again very soon in the near future for sure!

The Bali Hyatt is fantastic, a piece of history, really nice rooms, staff are just great and the breakfast really good with great options. The grounds are.landscaped like a botanical garden. The gym is great, got virtually everything.... just awesome We love it

What a beautiful hotel, amazing grounds and the staff are so friendly. There are a few negatives though, we upgraded to a room with a patio, but unfortunately, this is uncovered, so after rain, it’s completely unusable as all the cushions are soaked through, and there isn’t any indoor seating we could take outdoors, so we haven’t been able to use this area. The lunch and dinner although absolutely delicious often took up to 45 minutes to an hour to arrive, and desserts sometimes never appeared, even after enquiring. There isn’t an adult-only pool, whilst there is a kids pool there are often kids in the other pools too, which is fine, but often noisy. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel, or come here again if they could fix the above.

we went to hyatt regency for pool daypass, and we had dinner at pizzaria restaurant near the beach it was beautiful, but the food and the staff was terrible! first we seat on the table outside and one of the waiters said the table is reserved, that actually that table was not reserved! no one sitting on that table until we meet i guess is manager and asked for that and he allowed us to seat there with the reason “guest cancel “ so they allowed us to seat there! even we know that was lied! and we waited the food for 50 minutes! and even we order 1 drink it takes 20 minutes to come, there’s so many staff but idk why it takes too long. this is 5 star hotel but feels like 3 star!

  • 4/5 Paul D. 1 year ago on Google
Staff were amazing, food was exquisite at both restaurants. However, the hotel is a shadow of its former glory - the rooms are old and some smell musty because they don’t get enough natural light. They are anything but modern (look carefully at the room photos to see what I mean.) The main pool is green (you can see this from Google Maps if you don’t believe me).

Great location. Nice clean beach. Great crowd. Sunrise beach. Few activities for adults like jet ski, para surfing. Pool is fantastic, restaurant by the beach, Piazza, serve awesome food n drinks. Staffs are friendly, helpful and cheerful. Top class indeed. Family vacation spot if you like little serenity but walking distance from night life n dinner places.

From the rooms to the dining to the pool. Everything was just amazing! We enjoyed every minute on this resort. Eating breakfast at the beautiful pond with the ducks and fishes. With a wide variety of foods and drinks. The rooms were very clean and always clean when we came back from our trips. The most friendly staff I have ever experienced in any resort or hotel in the world. Definitely a place I will keep in my heart and will come back too!
