We enjoyed our time at Segara Village with the family. It is a bit more pricey than at other hotels but the staff is great and they take care of the premises. It is also one of the oldest, family owned hotel. Very nice playground for children, there is also a day care in there.

Stunning and lovely to be back at Segara Village. The people at Segara are so kind and incredibly helpful whilst being surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and pools. Just a pleasure for our family to be there. Absolutely the best spot in Sanur and right on the beach.

I've stayed in rooms and bungalows. Rooms were quite nicer as location is near to the beach and central while bungalows were so far and to be honest price wise is not quite worth it People are very nice, smiling and helpful Breakfast was diverse. We enjoyed our stay there a lot Location is quite central, with direct access to the beach

The location is very good, easy access to the beach, good hotel for relaxation. Byrd is beach front restaurant is part of this hotel which gives great view of the beach. The food is also delicious. Very good atmosphere with beautiful garden, clean, quiet and comfortable room. The service is good also friendly staff. They have indoor and outdoor kids play area.

This place feels and looks what ypu imagine Old World elegance to be with a tropical theme. It's beautiful here. The grounds are overflowing the flowering plants, shrubs, and trees. Every where you look an explosion of color. Smartly designed pools with a modern vanishing edge all the way around. Small children's pools are also designed well and have flowing water component. The layout of bungalows and villas maximizes privacy while still providing short walks to the restaurant, pools, and beach. I could praise Segara Village Hotel for hours. Every component of an elegant, sophisticated resort - without pretense is well represented here.

Nice room but quality varies from room to room and pleasant tropical gardens. The food is average to good depending on what you order. Some of the desserts were amazing and the sushi was very good as well. Other dishes were mediocre. The porters are a bit aggressive about insisting to carry your luggage even when I didn't need or wanted help.

One of the nicest yet oldest beachfront hotel in Sanur. Bungalows are spacious, clean and comfortable. There are two spacious pools, gardens and beachfront eatery. Staffs are super friendly. Overall is good. Will comeback for more. Needs to be improved: breakfast menu.

Not staying at the hotel but at the Byrd restaurant and as a resident living here I have to say this is the best beach location we have to offer in Sanur. Even my Expat friends from Seminyak admit that it's one of the best places on the island... Especially during sunrise or sunset. Food is also good and prices are still reasonable. Haven't tried the cocktails yet as I don't drink while driving but the barista makes good coffee and the selfmade cakes are fresh and delicious πŸ˜‰. Please don't come here for Christmas or New Year's Eve! Just stay away cause I don't like crowds πŸ˜‚.

This is a luxurious hotel and my expectations reflects this. Locally run and owned. Owner consul for Norway and Finland. A guarded resort. What is extraordinary striking is the garden. Beautiful. Routined and friendly staff. Funny bar where you sit on chairs in a pool. The regular family pool has sun beds in water that is cool until your book slips from the side table. Towel service included. Location at sea side where you can go for a swim. There is a small pavillion with bookshelves with books for interchange/free. Has its own restaurant on the more expensive side, but plenty of more affordable alternatives nearby. Enjoyed the breakfast. I usually do not stay on exclusive places like this, so for me everything was fantastic - as expected.

Our stay in Segarra Village Hotel was amazing. The room was so comfortable and clean. The pools were great and the food in the restaurant was so tasty. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were so helpful and kind! I hope to stay here again in the future!

Rooms are good/fine. Stuff is extremly friendly and always up for helping you out. We would fully recommend it if it would be a tsunami-ready hotel since it is in a tsunami dangered zone.

Good spot for all-day chilling, if youre not a guest at the hotel there is a charge for a day pass (300k). The food is OK, not amazing. The service is also not great, staff were friendly enough but not helpful at all with our queries. Felt they couldnt be bothered to be there, and gave off a snobby vibe. Probably wont be going back purely because of the poor service.

Modern Balinese resort, spacious, manicured garden, mature trees, temple, serenity, away from the hustle and bustle ... no high-rise buildings here. Warm friendly service from the team, some been serving for a few decades. It's one of the best buffet breakfast venues at the Byrd house ...

Beautiful resort with a lovely garden in a great beach front location, staff were very attentive and helpful and friendly However the room design were terrible every time we switch on the toilet light the exhaust fan suck all the ax out and leave the room hot n humid and the small AC couldn’t keep the room cool It wasn’t easy to enjoy

By far the best place to have a family vacation. Very strategic area. Beaches, foods, close to other places. Easy access, friendly staff. Room is cozy and clean, but the AC when hot sometime even tho you put the temp to the lowest. Service is good, but it keeps running out of towels at the pool. Breakfast setup is good but can be better.

What an amazing resort!! The service of the employees is great, everybody wants to help you. The rooms are fantastic. We had 5 different rooms at the times we have been there, all of them were clean , big and a nice environment. Every day they clean the room and are very helpfull. The food in the restaurants is really good, the breakfast is extensive, the lunch and dinner are also really good. Specially the buffets we can recommend. The restaurant is between the resort and the beach, an amazing place to sit. Betreden the restaurant and the beach is a long boulevard worh nice shops, massagesalons and restaurants. You can eat there really good for small prices. We recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to have a relaxed holiday in a nice environment and all luxe. Also with kids it is phenomenal. You have 3 3 different swimmingpools so you can always choose to swim in the sun or in the shadow. Thereby there is a small kidspool with a small slide. We onjoyed here for 2 weeks very much!!

Looking good from the outside, the garden is so fresh looking. They have this beautiful beach front restaurant. They keep all garden clean and they have unique ducks and birds and chicken walking freely the garden. They have electric bike rental. Big playground for kids.

We had dinner at Sengara Byrds House Restaurant. The seafront restaurant is amazing example of modern architecture full of atmosphere and charm. An easy two hours flew by. The menu was deceptively simple, reflective of most of the restaurants along the beach front. The food was exceptional and delicious far surpassing anything we have eaten over the last number years eating at the huge variety of restaurants here in Sanur. Highly recommended

Excellent resort, we had 3 nights here last week. Very nice room (thought the bathroom configuration was a bit strange but it worked ok), great staff and service and a perfect location right by the beach, the pool areas are fantastic.

Thanks to our interaction with Wina at front office and all the wonderfully friendly staff, we were so happy to return to this beautiful hotel after 2 years. We were greeted like old friends and upgraded to a room that felt as if you were in the tree tops. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the family temples are an integral feature of the gardens and the gardeners rake the frangipani leaves into heart shapes! A wonderful place to rest, relax and relish being in Bali.

One of the most Beautiful Hotels in Sanur. Rooms are nice, clean and in a mix of traditional and modern items/Installations. Bathroom and Toilet are clean and modern the bed comfortable. The best to mention is the location, next to the beach with a wonderful big garden area surrounding the rooms and pools. You got a wonderful view from the byrdcage restaurant / bar over the beach and the ocean. 😍 The Staff is very friendly, helpful and make a great time possible ... thank You !! Until now we had a very pleasent stay and don't want to leave !

Lovely old hotel, established gardens. Excellent restaurant facing onto beach. No shade provided on the beach. Nice rooms, but not clear as states bungalow but is actually one room on top of another in a free standing unit. This is a noisy hotel, many families, not a couples hotel. Main pool taken over by children, smaller pool usually for adults. Recommend for families, not for couples.

For our first 2 days in Bali we stayed at Segara Village Hotel. Our expectation were low, but the hotel and the staff was perfect. We really enjoyed being there. Sitting in the (smaller) pool and relaxing between amazing nature, ducks and chicken. At the end, we wanted to stay longer. Big compliment and thank you!

This is a beautiful hotel that should absolutely be 5*. We have a more budget room and even then it’s beautifully designed, with amazing amenities. Even the air con smells floral, which is the level of attention the hotel puts into its experience. We love the sea facing restaurant bar for drinks and food. The hotel is quite pricey so we regularly pop out to the local restaurants for food and drinks but the atmosphere at the hotel beats anything we can find outside of it, so we always come back!

There is a day pass plan, and you can use the pool and playground, so it is very convenient for families with children.

I like swimming here, the swimming pool is surrounded by trees. I like eating in the beachclub, Byrdhouse, facing the beach waiting for the sunset. The food is yummy. Definitely will come back again.

Good hotel actually but they need to do some massive renovations since they have a huge garden and a lot of ponds. Friendly staff, good location
