During our stay at Mahagiri Villas, we had good service and the staff were lovely however, we had SO MANY ISSUES during our stay and would not go back due to the following: - There were bed mites in our room which was reported on many occasions during our stay and we called room service to clean our bed and change our sheets. This was not the direct solution for the problem as the mites would still fall onto the bed and appear again. Myself and my husband had bites from the bed mites and could not sleep properly throughout the 2 weeks. - There was blood on our mattress which was reported but was not sorted. - The sheets were not changed during room service, instead the old sheets were draped back over the bed. We found that there were oil stains on our sheets most of the time, not sure where they came from but this was a clear indication that the sheets were not changed during room service - The toilet was not cleaned accordingly, there was limescale around the toilet and the drain near the toilet. The drain was broken and corroded and was not cleaned throughout our stay. The pool was not cleaned properly everyday. Leaves / dirt were scooped out with a fishing net and a cleaning solution was thrown into the pool to give it a blue colour which made it look clean otherwise, when the cleaning solution was not in the pool, it was green and dirty. Frogs would go into the pool on a regular basis which made the pool completely unusable and was not used by me or my husband during our stay. - The same coloured frogs that were in the pool were on the walls outside making it difficult for me to go to the kitchen as I was scared. I reported this to reception twice however, nothing was done in regards to this. - Termites were present in the room on the wooden flooring and were eating away at the floor. There were marks all over the floor which was quite evident of the presence of termites. - Wasp nests were present in the lampshades of the kitchen over our breakfast table. This made it extremely difficult for us to have breakfast outside and we stopped ordering breakfast from the hotel. On many occasions, we had the wrong breakfast sent to us. The hotel was aware that we eat halal only and they sent us pork for breakfast a few times. - The mirror was damaged in our room and there was a hole in the mirror which seemed like a burn, not sure what it was. Also, the mirror was extremely dirty and was not cleaned throughout our stay. - There were lizards in reception on the walls Despite reporting these issues to Mahagiri, we were not offered a refund or any compensation. These issues made our honeymoon absolutely appalling and we are very disappointed. On the day of our flight, we left 10 hours early for the airport because we could not stand another minute of being there.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a pleasant experience in Sanur. The food is fantastic and the staff are warm and friendly and take time to ensure that you have a wonderful stay in this little bit of paradise. We look forward to visiting and staying with the Mahagiri team again, they also have a property in Lembongan also if you are looking to head to the island. I spent 5 days celebrate my besday here in Bali. The villa is so beautiful, clean and the staff very freindly. The breakfast is nice and they serve at villa..The pool is superb. We enjoy our stay and surely will visit again

I was away with my family for 8 days best hotel/villa experience we had, the staff was super friendly and there attitude was not “can we do it” but “how can we do it” 10/10 would recommend.

The great experiences. Wonderful. Beauty. Good food. And the best is clean and huge bathroom with bathtub and sea salt. Hmmm..

As we’re heading into our last night of a four night stay all I can say is wow! From the moment we arrived we’ve been so spoilt with the best staff who are so warm & friendly, amazing food & cocktails For a small boutique resort with only 17 private pool villas the surrounding gardens are stunning and quality of the food & facilities are something you’d normally find in much much larger place. It’s only a few mins on the complementary bicycles to Sindhu beach. Thank you so much to the whole Mahagiri team, we’ll 1000% be back!

Staff firstly are all incredible and so attentive! There are no concerns on that front, however the pool was a bit run down with a couple of tiles missing and the outdoor shower area had green mould all over the wall. It would take 10 mins to either jet wash it off or paint over it. Room was lovely and clean but did smell heavily of wood stain.

We stayed at Mahagiri Villas for 2 weeks. What can I say… this place is absolutely beautiful. The service is exceptional and food is amazing! Every little detail is well thought out and we really enjoyed our stay. Villas are also very close to Sanur and easy to get villas shuttle into town. I will definitely be coming back. Our stay at mahagiri villas was exceptional. The staff were lovely. The entrance has security and a front desk that has very friendly staff. As you walk further in there is a spa and a large central restaurant. The villas are off to the side of the walkways but feel so far apart from each other. The villa with private pool we stayed in was private, spacious clean and amazing. The restaurant had amazing breakfast selection that was included daily with our package. Monday night they had a seafood cook up that was to die for. The prices were great and it was cooked to your selection and the sides were awesome ; noodles, special fried rice, steamed rice, veggies and desert. They also had great specials for room service food and beer. This was one of the best places I have ever been to truly relax.

We just been staying at the villa room 101 for the last 12 days. The reviews has explained everything about this villas. Everything is perfect from the day one to the end of our stay. All staffs are friendly and would do everything to make your stay a memorable one. Special thanks to Ari & Ratmika at the front desk & a tall young lad who clean our villa daily to perfection. We would definitely would recommend for everyone who plan to come to Bali to book this villa …all the reviews doesn’t lies! Amazing two bedroom pool villa. It was spotless and very spacious. Good sized private pool. Included breakfast was nice where you order from a menu. We also ate dinner here and again a good menu with very reasonable prices.

There is no doubt in my mind that if i go back to Sanur, this is where i will stay. Staff is beyond nice. Their english is very good. Response time for room service or any request is super low. Food is amazing. Place is clean and like a dream. Massages are very cheap and super quality. Do not hesitate for a second. Also suggest the food lesson This will blow your mind!

If I could give this villa more than 5 stars, I would. Our stay at Mahagiri was beyond exceptional including staff, hospitality, cleanliness, morning breakfast, location, amenities, and the free transportation that the villa provides. With this being our first time in Bali, we were incredibly pleased with our stay. We stayed in the private pool villa which felt like paradise on its own. Every morning we were greeted with smiles from the staff of the hotel. You could choose to have your morning breakfast, which is included in your stay, brought to your room or you could dine at the Mahagiri restaurant, which again had exceptional hospitality. Sanur is also located in the middle of Bali and so if you’re looking to tour the island, you can easily drive to the north, south, east, or west from here. It’s also very close to the Denpasar Airport. Without a doubt, we will be returning and staying at Mahagiri Villas.

Super friendly staff, excellent food, and nice villa - will definitely return. The free shuttle service around town is handy and they provide umbrellas, which are definitely necessary during the rainy season. The spa is very nice – definitely try one of their Balinese massages, if you’re adventurous.

We just had a wonderful 9 days here at Mahagiri... Our villa was as we hoped . spacious clean and pool area great ! All staff in all areas were always happy and all went out of their way to assist Us .. Extra bonus ..shuttle service ☺️ Hope we can get back here again soon Karen and Don 🌺 🌴 🍹 🌺

The hospitality was very good. Beautiful villa, Clean, and Comfortable to stay. They even have private gym. Definitely will comeback again.

Not close to many popular destinations but is a nice villa. You have your private pool. The gym is very run down. Food Street is a 10 mins walk away.

Staff was great, good privacy. Room need to be refurbished. Food good, Spa excellent. Free shuttle was awesome. Garden area nice and relaxed. Private Pool awesome.

Excellent resort with phenomenal villas and pools. Very well maintained common areas with beautiful balinese interior design throughout. Excellent staff, professional and helpful, kind and hospitable, happy to accommodate all requests. Would highly recommend staying here!

This place is simply AMAZING! I'd venture to say the best placed we've stayed in Bali. The service was out of this world, the food, the villas, the musical show and dinner they prepared were extremely good. I would not hesitate to recommend this place! I give it a 20 out of a 10!
