The cheap rooms aren't all that good, pretty run down and whilst we had a shower without the bath, the bathrooms were sub standard. It may be a one off but one day the water was black, unbelievable but they did fix it. Not enough pool lounges but lots on the beach. We did check the bungalows up the office end and they were fine. Location is great but I don't believe the standard rooms are up to scratch. Whilst it around $100 a night for a cheap room on the beach, staying across the road away from the beach there is plenty of cleaner accomodation. I'm not sure why people love this hotel, location only.

Terrible experience, a completely run-down hotel without any soul nor caring staff. The room was moldy and damp, airconditioner not functioning properly, bathroom in shambles. Breakfast ‘buffet’ consists of virtually nothing. Serves ham without telling people it is beef (I am Hindu so don’t eat beef). In the evening there is barely a light on and the restaurant, despite being open, dimly lit, empty and dead…

Love this place, so peaceful. Great pools straight on the beach. Lots of different restaurants, great music every night all within walking distance along a serene stretch of the beach.

Expensive. Not good value. Sad breakfasts. An air of neglect around the property. Rodents all over the place. Staff not friendly. Rooms small with small cramped bathroom. Nice pool. Position is amazing, so it’s a shame the place is. It maintained with pride.

The best thing about this hotel is the pool, I really loved it, and the location . The room was a good size , and the bathroom was very run down. A very noisy aircon outside the back of the room that even with ear plugs kept me awake. Overall the place is very tired but we still enjoyed staying there . We didn't eat here as there were so many options close by. We did enjoy just walking straight out to the walkway on the beach and for that, and the pool, we will return as we only stay a couple of nights before heading to other locations, and for easy quick location, it's perfect.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here. In July 2023 they have no idea what Vegan food is..there are no Vegan options. In general the food at the restaurant is of poor quality The bed was excellent and so was the availability of a 2nd bed pillow Great location at the beach There is no availability of Smirnof etc at the pool bar The shower was very good..the toilet imited odour constantly..no it wasn't what I ate ..lol In saying all this I will stay here again..be prepared..arrive with all your dietary needs catered for yourself and if you like anything to drink other than Bintang ( which I do love and crave back on New Zealand )) bring it in with you 😋

I was super happy with my stay in this hotel, why? super clean, sanitized everything. I stayed for two nights, traveled to order place and returned again to this Hotel, They are very friendly, they keep everything very beautiful and clean. there a lot of nature. The beach is behind the hotel, very convenient to enjoy the sea, just walk in the back. I really recommend this Hotel 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😃

We arrived from a late flight and despite emails confirming our booking I don’t think they were expecting us, our room wasn’t ready as it had twin beds and smelt a bit musty and felt grotty. The bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a jet engine. It is an older style hotel and some of the common rooms and areas definitely need some work but the rooms ( once ours was cleaned next day and the bed sorted and fan fixed ) grounds and pool were tidy. Has to be arguably in the best location in Sanur, we would definitely stay again.

Great pool and right on the beach.. outside surrounds are very well looked after. Breakfast was very good. The rooms are rundown for the price u pay.. very much need to be upgraded.. painting.. tv.. and lights in room are very dull and makes it hard to see.. probably get better value elsewhere

Very helpful friendly staff. Very relaxing beautiful hotel. Love the gardens surrounding the rooms and then you are right on the beach. This is my second stay and won't be the last. I recommend if you want a bit of everything this is the place.

Staff are very friendly, comfortable in the hotel, but you can have lizards in the room.) Delicious breakfast but not so varied. The hotel's restaurant is vast in wonderful dishes. It is a very quiet place, the beach stretches out an extraordinary panorama, it is a wonderful place for relaxation!

Das Besakih Hotel ist ein eher einfaches Hotel. Für den Preis vollkommen okay, allerdings sind die Zimmer schon in die Jahre gekommen. Im Badezimmer hatte es immer einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön. Die Gegend Sanur ist super. Es gibt einige Lokale und Geschäfte, generell ein sehr belebter Ort.

Sorry to say a very tired property. It seems to have never fully recovered from the pandemic period. The staff are friendly and try hard but are really not up to the standard required. I would look closely before visiting this property, which is a shame because the location has so much potential.

Older hotel with fabulous location on the beach at Sanur. Pool and gardens very lovely.

It's located directly on the beach, Just decoupled by a small beach promenade from the beach with Hotel owned sunbeds and umbrellas free of Charge. The area sanur is very popular and good Restaurants and Others touristic Environments can be found near by the Hotel. Very good Restaurants available by a short walk left from the Hotel by using the promenade.

This hotel has been our favourite for 8 years now and we have stayed here many times. It’s an older property but full of Balinese charm with beautiful gardens and many trees. The staff are all lovely and helpful. The two pools and the restaurant are located right next to the beach. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you from staying here.

Good location with direct access to beach. Rooms are out of date, updates are due. Breakfast was minimal, better have it outside. Good beach. Next to Starbucks which is a plus.

Old hotel but lovely! My favorite is the location. Next to the beach and in the center of Sanur with many great restaurants and shops.

Location in great in Sanur. Close to shops and great restaurants. You can easily walk and get all the shopping you need. Rooms furniture are a bit dates but the AC works wonders and cooles the rooms with ease. Hotel provides clean towels every day and also pool towels. Staff are nice and friendly always. Gardens ans swimming pools are well mantained and clean. In fron of the swimming pool you have sea view with beds to take in the sun, there is also a shower to wash the salt from the ocean. I had a great relaxing time and will be back for sure. Also I got a lovely gift when leaving. The only thing i did not enjoyed was neighbours smoking in the next room. It seems normal in Bali people freely smoking everywhere but if I could choose I would have choose an smoke free area form my room. All in all a great okace to stay.

This hotel has the perfect location for family's in Bali. The hotel itself was a bit dated but still really nice. The area is much more spacious than others in Bali. The beach was relatively quiet and the beach-side dining was fantastic!

Nice clean room friendly staff and good location right on the beach. Nice to have kettle, tea/coffee/sugar in the room. Pool area is a bit small for the size of the hotel but there are plenty of sun lounges on the adjacent beach, many in the shade of beautiful big trees. Lots of good beach side restaurants within walking distance.

Does need refreshing but the place is still worth the stay. Still owned and run by balinese so the money stays in their economy. The staff are wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The rooms are cleaned daily unless you ask them not to. Can have your laundry done on site and the restaurant has a good variety of food

The hotel rooms are clean and include a balcony. The air conditioner works very well. Breakfast is included, it is a buffet of fruit, rice, and pancakes and you get eggs to order. You have easy access to the beach and all the other shops and hotels along the beach. Overall, it is a nice place to stay.

Although the hotel could use some updating, the staff is very attentive and the rooms and hotel grounds are clean. They also keep their beach much cleaner than the other hotels, including Hyatt. I most sincerely hope they can pull through the affects of the pandemic.
