Puri Gopa Hotel

Hotel

😠 We stayed at this place after reading the great reviews, however, were extremely disappointed. Our room had cockroaches in it, the toilet didn’t flush, there was hair in the shower drain and the bins hadn’t even been emptied. Worst of all, when we went to get into bed we realised the sheets weren’t... People often mention hotel, good, stay, pool, room, clean, Bali, rooms, Sanur,

We stayed at this place after reading the great reviews, however, were extremely disappointed. Our room had cockroaches in it, the toilet didn’t flush, there was hair in the shower drain and the bins hadn’t even been emptied. Worst of all, when we went to get into bed we realised the sheets weren’t clean. Black long hair was in the bed which not from either of us. Service was very average. Hired a bike from them for 80k - very overpriced for quality of the bike. We paid 60k in jimbaran for a much better bike. We have no idea how this place has such good reviews.

This hotel is so run down it isn’t funny. Thread bare towels that had a 5 inch rip in it says it all really. I thought it was a cleaning towel. Nothing works. Bathrooms are disgusting. Other reviews here have to be fake.Does not look like any of the pics on booking websites. They are from 30 years ago. Do yourself a favour stay somewhere else.

Traditional Bali style affordable small hotel in close proximity to the beach. Well maintained natural pool and nice gardens. The friendly staff makes up for the older style of rooms which require further attention, but 2 years of COVID restrictions must have been challenging for most small business on this beautiful island.

Not recommanded. Not professional. Not welcoming. The staff barely speak english and are not helpfull. The rooms are dark and old. So many things does not work.. Maybe a cokroach can be your friend there... Worst accommodation experience. Very disappointing.

Good value hotel in middle of Sanur near Intercontinental. Ask for one of the ground floor pool rooms which look nicer than our room on the first floor at the front. But clean rooms and great pool.

We stayed for nearly 3 weeks, 2 adults and 2 kids in the family suite. Huge room plus another smaller bedroom, aircon perfect and the location was A1. Only complaint was the breakfast, as mentioned, was a bit dull. Staff were excellent.

I recently stayed at Hotel Puri Gopa Sanur during my trip to Bali, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful area of Sanur, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet still close enough to enjoy all the local attractions and 150m away from the beach. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful swimming pool, which was surrounded by lush greenery and provided a tranquil oasis to relax and unwind. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Puri Gopa Sanur for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Bali. The staff, amenities, and location make it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers alike. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bali.

Nice and comfy 3 stars hotel. The building is made of bali traditional sculpture, the window, wall, rooftop, rich of balinese architecture. it is so unique. It also has delicious breakfast.

In my view this place used to be a fancy Balinese hotel back in the days when Bali was still a secret location for westerners. It is located about 3 minutes from the beachfront. The woodwork on the walls and doors are stunning. Unfortunately nothing much seemed to have happened ever since. The edges got scruffy all over the place. The former white towels felt like I was their tenthousands user. The pool mattresses looked disgustingly sub bleached and flat. The breakfast tasted rather poor and boring. However the staff takes a lot of effort to make everything look clean and tidy. It can’t hide the fact that the Puri Gopa‘s best days as well as the love are long gone. The area is more seniors and family focused. Most shops close early with hardly any nightlife.

Reasonable hotel in Sanur, close to beach. Unfortunately not good if you have a disability as the pavement is very slippery even when it is not raining.

Overall it was a good place to stay whether for a short or long time. You can add your bed if you're willing to. You can take a walk to access semawang beach.
