Booked a spa session on Traveloka. Was a bit surprised because the price is very affordable for a hotel spa. You will get a private room so you will be super relax with no distraction. The massage was AMAZING! Very relaxing that I slept all the way through. The room has a bathroom so after the message you can shower with amenities included! Highly recommend this spa to anyone!

The Balinese architecture of this place is so lovely with clean lagoon pool and friendly smiles from the staffs to welcome you. Staying here makes our holidays more memorable. The air-conditioning in the room was amazingly cool. Fully recommended to try the spa treatment here.

Such lovely staff, they all made a great effort to ensure we had a lovely stay. We were there for New years and they put on a wonderful show of the local dance etc.Very nice room, cleaned daily, great breakfast. Only down side was it was a twenty minutes walk across a very busy motorway and down through back streets to the beach. They did run a shuttle every two hours down and back to Sanur which was extremely reliable.

Such a beautiful, relaxing, clean and welcoming hotel. The service at Alantara Hotel Sanur is impeccable, friendly and professional. I stayed in the Deluxe Room and was spacious, clean and had a comfy king size bed and balcony. Buffet breakfast is tasty, fresh and had a variety of foods to choose from. The general menu is focused on healthy, nutritious foods, whilst also offering Balinese traditional food. The pool and hotel surrounds offer an oasis tropical hideaway. Plus a swim up bar! The Spa was professional, clean and staff offered amazing massages-Thank you Nuri! ๐Ÿ™ I would certainly book here again next time in Sanur. Thank you๐Ÿ™

Best room set up and atmosphere in a long time. Great space, good bed, great balcony, view, decor, design, etc. It is a hotel/resort with a great garden and swimmingpool with enough space and laying beds for everyone, no boom boom boom music, just relaxed. Hotel is situated in a quiet area. The only tiny minus point: plastic straws with the drinks is not 2023.

We mistakenly booked a room instead of a villa - and the pillows could be firmer, in my view - but our stay was really great because of its warm and hospitable staff. Thank you so much for having us! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉโ™ฅ๏ธ

The location is nice, the staff are very friendly. Only thing is bathroom was not spacious, and it takes a while to get hot water. And a little more privacy would have been nice for the bath and toilet. And about the restaurant, we didn't like the food that much, not many vegetarian options available.

Food here was delicious. Buffet breakfast & Nasi Goreng was so nice. Facilities were perfect, big shower, comfy bed and a lovely balcony. The pool topped it off, one of the nicest pools weโ€™ve been in out of any of the hotels in Bali. We stayed here as a couple and because it was close to the airport as we arrived at 10pm, stayed an additional night and so glad we did was so comfortable. Staff are amongst the friendliest you will find also, 100% recommend for a relaxing stay and to relax by the pool in the sun.

Great place. Great deluxe room. Great balcony. Friendly vibe. Such a small lovely resort. Located in Sanur accross the bypass. So visiting the beach will not be quite accessible yet still visible๐Ÿ‘Œ

We really enjoyed our stay at The Alantara! We were welcomed by very lovely staff, got a cold towel , a welcome drink, fresh fruit and a free massage as well. The breakfast was rich of options and tasted delicious. We also enjoyed some time at the calming and quiet pool area. What else could you wish for?

We had a pleasant stay at The Alantara Sanur. The staff (as with most places in Bali) were super friendly and always keen to help with any request. Our room was nice with a little balcony. Our shower was blocked, but was resolved whilst we were out and only took a short call to reception. The pool area was nice and relaxing and nice to see a hotel that looks similar to the photos we saw online. We would gladly come back here.

EDIT: I was contacted the same day as this review was posted (9 May), in response to the review. The hotel has agreed that I am due a refund. They will process it ASAP, but may take several weeks to process with my bank. In a show of good faith, I have adjusted this review up from 1 star. *** I booked 7 Rooms for a group trip that was to take place in early March 2022. I booked directly with the hotel & I paid a 50% deposit on each room. They were advertised as fully refundable with free cancellation and I even checked the terms and conditions on each booking and they confirmed the refundable status. The Bali tourism restrictions had not lifted by January to allow travel from the UK (where half the group was coming from) and the airlines cancelled our flights. So we cancelled the trip. Despite contacting them within the required cancellation period and despite numerous emails and contact with them, I have not been refunded. Buyer Beware! If you book this hotel, do so AT YOUR OWN RISK. I would suggest all future bookings go through hotels.com, booking.com or Expedia to protect yourself from their shady business practices. I am out a lot of money and am extremely disappointed in this property. I will remove this review if they finally refund me what is due back. But, its been 4-5 months, so I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen.

Lovely hotel with a great pool. The staff are amazing and kind. Ready to help at any moments notice. The room was very spacious and cleaner every day. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and water was provided which was great. Hotel breakfast was ok but it could be better. Lots of choices however sometimes the pastry was stale and the food was cold. Overall lovely hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing.

I was very well taken care of during my stay at The Alantara Sanur. We were greeted warmly, served promptly and we felt safe there. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a beautiful view of the pool and restaurant so we got to watch a performance too. Very relaxing stay and I can't wait to be back!

The staff is kind, the atmosphere is magical. The venue and rooms are beautiful. Worth mentioning: the events are great, and spring roll for breakfast stole my wifeโ€™s heart! A big thanks for the hotel!

Really nice resort. Beautifully maintained, nice atmosphere, clean, very friendly and courteous staff. Swim up bar is always a winner for me and they have a good range of popular name brand spirits. Food is tasty authentic cuisine, just a bit limited in choice but I am here in the off season. Stayed in the two bedroom villa with own pool and very happy with all facilities, i.e. fridge/freezer, cooking facilities, filtered water - hot & cold and nice garden. Free shuttle bus to/from Sanur shopping district and supermarket is great. Only gripe is that there is not really anything within short walking distance around the vicinity of the resort that is worth visiting, e.g. shop, restaurant, beach, place of interest, etc. That said, Gojek ride share is ridiculously cheap. Would I come here again? Yes. Do I recommend it? Yes.

We had an amazing stay at the Alantara! From the first moment until we left after 6 nights we were welcomed with an unprecedented amount of hospitality. The staff is amazingly friendly and try to give you the best experience they can, not hesitating to go the extra mile without having to ask for it. Special thanks to Pande and Ardi for the amazing service! The swimming pool is very nice and generally has enough beds for everyone to enjoy a sunny day by the pool. The food in the restaurant is of good quality and there are many fun themed nights to enjoy. Although in my opinion somewhat pricy at 300k Rp. Per person. The deluxe room with double bed was very enjoyable, with a nice and private balcony shielded by plants and trees from the garden/pool area. The rain shower is amazing and feels like you're in a wellness, with high quality scented soap/shampoo/conditioner. Points of improvement would definitely be the pillows, which were way too hard for my taste, and the matress cover which is loosened every time you sleep on the bed. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at the Alantara, and the hard working staff definitely deserves a 5 star review. Would recommend!

Our best hotel in Bali in this price category Pros: Very good price, you get luxury environment for your money. Staff is very kind, the pool is warm and nice, breakfast is delicious. Shower gel and shampoo smells really good, the air condition is very good. Cons: The wifi was very bad for us especially in the room. Sometimes our room had a bad smell, automatic air fresheners could be placed in the rooms. Others complained about the location of the Hotel, we think that it's close to the city, but unfortunately you have to go through the highway which is dangerous. I think the provided free shuttle service is very good and if you miss that you can use Grab, for only 1-2 USD you can get back to the hotel after you visited the city.

I had a great experience at The Alantara Sanur! The overall atmosphere was great, complemented by a nice breakfast and a comfortable bed. The staff was very nice and friendly, adding a welcoming touch to our stay. The free shuttle bus service every 2 hours was a convenient perk. Highly recommended!

Very nice place, pool and bar with lovely drinks, even from the pool. Had an early boat trip and they opened breakfast 30 min earlier for us, excellent breakfast. On Friday evening buffet with traditional dance. Great staff and much recommended

The design of the hotel was beautiful. You feel like in the nature. The hotel gives you a complimentary welcome fruit plate and 10 mins of neck and shoulder massage. The pool was quite good. They organized a Bali dance show in the evening. It is a little bit far away from the Sanur beach but they offer a free shuttle service.

Originally had booked here for 1 week, stayed for 2 weeks. Itโ€™s away from the hustle & bustle of main Sanur but they offer a complimentary shuttle bus to get you there or a 20min walk. The villas were lovely, staff were fantastic, food was great including some really impressive healthy options which is sometimes hard to find when traveling-the coffee was exceptional!! Staff always went over & beyond to accommodate. The Chillโ€™n Grill nights & Balinese themed nights were a really lovely touch. We would highly recommend and very likely to return again ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Really enjoyed staying in Alantara Suite! The staff were extremely helpful and professional. Breakfast was very good (enjoyed every meal I had there but it is quite expensive compared to the other eateries if you decide to buy food there). Pool was big and comfortable to use. A note to the hotel - there could be more pool chairs as often people were leaving their towels and stuff for a whole day without using them. The room itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The bed was huge and great. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and a bath. We were also very happy about our complimentary 10 min massage. To add, it is about 15-20 min walk into Sanur centre on a busy road but there is a free shuttle going every 2 hours. All in all, would happily stay there again!

Fairly priced. It's a bit old, and there's no elevator. So if you're bringing huge luggage, make sure you stay on the lower floors. But you'll missed out on the swimming pool view, which is more spectacular if you're on the top floor. The one thing that I didn't like is their bathroom. It's not spacious.

It supposed to be can be a five star experienced but i have a problem with the AC in the room. The room is clean and spacious for two. The staff is friendly and polite. They have one restaurant, the food menu is not various but they have a common menu that normally we like. The price is reasonable, the food is great! i tried the pizza and chicken cordon blue. They not really great in mixing drink, if you plan to drink the alcohol i suggest you to take the beer instead. I have a pleasant stay! Thank you Alantara! PS. Please make sure you fix the AC in 715. The AC always turn off in the night time. I've tried turn it on from the switch panel inside the wardrobe, it come back on but then off again in next few minutes๐Ÿ˜ญ

Resort in Sanur with a nice environment. I booked the one bedroom Villa. Have own pool, kitchen, big bathroom with bathtub. Was worth the money. Very reccomended. Althought not very near the beach but its very quiet at night. For those who looking for a place to relax and calm i can reccomended this place. Bedroom have a nice interior design. They also have different type of room

Got engaged here and tbh I couldn't be happier. All staff seems to be so happy, polite and sympathetic. Regarding the infrastructure, the hotel provides a beautiful SPA, swimming pool, clean rooms and a NOT overpriced restaurant. Often, itโ€™s worth more having dinner/lunch at The Alantara than going out to a restaurant. The price is ok and the quality of the food is impressive. Other than that, the majority of the staff speaks English and can provide helpful information about tours, hotel facilities and recommendations in Bali. I'm sure that any questions or concerns that you may have will be addressed by them. Good stuff Alantara Sanur! Great customer experience in Bali.
